Formula dao operated furiously as Lu Yun bent his mind to deriving the roots of the three hundred and sixty-five demon gods. His calculations told him that the Dao King spoke the truth, the man was holding nothing back.

Even now, the Three Thousand was resisting the three hundred and sixty-five Major Cycle Worlds. There should have been Major Cycle Worlds protecting the realm, yes, but they would never be worlds derived from demon gods.

The Three Thousand was an objective existence and thus couldn’t refuse the demon gods, but it could help Lu Yun contend against them. His formula dao gave full expression to its capabilities under the auspices of heavenly dao and easily determined where the three hundred and sixty-five core essence altars were.

“Three hundred and sixty-five dragon points. Three hundred and sixty-five tombs! The demon gods have placed their altars in ancient tombs around the world!” Lu Yun narrowed his eyes and broke out in a large grin. “That’s perfect! My tomb raiding sect is an illustrious faction in the world of immortals and excavating tombs is our bread and butter.

“I’ll have the sect’s disciples come to the Three Thousand and uproot the three hundred and sixty-five tombs! They’ll drag the altars out of the structures!”

Lu Yun didn’t plan on doing the deed himself. Although the demon gods were still asleep, their will had taken note of him. They would be on guard against whatever action he took. It was better to have his tomb raiding disciples accomplish the task!

He’d long since passed on his tomb raiding skills, so it was more than appropriate for his disciples to tackle the mission. What use were his factions if he had to personally accomplish everything himself?

Of course, it was also due to his own laziness and habit of leaving his work for others. If not for Qing Yu and the little fox, he would likely still be fighting alone and have no forces to his name.

The Dao King smiled as well. Nothing was a problem with Lu Yun on the scene.

The Gates of the Abyss swung open with a boom and established a link to the Dao Academy of Mount Xuanhuang in the world of immortals. Tomb raiding disciples poured out of it, setting foot on this unknown world.

Although Lu Yun had given the combined dao of three hells to the Disordered Sacred Supreme, the gates were the treasure of the Tome of Life and Death and thus remained Lu Yun’s. They could even connect to the nothing now. All existences and worlds were potential destinations so long as the young man himself was present within them.

If he wished, he could easily travel to the Major Cycle Worlds that the demon gods had transformed into. But if he did so, he would be traveling to his own doom.

The three hundred and sixty-five demon gods were awakening and those were their personal worlds. If he dared set foot in one, they would instantly kill him and try to find a way to claim the Tome of Life and Death.

With that, the sect of tomb raiders was shifted into the Three Thousand. Qing Yu and the little fox were among them and they dragged Lu Yun off to places unknown as soon as they saw him.

“Young man, everything in moderation!” The Dao King smiled knowingly as he watched them depart.

Lu Yun returned after an indeterminate period of time, wearing lipstick stains on his face and slightly disheveled robes. He coughed awkwardly when he looked at the Dao King.

The man knew nothing. Naturally. Of course.

“Your disciples sure work fast. They’ve learned your style and have already excavated an altar,” the Dao King smirked Lu Yun.

“What fast? It took them a very long time!” Lu Yun protested hotly, feeling that the man was questioning his stamina.

Qing Yu and the little fox blushed hotly while the Dao King remained smiling.

“The demon gods have responded as well,” he changed the topic with a solemn expression. “We are about to have a difficult fight on our hands.”

“The two of you should cultivate in the world of the Tome of Life and Death.” Lu Yun sent his dao partners into the treasure without another word as he also sensed impending danger.

Although they’d done very well to reach empyrean supreme, that level of cultivation was useless in the Three Thousand. They would become his weaknesses instead.

No sooner was that done then countless zombies surged from all directions, announcing the arrival of their enemy. Jiang Chen walked through the void and approached Lu Yun and the Dao King.

“Lu Yun, we trusted you so and poured forth all of our efforts to nurture you. Yet you decide to wallow in the mud with the overseer! Are you going to destroy all of creation for the sake of one woman?” Jiang Chen was present in his zombie form—a ghastly white figure with four heads and eight arms. Two pairs of wings unfurled from his back—this was the true zombie. As the ancestor of all zombies, he’d been born as a zombie.

Yellowish-orange corpse qi flowed from his orifices and he zombified everything in his wake. Trees turned into zombie trees and even the energy of the world metamorphosed into lifeless corpse energy. His cultivation level of a nihil powerhouse was on full display in the Three Thousand.

Color drained from the Dao King’s face; the overseer was just his replica. His primary self was preventing the three hundred and sixty-five from emptying the realm of vitality.

In fact, this was just a replica of a replica that wasn’t even a sacred supreme. THere was nothing he could do but rely on Lu Yun.

Lu Yun threw out a talisman without another word. It turned into tens of millions of talismans that summoned the energy of the realm. Thunder roared and lightning ripped through the sky. It was a Thunder Summons Talisman, one he derived from the Thunder Palmstrike death art.

When the thunder and lightning appeared, Lu Yun employed another death art—Mastery of the Five Elements.

The five connate elements of earth, water, fire, metal, and wood gathered around his body, combining with the sky of thunder and lightning to form the Five Elements Cleansing Thunder. It was a technique on par with a death art!

Zombies were connate demons at their core. Lu Yun’s Five Elements Cleansing Thunder could perfectly counter them.

Zombies keened and wailed as they turned to dust amid the apocalyptic thunder and lightning. Corpse’s eyes turned red as a Blood Sea surged out from him, protecting him from the heavenly discharge.

“I remember—the person who killed me and refined me into a zombie king was you!” Diexi’s eyes shot wide open. Wherever she looked at turned into mountains of zombies and a bloody ocean, just like Corpse’s Blood Sea.

“What a pity that I was one step away from turning you into my replica. I had to go along with the changes in plan.” Mouthfuls of pungent corpsewater drooled out of his mouth when Corpse leered.

“You’re not Corpse!” the Dao King shouted. “You’re one of the three hundred and sixty-five. You’re Feilu!”

“Hahahaha!!” came an answering peal of laughter. “Of course it is me. How else would that brainless old zombie create the Abyssal Hell and populate the existences within nothing with his descendants?

“What a damn pity that you gave hell dao to someone else. I’d be able to turn on you right now if you hadn’t!” Feilu ground his teeth.
