Our Bonds

The following day, Azur Lane sent in a fleet to bring back all of their little destroyers back home. Thankfully, the fleet consists of Sakura Empire girls, so there wasn't a panic among everyone else. If the Eagle Union girls were here, I'm going to be spending a few days getting those traumatised back to normal. It's not that the Eagle Union girls are bad or anything, most of the girls here has had bad experiences with them. Furthermore, unlike Azur Lane, they have little experience dealing with sh.i.p.sgirls from other nations. Save for Jervis and Gambier Bay. Those two are the only American shipgirl's we have. Most, if not all, of the girls have already accepted them as one of us.

This past few weeks, the girls have been hard at work fishing for Saury and Sardine. Why are they fishing? Two reasons. They make good ingredients to spice up the menu and HQ is offering a some equipment in exchange for a number of Sardines and Saury . At last, we managed to get what we want!

"These fairies look like Akagi-senpai and Kaga-senpai! So cute!" (Zuihou)

"There it is. The plane freak..."

"Ahaha... Zuihou really love planes." (Shouhou)

"How do we use this mortar?" (Murasame)

"Maybe it put it down to launch it?" (Shigure)

"That sounds troublesome poi." (Yuudachi)

"Well, we can try out the equipment later. Let me just run a few checks."

"Okay." (All 5 of them)

"I will be in my office if you need me."

While the girls play around with the new equipment we got, I decided to get some work done.

Once if I get into the mood.

What? I have been busy for the past few days. Let me rest a little. These few days it has just been reports, reports, reports and more reports. I need some breaks too. Besides, the weather today is great for relaxing.

Maybe I would read some of the manga in my backlog. I kept buying manga whenever I get the chance but I never had time to read them.

Ahh~ It feels like it's been so long since I had a break like this. There were times when I slacked off when I'm playing with or taking care of the girls but this is the first time I have actually slacked off on my own.

I still have some paperwork to finish but that can wait.

"It was strong! The legs are a little cute as well! And- That not the point!" (Zuihou)

Tsk. She didn't fell for it.

"Why weren't you doing your work?! Isn't there a bunch of paperwork to finish?" (Zuihou)

"I can finish it anytime. I just need to read though and then reply to each one."

"Even so, you still need to do it!" (Zuihou)

"Eh... Let me rest for a bit. I have already work hard for the past few days..."

"Fine. If you can finish half of the work today, I... I'll give you a reward. Anything you want." (Zuihou)

"Anything I want?"

"Yeah. But no lewd stuff." (Zuihou)

"What makes you think I'll ask for lewd stuff?"

"Because that's what you always do!" (Zuihou)

In the end, I asked for some of her Tamagoyaki (Rolled Omelette). I just don't feel like doing much today... I kept my promise and did half of the workload. I will leave the rest for tomorrow.
