"I missed you too... You were on my mind all this time since I left you on the terrace last night... I was regretting my decision, I was so freaking worried about you, Zeus. Since...Since when did you become so important for my heart?" Walking along the subway with a blissful smile on her face, as she was carrying on a conversation with him over the phone.

As soon as Czar started walking away from her by watching her speaking over the phone, she was a bit startled at his odd reaction and glanced a few times back to watch him marching away all alone amidst the crowd. Somehow she could notice his glum eyes but tried to focus on Zeus more as she had been desperately wanting to contact him again.

On the other hand, Zeus was taking a small stroll across the large yard of the mansion in front of the entrance. His mind wasn't at ease for a single moment since all the chaotic situations happening around him simultaneously. Moreover, Ivory's stubbornness was causing further distress in his heart. To seek happiness and peace, his only choice was looking for Eva even if it had to be limited within a phone call.

Looking at the illuminant moonlight sky and countless ethereal fireflies wavering around him on the large yard, he smiled at her response blissfully. Her soft voice was enough for him to escape from all the despair he had confronted till now.

"Eva, I can proudly say it... I will never regret choosing you in my life. You came into my life as the boon I had been looking hopelessly for so long..."

His voice sounded soothing and amicable over the phone and a wide chuckle appeared on her face hearing it. Taking a deep breath in, she further concluded, "perhaps both of us were looking for each other for so long... I wish I had met you sooner, Zeus."

As she was talking with him strolling by the sidewalk, a big car crossed beside Eva honking pretty louder. The noise was sudden and loud that it immediately caught his attention on the call.

"Eva, where are you? Are you outside?"

"Yes. Ahh, I have something important to tell you, Zeus. I got a new job today!"

She sounded extremely happy while whispering to him. Somehow his heart turned a bit sour to hear about her working somewhere else apart from his organization, but it was all for her safety and security that he agreed to the decision of her termination.

"Congratulations. Though I feel a bit sad that I won't be able to see you at work anymore...but...all I want to see you happy and safe." He murmured.

"Zeus, though we can't see each other at work anymore, we can always meet outside work... whenever we can. And, my new boss seems like a kind person. And the pay is pretty good too! I was just going back home after confirming my job and that's when I met Mr. Czar..."

"What?" Suddenly with her response, his eyebrows frowned with an anxious feeling and his face turned a bit sour. "Czar...he came to meet you?"

"Well, honestly, we have met two times today. He even gave me the compensation amount for the termination of my job. It was necessary for me." She reciprocated gently.

"Two times? Why is the hovering around her so much? What intentions does he possess towards her?" Wondering inside his mind, he stayed silent for a few seconds, fretting his brow ridge.

"Zeus, umm... Can I ask you something?"

"Hmm?"

"Mr. Czar... doesn't have a happy past, does he?"

Her voice resonated low, deeper in pitch.

Zeus didn't utter any single word to object to her query, neither did he admit it. He stayed as silent as earlier and gave off a heavy sigh.

"Zeus, he is your brother, isn't it? Though...he always smiles and acts playful...but if you look in his eyes once, you can see the emptiness so vividly. I feel that the way he acts such a way because...he likes to attract the attention of others so that he would feel a little less lonely... Don't you feel the same too?"

His heart ached a bit hard in agony hearing out her heartfelt answer. He stood all numb, clenching the phone harder in his grip and unable to define any of her words. She described him accurately enough and that's the fact which he had been declining himself for so long that resulted in the profound bitterness in their relationship.

All of a sudden, Zeus heard a noise near the giant  entrance gate and shifted his gaze towards it. Czar was walking in a nonchalant motion towards the mansion and as soon as he saw Zeus, his pace halted, locking his gaze on him intensively.

"Eva, I will call you tomorrow again. Get home safely and sleep well." Uttering in a cold voice, quickly enough he disconnected the call which startled her too. She wondered if her advice had been bothersome for him, biting her nails in anticipation.

...

"Are you doing well, big brother? I guess you are recovering real quick. Good for you. I am a bit tired and going back to my room," after a moment of pause, he quietly took a few steps closer to him intending to head straight towards the mansion. Whereas, Zeus stood like a rock gazing at him intensely, all silent. As soon as he reached closer to him, he chose to speak.

"Did you went to meet Eva?" His voice sounded ice-cold, reverberating in the dark.

Hearing his inquiry, his motion halted, and fiercely enough, he locked his eyes straight on him. "Brother, are you trying to pick a fight with me?"

"No, I just asked you a simple question. Did you went to meet Eva?" He seemed calm but resonated the same question again.

"Yes. I did, so what?" Czar sounded quite irked and agitated this time, glaring at him.

Zeus momentarily became all silent looking at his eyes sharply in the dark. His silence was provoking his agitation furthermore and he further vexed at him.

"Why are you silent? Are you being jealous of such a small act? C'mon big brother, you are being way narrow-minded now--"

"Hovering around other people's happiness won't make you happy, Czar. You must seek for your happiness." He proclaimed in a frigid and stiff manner before he could even finish off his sentence. His dazed gaze seemed darker as he was gawking at him.

"Wh...What?"

"Czar, you may be playing around Eva to catch her attention... But the part which worries me is your hatred towards humans... I am worried, once you are bored with this playful game, you may hurt her and... I don't want it to happen. Eva might be a mere human maiden to you but...she is my entire world. You can hurt me as much as you want since I am your brother, I can endure it. But don't you play around with Eva---"

"CUT THE CRAP!!"

All of a sudden, fiercely Czar shrieked out aloud that his husky perturbed voice reverberated inside the entire desolate garden. He seemed furious, blazing his eyes in anger while glaring at him.

Zeus silently stood still, pausing his sentence and startled at his reaction.

"Who...Who the fuck are you to care about my happiness? Who the hell gave you the right to do so?" He screamed out, venting his frustration on him.

"Czar--"

"All my life...I had never been happy for a single moment in this fucking mansion! My whole life...I was treated as an unwanted child! This fucking place was never my home...not even for a single day! When...When I finally learned to be my own, who the fuck are you to bother about my life? Where have your concerns about me been all this time?"

"I never treated you below your worth, Czar." Slowly taking a step forward towards him, maintaining a calm posture he murmured in a deep voice. "You are my brother and I have been always concerned about you--"

"What a bullshit crap you are blurting out, Zeus Romano!" He intervened his words viciously, holding a painful smirk on his lips. "Out of all the people I hate in this crappy house, I...I despise you the most, Zeus! I hate you the most! I...I wish I could burn down the entire house including you!" Proclaiming his intense hatred towards him, he turned back to walk away outside the mansion, trembling in wrath.

Zeus stood awestruck with his heart aching in agony to hear those painful words out of his mouth. He lowered his head down and clenched his fist running out of words and phrases.

But before he left, slightly he shifted his gaze towards him and murmured out in a deep note, "and don't mistake little duckling as a mere human maiden... She was able to open your door touching our spiritual emblem, without my help. Seek for the truth before it's too late." Grumbling his words, he walked out of the premises without even looking back once.

"Wh-What? She...did that? What?" Swirling his eyeballs wider in shock and dread, Zeus shrieked out aloud.
