"Fleet 1, sortieing!" (Agano)

I watched from my office as Agano and the rest left the port. With the typhoon gone, we can resume all activities. The off-duty shipgirls are helping Akashi and Yuubari with repairing structures damaged during the typhoon. Thankfully, only the factory roof was torn off, which made a mess inside, some broken windows in the dorms and a radio tower antenna which got dislodged. Unfortunately, because we got cut off from the rest, I have to write a report, on top of all the doc.u.ments which just came in. How troublesome.

As for Azur Lane's Akatsuki, she seems to being getting along with the others, especially with the submarine girls. Maybe it's because the submarine girls are technically our ninjas? As long as they are not influenced by her.

"Hai... This is a bit too much, isn't it?"

"Can't be helped. We were cut off for almost 24 hours. Everything that was supposed to come in yesterday got piled up with the ones today." (Ooyodo)

"It wasn't our fault. The typhoon knocked out our comms tower."

"Yeah yeah. Enough complaining. Hurry up and get to work! I will be in the command room monitoring fleet one's status." (Ooyodo)

"I'll leave that to you."

I got started on the report. First I need to explain why we were cut off for the network.

"Wah! Looks like a hassle to deal with." (???)

"Yeah. I have to fini- Shioi!? What are you doing up there?!"

Somehow, Shioi emerged from one of the vents in the ceiling .

"Akatsuki-chan is teaching us some ninja techniques. It's fun." (Shioi)

I going to have to whack that girl later.

"For now, just come down. It's dangerous."

I went forward to get ready to catch her. Shioi just let herself fall on me.

"Woah hey! What are you doing?"

"He he!" (Shioi)

Shioi hopped off my arms and dust herself.

"Wah. It's so dusty in there."

"What did you expect? There are some cobwebs in your hair."

"Eww..." (Shioi)

Seems Shioi is here, I decided to get her to help me with the doc.u.ments. She agreed immediately.

"Hmm? Admiral, this report..."

Shioi handed over a stack of papers. It's an report on some weird enemy encountered by Yokosuka's 2nd scouting fleet. Although they didn't engaged it, they observed it's abilities. It has an drone which resembles an hammerhead shark, and was creating black sh.i.p.s out of thin air. It was even observed to teleport around while creating these sh.i.p.s. It was definitely not an Abyssal. With the existence of Azur Lane and their enemies acknowledged, this summoner type is most probably a Siren. There even a rough sketch by Akigumo. A long haired girl in a sailor uniform with a hammerhead shark.

"This is concerning. I better inform Azur Lane's commander about this."

"That looks like a Purifier." (???)

"When did you come in?"

Akatsuki was looking over my shoulder. How did I not notice?

"Ninjas have ways to appear when you least expect." (Akatsuki)

"She made a hole in the ceiling and dropped behind you." (Shioi)

"You better fixed it!"

"Waah! Traitor! Thoppit! Leg go ob by heeks! (Akatsuki)

"I didn't met one, but I heard a Purifier is one of the strongest Sirens. It has powers that defy physics. It can teleport, bend time and even fate. It's truly an fearsome foe." (Akatsuki)

"I see. How terrifying."

"Hey, be more nervous. The Purifier is really powerful!" (Akatsuki)

"Right right. Less taking, more repairing!"

With the existence of Shipgirl and Abyssal constantly appearing out of nowhere, it's not surprising to hear that the Sirens have one enemy which is overpowered. While the Abyssals rely on raw firepower and armour, it looks like the Sirens rely mainly on otherworldly powers. I think.

It's almost night and I'm just about done with all my work for today.

"Shioi, you can go now. I can manage from here."

"Really? There are still quite a lot of work left." (Shioi)

Okay maybe not all of my work.

"I can handle those myself. If not, I will just leave them for tomorrow."

"I got it. Good work for today, Admiral." (Shioi)

"Thanks for your help. Oh, I take this ninja with you."

"Eh? I can leave now?" (Akatsuki)

"That shabby woodwork is alright. Iwill get Akashi to fix that hole properly tomorrow. you better be thankful to her!"

"Huh?! Akashi-chan doesn't focus on making gems here? She does work?" (Akatsuki)

"What the hell are you talking about? Oh and your equipment should be repaired by tomorrow. So you can leave once it's done."

I have a feeling that Commander won't be coming to pick her up.

"Really? Yay! I can finally go home!" (Akatsuki)

"Right right. Now go get some sleep. You know where is your bed right?"

"Yep. In the infirmary." (Akatsuki)

Yes, we decided to let her rest there for the time being. I can't possibly make her sleep in my bed or my couch, right?

Still, this is still quite a lot of work left. I have finished the main task, which is the typhoon report and the resource reports, but there is still more. Training schedules, operational plans, lots of things which we may not be involved in.

"Yeah, I'll finish some of them and do the rest tomorrow."
