The research done on Ki turned out to be much better than what they had done with chakra. They might not have the similar reserves or destructive capability of the ninja world but they had done a lot better than what he expected.

The Cultivator might not have some of the complex jutsu like the shadow clones, Edo Tensei and such but they had almost all the elemental manipulation that was much better than the ninjas and only weaker because of their lower reserves.

But this wasn't what surprised him, it was the fact that the cultivators had stepped into the conceptual realm of Ki while ninja had never even considered it.

Wild Spirit had been further explained so Song could understand what he was getting into.

Ki was used similar to chakra but it operated on a different system.

It was greatly connected to the world and with research through the centuries the cultivators developed better understanding of each concept.

Concept of each element, beasts, stars, imaginary beings and such were made.

Every proper cultivator would focus on a concept and keep building on it, and his fighting style would match that concept.

The higher the understanding of the concept, the stronger the concept would become.

Even without changing the way you used Ki or increasing its quality, the attack would become stronger as the concept would become more solid.

To raise the understanding of the concept Cultivators would spend most of their time into research and reach out to the source.

Charles focused on the Wild, meaning the animal kingdom and it showed on his true self.

His fighting style was like a beast and his aura was also the same.

The true self was a meditation technique that showed the true self of the user and when Charles showed his true self, Song saw a beast man with a lion's head sitting on a stone throne.

The true self was what really defined you, not what you thought of yourself.

It would show you what you might have been ignoring unconsciously and helped users see where they were going and if there was anything wrong with them.

Seeing the mix, he didn't know what he wanted. Did he want his real self to look like Rock Lee or change to Song Jae Gu?

"Why do I need to change? This is what I am so let it so."

Moving on from the true self, Song asked the important question, "What about the concepts of Space and Time or Life and Death?"

"I didn't expect the question but it is valid. Every concept requires time and research to build up, and many have tried to touch these concepts but none have succeeded.

The Ki requirements seem to be very high and the world punishes anyone that tries to touch upon such forces.

Many have lost their lives trying such things, exploding or losing all their life force. The test by the universe when you touch such concept is too cruel and everyone that dared perished. Do not attempt such a thing unless you wish to die?" Charles showed a rare serious expression when that topic came up

Whenever you decided on the concept to follow the World or Universe would test you. It was the biggest the difference between their worlds as it seemed the Universe was conscious and tested those that wanted to break through their limits.

The tests were dangerous but very rewarding for the body and Ki.

"What about the Immortal man? Do you think he might have tried it?"

"No one knows and even if he has done it, he hasn't shared it with anyone."

"Thank you for your explanations but one more thing. If Queen wants to join this world, would you accept her?"

"You can't share the knowledge with anyone Song Jae Gu."

"I won't, I will just ask her indirectly as a make believe situation."

"You are asking for too much here disciple. You will have to convince her father only then is this possible."

"I see." With that the conversation ended and Song went back to cultivating while memorizing the steps for the techniques.

The others expected him to meditate but our boy was multitasking as it was natural to him and it won't be long for him to arrive at the first stage, Ki core forming.

The Song family schedule had changed greatly and the siblings spent time in the primary section of the school until five P.M when their mother finished her work or study.

Jae Gu didn't have to worry about them as the WG guaranteed their safety.

Finishing up his training by 6 P.M today unlike yesterday's short training Song was feeling really tired not just starving.

The training had been meditation, history lesson, memorization, lesson on the families and clans and sparring.

Song had been beaten 4 times today by Lee Na, once every hour.

"Good work Junior." Lee Na stood outside the room and passed him a water bottle that had some pills mixed in

Just like back home, the cultivators had also made food pills, blood pills and Ki pills along with some other medical items to help out when no healer was available or you were out of KI.

Using such items, Song was able to continue training properly or his injuries from the first spar would not allow such a thing.

"Thank you Miss Lee Na"

"Call me Senior, we are colleagues now."

Song nodded as he didn't have a problem with that and this meant Lee Na wasn't as aloof as he thought. She reminded him of Kurenai, the Leader of team 8 and the most beautiful woman in Konoha before Tsunade returned.

Kurenai used to act cold outside but in her private life she was very soft and caring.

"How was today's training senior?" Song stretched his limbs after the meditation and decided to make some small talk since they would be spending a long time together

"It was adequate. How about you?"

"Mine was very fun, I love training and getting my body going."

"Hn"

"Senior, do you like fighting?"

"I have no particular feeling about it."

"Hmm then what do you do for fun? I train, play with my family, tell stories, fight and talk to friends so do you have something like that."

"That is personal information."

"Senior, you should loosen up a little bit. Taking everything seriously will make things boring and having positive outlook makes life colorful."

"I will consider your advice."

"Good" Song smiled even though he felt the difficulty talking to people with such personalities. Shikamaru would say it, it was too troublesome.

"Senior, is there a person you look up to?"

Looking at his gaze filled with curiosity, Lee Na didn't let his young looks fool her anymore. He was not a child but a man.

His conversation with Charles and attitude was proof of his skills and knowledge.

But this information wasn't some secret.

"Leona Hiedern from Germany is the strongest female of my generation and the role model for any strong fighter."

Hearing that name Song understood that her personality was definitely very serious. Leona was a mercenary and one of the highest ranking fighters in the world.

Her personality was also similar to Lee Na, serious and expressionless.

Both of them were cold and beautiful.

"I will cheer you on Senior, you can definitely beat Leona."

"Is that so? Miss Leona lives constantly in battles and is already a True Master at this age. She had taken part in the previous World's Strongest Tournament and defeated the Korean Team Captain."

"Just because some old guys lost, doesn't mean we can't win."

Lee Na didn't comment and walked him outside the training facility.

Song Jae Gu didn't take her cold responses to heart as this was their first real conversation. It would take time but he will make her relax as life was too difficult when you took it too seriously.

Driving back home, he thought about what happened and his date with Moon Young after an hour. He had promised Moon that they would hang out near her place.

This was his first date in more than 30 years. He had zero experience with such a thing and only knew things from what he had heard.

"Just act natural as there is no need to change what I am."
