My Navy Seal II: Undeniable Attraction

KIM

I have enjoyed picking out wedding venues and dresses and wedding invitations with my mom. Nick was involved in almost every decision but he always agreed with what I wanted.

As the days go by Nick became more mobile and could even bend down to tie his own shoes. He could come with us to get his tux and we even could have an unforgettable night of hot steamy sex.

We haven't seen Angie or John anywhere and it almost seems like they have disappeared off the face of the earth. Sometimes I can see my mother not feeling very happy about the fact that Angie is not a part of my wedding. But it is as if she realizes that and she will just make things worse.

Today's the day that we expect John and his wife and Nita. We are going to have a bachelor and bachelorette all in one. We came to the conclusion that nothing good happens when we are separated. We would rather stay together before we get married so that we can make sure nothing else goes wrong.

As their taxis arrive in the driveway, Nick and I stand hand-in-hand waiting for them, I can not stop the excitement in my heart. I am getting married in two days to the man that has changed my entire life.

The first taxi arrives and the car does not even stop properly when Nita jumps out of the car. She runs up to me and gives me a hug while we jump up and down like little girls excited to get their first pony ride.

"You are getting married!!"

"I am getting married!!"

We giggle like little girls and we are enjoying every moment of it. Then I pull away and say.

"I'm so glad you are here"

"Me too!"

Then she looks at Nick and I know that they have a long history. Nick is smiling at her and he walks closer as he wants to give her a hug. She gives him a light hug but he tightens his arms around her.

"I do not want to hurt you"

"That ship has sailed. I'm all healed and ready. I'm so glad you could be here for Kim"

"Well, you know, I'm not just here for Kim. You have been my friend for many years and I have never seen such a big smile on your face before"

Then Nick walks closer to me and holds me around my waist.

"Well, I have never been this much in love before"

I feel a sense of pride as he parades me like his trophy wife. I know that some people do not like that but I love it because I get to be a Navy Seal's wife. Nita can but only smile.

"I can see that she makes you happy"

Then another car pulls in and it must be John and his wife. I would lie if I say that I'm not a little bit nervous to meet her because I know that Nick spends a lot of time with them. I think I might even be a little bit jealous because he seems to have them up on a pedestal.

NICK

I am so glad that I get to see John again. The last time that I saw him he was severely hurt and almost lost his leg. I can not describe the happiness that I feel because he is going to be my best man. I also can not wait to see Olivia. I remember how many times I would eat dinner with them and spend many hours at their house.

As the taxi stop, I walk closer. The door opens and I see John. He can walk again by himself. We smile as we first high five each other and then pull in for a hug. Then he says while he is hugging me.

"I missed you, Master Chief"

As he says the words something in my heart changes from happiness to sadness. It is only for a moment but I can not help it because I am not a Master Chief anymore. But I let that moment quickly leave my heart as today must be a happy day.

"I have missed you too"

Then Olivia appears from the other side of the taxi and gives me a hug. It is strange how this hug suddenly feels different. Now that I have a fiance and soon a wife, it is as if I feel almost awkward to hug her.

I do not want to offend Olivia but I certainly do not want to offend Kim. I pull her away and she puts her hand on my shoulders, I know she only means well but for some reason, I do not want her to touch me anymore.

"How have you been Nick? I heard what happened over there and it must have been horrible"

I remember how we would share our war stories with her and how she would always make us feel better about ourselves again. But for some reason now, I do not want to tell her how I feel and I only want to open up to Kim.

"I am fine now, thank you"

Then I quickly turn around and look for Kim's hand. She is not too far away and then I feel her hand in mine. I pull her close into me and then I say to Olivia.

"Olivia, meet my fiance Kim McPherson"

Kim quickly stretches out her hand and says.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Olivia. I heard so much about you"

But then Olivia pulls her in for a hug and says to her.

"I know that you going to be a great wife to this man and I am so glad that he found that someone"

Of course, I did not expect anything less from Olivia because she is a very warm-hearted person. I can see that Kim is happy now and that is all I want. Then Kim turns to us all and says.

"Please, come and let me show you where your rooms are. We are very excited to have you all here"

KIM

I am so glad that Olivia approves of me because, for some reason, this was important to me. I want Nick's friends to like me. I do not know why I want it but I am so glad it is working out. I take them through the house and of course, my mother is there to greet them. Nick's mother is not too far behind as she arrived a few days ago. Our mother has been inseparable.

Then they get settled and we decide to go out tonight as a group. We will have the bachelor and the bachelorette tomorrow night just before our wedding. Tonight will only be a night to get to know each other.

Everyone gets ready to go out. I put my best dress on for the night. As I get out of the bathroom Nick immediately comes to put his hands around my waist.

"You know, I think it is illegal for you to wear that dress"

"Oh?"

"Yes, because we are here to get to know each other and not for me do not be able to focus"

I could not say another word when he pulls me in for a kiss. Ever since he could walk again he hasn't get kept his hands of me for a second. We have been kissing and touching each other like two love birds and at night we would seal the deal.

I can not remember if I have ever been this happy. Everything is just working out perfectly and tonight will be a great night. Soon we all get into the car and make our way to the local pub.

NICK

We sit around the table and then the girls start to dance. I am feeling much better but dance is not something I would like to attempt at this very moment. So, it is just me and John and I have been looking forward to talking to him for quite a while.

I realized that I can not keep this to myself any longer and then I say.

"So, I have something to tell you?"

"Yeah? So do I..."

"You do?"

"Yeah but you first"

I feel a little bit nervous because I do not know how he will take it. I hope that we can still be friends and I do not really want to hurt him in any way.

"Well, I have decided to retire. I will not be returning to base"

I see his eyes widening and how he tries to hide them. He takes a sip of his beer and then a deep breath while staring at the table.

"I knew that you were going to do this to me"

"I am so sorry, John. It was a long time coming. I do feel bad for dropping you like this"

"Yeah, you better"

"I know that we worked well as a team and have become close friends. I just wish that we could stay friends after what I have decided"
