At night, Zhao Yun settled Xia Mingyu in a room, then came out with the door closed. Mu Feng and the other two persons were outside the door. As Zhao Yun came out of the room, He Nai first asked, “How’s it going? Is he okay?”

“He has been asleep. Don’t worry.” Zhao Yun waved his hand, and the eight-tailed cat spirit jumped off his shoulder. It spoke unhappily, “This lad is such a trouble.”

Xia Mingyu was finally relieved with a sigh. Fortunately, he had worn the jade pendant since he was a child, which kept him from the assault of numerous ghosts.

The fierce ghosts couldn’t get close to Xia Mingyu and could only gnash teeth around him. Xia Mingyu cast a glance outside and suddenly said, “Are you sure that you won’t be subdued by the people outside since you show up here?”

The fierce ghosts hesitated for a moment, and one of them smiled, “What are you afraid of? The people outside will not notice us at all now. The Yin Qi of that King of Corpse is much heavier than us. With him, our Yin Qi is more or less covered up.”

It explained the matter. No wonder the people outside didn’t take any action. Otheriwse, you will be dead meat and after you die, your body naturally belongs to us.”

“But… Since the kylin pendant on his hand is not taken off his body, how do we get close to him?”

“Why is this guy so troublesome?” The eight-tailed cat spirit easily swept away the ghosts near it, but upon seeing the kylin pendant on Xia Mingyu’s neck, its pupils squinted at once. Um, how interesting! It seemed that this lad was not that simple.

Zhao Yun didn’t take much action. The ghosts didn’t dare to approach him, so he quickly reached the bedside and expelled the female ghost with a wave. It happened that Xia Mingyu took off the kylin pendant. Because he lost control, he suddenly collapsed on the bed. The female ghost roared disgruntledly and rushed over. And a yellow talisman was thrown on her, which made her cry out in pain.

Mu Feng and the others had already cleaned up all the ghosts. Mu Feng quickly walked over to turn Xia Mingyu’s palm over and saw a blue line going from his palm all the way up, hidden in the clothes. Mu Feng pulled open the clothes on his chest and the blue line had slipped down from the right collarbone and headed towards the heart on his left chest.
