Chapter 6:Princess Hero

Once I saw her, I recognized her immediately she is the healer hero. She is Princess Quinne Emerald the first daughter of the king. She is known for her knowledge, war planning, and her healing ability all she was known for those skills of hers were perfected when she was only 5. When she was ten the king, her father decided to have her take the test. Three days later on her 11th birthday, they announced that she was an official hero according to the orb. Four years later she was able to win back half of the land that we lost to the demons in a year. Three years later she was able to save hundreds of lives with her healing ability. She was what she was labeled as a hero.

Also since she was the only daughter of the king, she was known to have the most valuable of things. Many would say she is spoiled in more ways than one. Right now she is wearing a dress embroidered with gold on end and emeralds sat upon the top hem of the dress. The princesses hair was held up by a silver pin with a gold end and a flower emerald in the center. Her hair a fiery red hair glowed against her ivory skin making her green eyes pop with colors. Her hight was tiny if it weren't for the apparent size of her chest and her posture you would think that she was younger.

Yep if you comment on her height, you will meet your maker. So I kept my mouth shut and turned to the king. That's when he looked up after having what must have men a debriefing from Sir. Earl. Looking at me the king's eyes narrowed. That is when the general fell to the floor as if it was the only safe are in the room. Walking over to me I stood my ground, but it felt like as if bricks were landing on my shoulders almost as if I was about to be flattened. It was like the life I knew before was only a memory.

After all, has passed I felt no pain raising my eyes to meet the king's face that is when I saw the biggest smile on that mans front. It almost seemed impossible that a man who put so much pressure on me with his presence now smiled. It was nearly too confusing. That's when I felt a pat on my shoulder. It was like as if I was looking through the past. It was genuinely frightening — especially the look that Sir. Earl looked at me from behind the king. It was almost as if he was going to make me a dead man. It was practically staring at the eyes of death my old friend that I faced when my mother and I was near death's door.

It felt like silence was unbreakable, but that is when the king started to laugh like as he had seen an old friend. Too confusing this is just confusing. At first, the king's laugh was maintainable, but now he is laughing like a maniac. It was like one last candle to keep out the night was blown out. That was when the king stopped laughing. That was when the king released my shoulder and slapped me on the back. It felt startling I almost forgot that he had his hand on my shoulders, so it was shocking.

Then the king spoke in a rustic voice, "Well boy I heard that you were able to not only escape a demon rider and your also a hero. HAHAHA, Interesting I almost thought that there would be no other hero besides the 'heroic five' interesting. Now come with me you shall meet the other heroes." Okay, wait... WHAT?!! this is a shock I almost shouted that out loud. Looking at the king, I was probably looked as if I was glaring and I spoke clearly, "Lead the way sire." As soon as I said that line the king started laughing again. Seriously whats funny?*Sigh* I give up trying to understand this king.

The king going back to his serious face started walking down a hallway. In that hallway, there was the armor of all kinds as well as gold planks which sat next to the helmet. On the planks, ere were names of the kings' predecessors. Once we reached the end of the hall, there was a plank made of something like steel. The name written on it was unreadable and rusted like none cared if it fell apart. Carved on the board underneath the armor it read, "Traitor" realizing I said that out loud the king said something I doubted I would forget, "Some kings in the past weren't as righteous as some make us out to be." With that, he opened a door that let out a groan. Once the door opened, you could hear shouts and the clashing of blades and chants of magic bursting out of the room.

It was a battlefield with no death.
