Before I can finish my sentence, Shigure opened her mouth and went in for the kill.

I can feel her soft lips quivering as she nibble on my my ear. This is a weird feeling. It's a little ticklish, somewhat pleasant, and a bit exciting... I guess? Not sure how to describe it.

I pet her head.

Why did Shigure did something unheard of? It's all because of her little sister, the miniature version of Shigure. Shigure-chan asked her older self to watch some weird ASMR video, which was streamed and uploaded by a certain cat-fox from Azur Lane. Apparently, from what I was told, there was a playbiting scene in that video, and Shigure wanted to reenact it for some reason. Maybe she has some interest in such things. Or maybe she is just bored with staying in the office and doing paperwork all day.

Shigure slowly got off my lap and returned to her desk. Since she is out of commission for the time being, I had her work as my secretary. "Then Ryuujou will be stuck with babysitting duty from now on. Tell Ryuujou once Hoppou-chan is satisfied, she and her fleet can come home. And prepare a feast for them and some leave forms. They deserve a break for establishing a relationship with that Abyssal princess."

Fearing that our Abyssal friend might have been affected by the spores that cause the Abyssals to turn into Beast Abyssals, I sent Ryuujou, Mikuma, Mogami, Tama, Asashio, and Arashio to the North where Hoppou resides for a small investigation and possibly form an official alliance. I consider the previous encounter an exchange of contact numbers, as we only exchanged planes and promised to help one another only when Ember appears. That Takao clone has been extremely queit, I haven't heard about her since then. It's great that Hoppou has officially agreed to help us in our endeavors. Hoppou-chan, though she can't communicate well, she is smart for an Abyssal. Having her as an official ally will help us fight against the growing Siren threat.

"And finally," (Ooyodo)

"There's more?"

"Ark Royal from Azur Lane is on a rampage. She is last seen heading towards Maizuru Naval Base. They have sent a fleet to pursuit her." (Ooyodo)

"Bring the base alert level to the max! Hide all the Coastal Defense girls and everyone from the Fubuki class and Mutsuki class. I doubt she will go after the Shiratsuyu class but tell them to be on high alert and stay away from that Aircraft Carrier. And get me Zuihou and Zuihou-chan. I will lock them in my room. Do not let that lolicon near any of our smaller girls!"
