Making a loud reverberating noise inside the cafe, Eva banged the coffee tray quite hard on the table Zeus was sitting on to cut off their entire conversation chase. Her facial expression seemed extremely vexed, raising her chin, she glared at the woman who was approaching her man shamelessly.

"Excuse me, ma'am? The table is already reserved, so you can try somewhere else. Thank you." Her eyebrows were twitching in perturbation, and in a displeased tone she pointed her index finger towards an empty table at the corner of the room, indicating her to go away. 

"Huh?" That lady looked highly offended with her impolite behavior as well as his atrocious threat. Glaring back at both of them, she grumbled, "what a bunch of creepy weirdos! Darn it! I am leaving here right now! Such a disgusting place!" 

Stomping her feet hard on the ground, she marched straight out of the cafe inviting the attention of quite a few people. As she stomped out, taking a deep sigh out of displeasure, Eva took her seat opposite Zeus on the table.

"You didn't have to threaten her like that, Zeus. What kind of response you gave to a woman?" 

"She was annoying me. Humans are stinky and I despise it when they bother me like this." Looking much calmer and composed, he murmured in a soft voice, gawking at her.

His response somehow throbbed her heart a bit in concern. His immense hatred towards humans always bothered her badly as it was her existence as well! A concern always occupied her mind that what if someday Zeus begins to despise her the same way he treats the rest of the others. The fear and palpitation were causing her to overthink about it, lowering her gaze down from him.

"But you looked enraged too, Eva." Softly caressing her knuckle, he broke the silence initiating their conversation. "Your pretty face seemed much vicious when you were glaring at that woman--"

"Of course I would be angry!" Snapping at him before he could finish his sentence, she frowned her brow ridge. "She was hitting on my man! I wanted to chop her head off her body! But it's bothersome to cover a crime due to laws and regulations in humans... So, unwillingly I had to let her go..." 

"Were you jealous?"

Suddenly, a blunt question came flew from him which startled her as she rose her chin up to look straight into his eyes. He was smiling heartily, staring at her deep ethereal eyes, and seemed much amused at her vexed reaction.

"Wh...What?"

"Were you jealous, sweetheart?" 

"Ye...Yes of course I was jealous! And... what's her fault to fall for a man if you go on looking so breathtaking like this... Every woman will drool over such a perfect man like you..." She fidgeted anxiously while sulking her face.

"Your usual calm face looks so fierce whenever you are jealous. It makes you... perfect for me." 

"You don't have to console me anymore... Just... Stay as my man... Forever." Breathing a deep sigh out, she mumbled, pouting her grimace while he was caressing her knuckle softly. As soon as she stopped rambling, Zeus pulled up her hand from the table and tenderly placed a soft kiss on her knuckle, which for a few seconds, even surprised her.

"I don't need to even look at any other woman because...I have already found the one I was meant to be with. I am and I will be always in love with you, Eva." His voice sounded amicable as he patted her blushing cheeks, to shower her with his deep affection.

Her heart was pounding like crazy observing such heartwarming displays from her. A wide grin appeared on her face as she further touched his broad, warm hands and nodded her head.

"Alright alright, look, I have brought this for you to grab a bite." She pointed towards a delicate blueberry cheesecake which seemed much delicious, served on a plate together with a cup of hot Americano on the table. Zeus seemed a bit baffled as she pointed towards it and blinked his eyes nonchalantly.

"I didn't order for a blueberry cheesecake, Eva---"

"I know. It's my favorite so I wanted to have a taste of it. Trust me, your worries and concerns will melt along with blueberry cheesecake making your heart content in gleam." She sounded much pleased while trying to pursue him to try the dish which was her favorite.

Watching her getting excited with such a small thing, Zeus couldn't help but smile at her innocence. Obediently he picked up the spoon and took a scoop of the cake she brought for him.

"Is it delicious?"

"Yes, very..."

"Yaay, I am glad you like it. Whenever you are sad or depressed, just chose this combination and your mood will instantly brighten up!" She was clapping her hands like a small kid, mumbling in a mellow tone holding a warm chuckle on her radiant face.

Zeus couldn't refrain himself from staring at her as if she was the only living thing left in the world for him. Her wavy deep black hair was shimmering as golden brown in the sunrays that were reflecting inside through the glass walls, elevating her beauty a thousand folds higher. He was lost in his deep thoughts, unknowingly smiling like a young teen boy in love.

"She is trying to teach me finding joy in little things...I wished for this warmth in my life for so long... I feel...spring finally arrived in my cold life..." He wondered, holding a radiant broad smile.

[Phone ringing]

The apartment seemed small in size, but much messy with clothes and accessories scattered all around everywhere. It was already past afternoon and lazily, Clara was still slacking off on the bed without any spare energy left in her body to get up. She skipped breakfast and was planning to skip lunch too due to her unbeatable tiredness, but her plan was intervened with the sudden loud phone call echoing inside her bedroom.

"Ughhh! Who the heck is bothering me on my day off? Darn it, I got a day off after such a long wait... And who the fuck is disturbing my slacking hours?" Grumbling in a pissed-off tone, she nuzzled her face on the soft head pillow before picking the phone from the side of the corner table. 

Her eyes were closed and without even glancing at the number, she conveyed her displeasure. "Hello...Who the hell is this?"

"Is this tone you should use to communicate with your Master?" A cold, witty voice came from the other side of the phone.

"Master...my ass! Who the heck is bothering me on my day off?" Her eyes were still closed while snarling at him.

The voice became momentarily quiet on the other side and after an awkward silence, it further continued in a deep reciprocation, "If you have forgotten about our deal, then I guess...I must let your friend know about your real truth." 

Suddenly, in the flash of a second, she opened her big startled eyes and almost sprang up on the bed quickly glancing at the phone screen. It was from Czar, who seemed a little vexed over the call at her arrogant responses towards him.

"Ohh...ahh...I...I...am finally awake now! I...I am sorry, I didn't recognize your voice earlier..."

"You offended me with your reaction, my dear slave. Shouldn't you recognize my voice just from a single word?" His tone sounded much perturbed as he inquired her sharply. 

"Why this asshole is bothering me on my day off? Ahh, I wish I could kick his butt once for testing my patience!" Cursing him inside her mind, she cleared her throat before responding to him back in a polite tone, "good afternoon, ma...master. What business do you have with me?"

"You are my slave, do I need to have any business before calling you? Ahh, so naive. You should be thankful to your master who reached out to you first!" He replied almost abruptly, occupied by a chuckle.

"This jerk is annoying the shit out of me!" Trying to suppress her anger as much she could, she further lowered her pitch furthermore, "pardon my ignorance, master. But I was just curious that why did you remind me all of a sudden?"

"Well, I was bored as hell, so I thought of you to ease my boredom. So... Meet me at Sapphire Street in an hour. And yes...don't be a single second late than your scheduled time or else...you know what will happen afterward, right?" 

The call was disconnected almost immediately after his declaration.

Clutching the phone harder in her grip, she sat like a statue momentarily. All of a sudden she stood up from her bed and threw the phone on the bed quite viciously, screaming her out in anger, "you fucking jerk! How dare you boss me around like this on my precious day off? I want to kill you ripping your stomach apart! You are an asshole! Die! Just die!!!!!"

My dear readers, I have very sad news to share with you all,

For the last few days my health was deteriorating & today I checked in with a doctor and came to know that I am COVID POSITIVE :( :(

I am mentally devastated but I will try my best to stay strong and fight back for you all :) You people have become my family and hopefully... I will make it through this tough phase...
