New Waves
Chapter 8 - 12
The day ended at a beautiful note as Song got to see his family even happier than before. The Song Family had entered a sad state once the father died but that changed within months as Lee took over as the head of the family.
It was the first time in life that he had taken responsibility for others and acted as the a.d.u.l.t like his own master had for him.
With his words and actions he changed his mother and showed her glimpses of a better future ahead while his siblings were already attached to him.
Lee had trained alone at the start but after the incident he made all of them enter into the field. Every day they would sleep early and wake up early.
His siblings were six and seven years old only now so they started at the age of five while his mother had been joining and had been doing the routine since the year of tragedy.
It wasn't too difficult as he wasn't trying to make them expert fighters or anything but healthy and powerful individuals.
There was jogging in the morning, a short work out, flexibility training, martial arts and an obstacle course.
The Song family knew everything Lee could teach them and they went through the motions. With such a healthy life style and his positive attitude all negativity had been erased.
The mother who had almost lost herself to gloom and despair was a shining ray of light with a great body.
Lee didn't like to hurt his family but he had also sparred with them to build up pain resistance since all martial arts would become worthless if the user can't handle getting hit.
Fortunately it seems his family was blessed with talent, his siblings were geniuses in academics while his body was blessed with physical properties optimum for fighting.
With Ki being introduced into his life, Lee also thought about building his family now. It was the old dream of building a foundation for a strong family or clan.
His dream had always been to prove the power of taijutsu and the potential of the human body. It was a dream built on his master's as one person isn't good enough proof.
They intended to recruit more and train them together but that sadly ended prem.a.t.u.r.ely.
His dream of giving a good life to his family had been achieved and it was at the destination. Now Lee's mind was coming back to his old dream of becoming the strongest and building the clan.
The thoughts about Ki stimulated his mind and his dream was filled with various activities unlike the previous peaceful dreams.
He could see the giant figure of Naruto clad in golden as he stood against the monsters, with just one move he cancelled out everything that would have ended most of the forces.
His energy changed form as he wished, never limited by the number of his limbs and taking his opponent by surprise.
Naruto was one of his rivals in name. He was a person that Lee respected very much even though most called him an idiot.
Lee didn't believe it as this idiot had created his own fighting style while all of them just copy pasted what they had been taught by others.
The shadow clone fighting style had evolved in just three years by one teenager and it showed Naruto's fighting genius.
Lee had fought against Naruto and found him to be the most dangerous type of foe as his attacks were hard to predict. It was fighting against multiple opponents and each attack was linked to each other.
The battle always landed in a tie but Lee was sure that he would have won if he used his full power but that was because of his higher physical stats.
But all this changed when Lee fought against Naruto's sage mode that gave him the undodgeable attacks and prediction ability.
Going forward, Naruto once again received a new power and his fighting style changed to accommodate the new abilities.
Among the fighting styles, Lee had seen, his dreams were mixing up the gentle fist and Naruto's abilities into his fighting style.
An attack that could not be dodged and blocking was pointless as it bypassed the defense hitting the insides directly.
Predicting attacks accurately, dodging them and reacting without hesitation.
Having control of the whole field and never having a blind spot, never being in a position where he couldn't react properly.
Unpredictable attacks from any direction like with Naruto's chakra hands, Lee could see so many uses that his old friend hadn't imagined at that point of time.
If he had used them properly they wouldn't have to die in the war. He could have handled it alone before it got out of hand.
Lee might be a positive person but there were times he blamed the enemies and Naruto for what took place.
Because Naruto could have done something about the situation, he had the power to actually do it but he never worked efficiently.
Naruto wasn't the only one, Lee blamed Jiraiya and Kakashi for this failure as well because they were his teachers and they held him back instead of pushing him forward.
His master always pushed forward no matter how painful it got but they didn't even show him the proper way.
If they had been together for a longer time, if he had been smarter at that time and perceptive, maybe the future wouldn't have happened.
Such thoughts mixed with his imagination of new fighting style, Lee woke up at the right time.
He didn't need an alarm clock as his body was used to the exact timing.
Five a.m in the morning, Lee got up and everyone in the family got into action. It was morning workout time.
It was just enough to give them the energy to go through the workout session and after a short wait, the family went on a run around the neighborhood.
The siblings were small so they couldn't jog long distances so after two kilometers they opted out and sat down to relax before continuing their workout.
They didn't use any of the equipment as Lee didn't want to affect their growth with muscle training. With this training their bodies would grow stronger and faster, giving them the ability to join his world without any problem.
Song Mother did five km before finishing up the jog and went through the motions of her workout goals. It also included the martial art movements and if they didn't remember them, they could see the poster on the wall of the training room.
There was a training area in the bas.e.m.e.nt, it wasn't big but it had the required equipment for basic training.
Song kept pace with the family until the siblings retire, after that he increased his speed as he wanted to build up higher strength and stamina.
The morning air was cold but his body was burning even though wore shorts and a white shirt with a headband to soak in his sweat.
