The next day...

Golden yellow illuminant sunrays were lightening up the entire atmosphere with mild, tender spring breeze floating nonchalantly through the downtown. Birds were chirping and blessing the stressed life of people with melodious voices which indeed made the whole surrounding quite amicable to breathe in.

Dressed up in a formal red skirt with a white laced floral top, Eva was walking down the street with a blissful smile on her face. She was on her way to the 'Cafe Roselia', her new workplace owning a confident grin on her oval elegant grimace. Painting her lips with a cherry red lipstick, flaunting her wavy shimmering black hair down the shoulder, and putting light mascara on her long, beautiful eyelashes, she indeed looked divinely gorgeous attaining the attraction of several men walking past by her. Moreover, the shining black haematite stone hanging on her neck, attached with the silver necklace flaunted her beauty quite furthermore.

As soon as she reached the cafe and opened the entrance door, the wind chimes rang blissfully in a mellow rhythm which was the major indication of the customers visiting the cafe. As she marched inside, she noticed Mr. Beck, dapped in a suit was looking at a magazine sitting on a table nearby to the glass door, sipping an Americano Latte. Hearing the sound of wind chimes, he raised his chin and glanced at Eva with a warm smile on his radiant face.

"Good morning, Miss Eva." He was the first one to break the silence, greeting her tenderly.

"Good morning, Mr. Beck. Here I am, ready for my first day." She bowed her head a bit offering her cordial gesture towards him and holding a blissful grin.

With his dark almond-shaped big eyes, he scanned her entirely from head to toe owning a mystical smirk. As he finished scanning, softly he murmured standing up from him a seat, "you look ethereally beautiful today, Miss Eva. Judging from your outfit, you look like a bright regular corporate woman." 

Hearing out his compliment, somehow she felt a bit bashful lowering her eyes down. "Umm...I was a little confused about dressing up for my first day here, Mr. Beck. I am sorry if my outfit is overly showy--"

"That's fine, young lady. I like those women who dress up confidently like you. From the first moment, I saw you I knew it right away... You are the one." Taking a few casual steps closer to her, he murmured in a gentle note with a mystical smile on his grimace, gawking at her. "If you have studied the file, you can start it right away. I know you can manage everything quite well and so, I will leave my cafe up to you then." Tapping her shoulder to hint at his encouragement, he slowly walked past her outside the cafe putting his hands in his dark blue suit pocket.

As he left her alone, she glanced back once and wondered on her own, "was the...hitting on me? No...I am probably overthinking again! Eva...stop suspecting everyone! I should focus on my work from now on... I gotta put up my messed life on the right path. For that, I need money, by anyhow..."

It was already past afternoon. Compared to her first day working in a cafeteria, Eva was doing pretty well managing the customers gracefully. There weren't many people around, but those who came were quite mesmerized with her charm, especially a few young as well middle-aged men. Standing at the counter and taking the orders, she was smiling radiantly at the people which was drastically increasing her charm furthermore. People were stealing glances at her while sipping their coffee, as well as a few of them, we're crushing on her hard. There were some young women inside the cafe too who seemed to be a bit displeased in jealousy with the radiant aura she was emitting there.

[Phone ringing]

While monitoring an invoice bill on the computer at the counter, she slightly took a glance at the screen to peek at the number. Immediately her eyes brightened up in joy and hurriedly she picked it up in a jolt, grinning widely.

"Zeus?" A blissful tone escaped her mouth as she answered it.

"I missed you." A warm voice answered from the other side of the phone which melted her heart like wax along with a small chuckle.

"Ahh, I...I missed you, too. I thought... You were angry at me, last night..." Fidgeting anxiously, she stole a glance around her to make sure no customers were waiting in the queue and already served with their orders. 

"Eva... Out of billions of creatures on earth, you are and you will be the only one who can only calm down my anger instead. You are my magical potion." A soft whimper escaped his voice, as he took a deep sigh out.

She smiled in gleam, lowering her gaze down at the table. "Are you doing better now, Zeus? How is your injury? I...I am at my workplace right now."

"I know about it, and that's why I came to meet you instead." 

"What?" Utterly surprised, she blurted out in a loud voice which flinched a few customers who were sitting nearby the counter. Swirling her eyeballs, she further continued, "you came what?"

"I came to meet you here in the cafe. I am watching you from outside through these glass walls. I was waiting for your permission before hoping in." He reciprocated in a calm and composed tone.

Immediately with a jolt of surprise, Eva raised her chin glancing straight at the wide road in front of the cafe. Indeed it was true! Dressed up magnificently in a black loose formal shirt tucked inside his white denim jeans, wearing black goggles and elegantly styled up wet shimmering hair, Zeus looked no less than a breathtaking hot supermodel who was catching the attention of almost every ladies passing across him. 

As soon as their eyes met each other, he raised his arm upwards and waved towards her, holding a broad chuckle.

"Why does he look so handsome today? Gosh... This man can kill someone with his looks!" Quickly disconnecting the call, she almost rushed towards the door without wasting a single second. Watching her coming to greet him, smiling radiantly Zeus further walked closer to her.

"Zeus? Why are you here? And...what about your injury? You should have taken rest at least--"

Before she could finish her nagging, he embraced her small body within his broad chest, snuggling in her shoulder. Her touch seemed warm and loving which put a pleasant grin on his face. 

"I missed you. A day without seeing your face is too hard for me to endure." He whispered.

"Gosh, you just become a small child before me! I had never thought the almighty Zeus Romano would turn into a pampered baby, someday." She tried to tease him a bit, softly tapping his shoulder with a smile.

After a moment of embrace, both of them drifted apart from each other a few inches away and he caressed her blushing cheeks tenderly. "You look... beautiful like sunshine, Eva..."

"You look handsome too. But I am amazed, how did you find me here?" 

Holding a mysterious smirk on his radiant face, he stared intensely at her before answering, "no matter where you are...I will always make sure to find you."

All of a sudden her heart throbbed hard, hearing out his passionate declaration. Gripping his arms tight, she pulled his arm to head straight into the cafe. "Come inside. I will treat you with some special coffee."

Obediently following her inside like a small puppy, Zeus took the seat closer to the counter to stay in closer proximity from her. As soon as he walked inside, his bright divine aura immediately caught the attention of all the ladies, resting inside. As he took his seat tossing a smile at Eva who was preparing coffee for him, all those hungry mesmerizing eyes were abruptly hooked on him.

"Oh my God! Who is this guy? Look at his broad shoulders! Oh my! Is he a model? Or an actor? He seems to be rich! Gosh, he is my type! Should I ask for his phone number? He is a nice catch! Look at his glowing skin, oh my! His veins... Look at his veins on the arm..." 

All these whispering and mumbling noises from all around were pissing Eva quite badly. Irked and quite agitated, she was glaring at those hungry maidens with her eyes blazing in wrath.

But Zeus seemed entirely indifferent to all the whispering noises beside him. His eyes were only gazing towards Eva, without giving a damn to any of the women present right there.

"Excuse me?"

Suddenly, a tall, pretty, and quite well fashionable lady gently approached closer to his table summoning him in a soft note. She tucked her fine hair threads behind her ear, looking much confident.

"You look pretty lonely here Mister... If you don't mind, can I join you here?" She probed in a bolder voice. 

"No." A cold, irritated voice came as a response from him as he was twitching his eyebrows in agitation. The woman still seemed a bit persistent and tried to pursue him again, "I just wanted to give you some accompaniment--"

"Go away...before I kill you." Swirling his pupils wider, he proclaimed in a scary dark note, with an atrocious gaze in his eyes.