His usual morning run consisted of at least 20 KM every day and he gone through the motions of his martial arts million times already that his body couldn't forget even if he forget about it.
At the end of the workout, Lee would meditate and fight in his mind with foes he already knew or created.
In the old neighborhood he would meet some old man that would greet him every day as his run was a regular sighting but in this new place he didn't come across anyone except a kid of similar age.
From one look Song could see that the boy had only above build and his steps didn't show any martial background.
The boy was just jogging for a healthy life or he was also training and was just a normal fighter so that it hadn't bled into his life style.
The boy was the same size as him and when he looked towards Song, there was a burning fire in his gaze.
'Youth!'
It was the power of youth leading the boy towards improvement.
Lee didn't stop him or talk to him until the boy had stopped his run, breathing heavily while sitting on the bench in the park.
It was a short run, like 5 kilometers but the boy had kept on making short dashes in between so the fatigue build up quickly.
"Good morning, my name is Song Jae Gu and I have just moved here yesterday. If you wouldn't mind me asking, what are you doing this for? Maybe we can help each other out." Lee introduced himself as he sat down beside him while the boy poured water over his head to cool down
Lee didn't rush him as he was catching his breath and saw signs of damage on the boy's body as he had definitely been in fights.
There were signs of damage on his arm, scr.a.p.ed knees, scratches on his arms and damage on the face.
"Nice to meet you, my name is Shi Woon Yi and I am just running as part of my workout as I have picked up martial arts this week."
Song shook the hand offered and felt good about him, he liked it when people worked out and participated in martial arts.
"Same here, if you want I could you help you without your training as I am an old hand."
Song offered as he lacked any friends because of his life style. He was busy with training, work, school, studying and taking care of the family but now he didn't have to work so he had free time.
Many kids had wanted to become his friend because of his looks, strength and intelligence but to Song they were just classmates since he only gave them time at school.
This was a new place and it was an opportunity so he wanted to try making friends here since School had no male members yet except the staff.
Shi Woon looked at the new guy with curiosity as he never expected anyone to approach him at this time.
The guy had good looks and his body was built like a machine.
He could imagine getting one punched by those hands.
It had been five days since he started training under Han and his broken bone got fixed very quickly instead of taking a month or so.
He had been taught some basic moves and his Ki training was in the beginning stage as it wasn't easy awakening it with no experience of such foreign energy.
The Awakening took a day and now he was just building it up so that he could learn Ki moves to finally enter the Murim properly.
According to Han it would take him few months since Ki took time to build up and to accelerate the growth he needed to fight and stimulate his body.
"If it's no trouble than I would love to. You can come to my house and we can spar there peacefully. It's the biggest house in the area so you won't miss it."
"At what time?"
"Night time"
"No problem, I can do that."
"Thanks but why so friendly, do you know me?"
"No, I just wanted to make a male friend since my school only has girls."
"Are you from Wild High's or something?" Shi Woon said sarcastically
"Yeah, how did you know?"
Shi Woon turned to look at him, "What? How? That's a girls school not coed."
"It became coed this year, haven't you heard?"
"Really? How are you the only guy then? Forget me but most guys are pervs that would not lose the chance to get close to those girls."
"Right! I was also thinking like that but somehow there is no one. It's really weird."
"Maybe people thought it was a prank by someone if the marketing wasn't good."
"Maybe"
"So how is it?"
"Today is my second day but the first day was quite exciting and getting attention of beautiful girls feels awesome."
"Don't you already get that?"
"I do but those are weak girls, not my type."
"I can't imagine what life must be like in a school filled with fighters. Don't you feel worried about getting hurt or stabbed?"
"Never thought about it but I don't think the girls are that crazy. They are from a good background so it would not suit them to act like that."
"Hmm, you are right but anything can happen so watch your back or you might get stabbed by someone for breaking their heart."
"Why do you keep insisting about the stabbing?"
"Meh, just saw news mentioning a stabbing incident that's why."
"Then I hope you don't get stabbed either."
"Man don't jinx me, I already got an arm broken no need to get my organs a new hole."
"Well I will be leaving now as I need to finish my workout so see you later Shi Woon." Song chuckled at his words and got up
Before leaving they exchanged numbers and Song continued his run as he had some kilometers left and since he had taken a rest, he sped through it.
His attention towards Shi Woon was more than normal as he sensed Ki inside his body when they shook hands.
Shi Woon was like him, a new part of the Murim so there was a good chance that they could help each other out.
'I wonder who is teaching him.' Song had already understood that Shi Woon was also like him, an outsider since his training was new
Someone from the clan would have started at an early age like six, not sixteen.
The Ki didn't give any specific feeling and was colorless, which gave Song the impression that the master was a just low level guy while Shi Woon's level of talent was unknown to him.
'I should ask Charles about the people that live around me to avoid trouble.' Song decided as he wasn't sure about the Murim people and if he met them now, it would be disastrous with his low stats
