The 2nd mission was a success! It took longer than expected though, 2 days in fact, but it's finally done! And Kashima finally came home! Now we have someone to train the young destroyers and Coastal Defense Sh.i.p.s. And true to the rumours, Kashima is definitely s.e.xy. A-anyway, time of the third one, 'Battle of Surabaya'.

For this mission, it' going to be a combined fleet operation. As with the 2nd mission, Maizuru is teaming up with Kure of this. From Kure, Kitakami, Sazanami, Furutaka, Kiyoshimo and Chiyoda will be joining us. From Maizuru, we have Tenryuu, Tatsuta, Kumano, Maya, Samidare and Yukikaze. The current plan is a Surface Task Force. According to the reports, there are 2 phases to this mission. The first task is to sink a Ne-class Heavy Cruiser Kai. After which, we need to sink a Battleship Water Demon. This is going to be difficult as usual. For the second phase.

"Should we equip Kumano-san with anti-installation equipment?" (Ooyodo)

"Great idea. Chiyoda should be able to achieve air superiority on her own. Equip Kumano with a WG42 and the new rocket launcher. Lend Furutaka our Type 3 shell as well. For the destroyers, equip those in the main fleet with anti-submarine equipment and anti-air for those in the escort fleet. Give Tenryuu and Tatsuta the basic load-out. This setup should be enough."

"Roger." (Ooyodo)

Now with everyone's equipment settled, what's left is for them to do their best and complete the mission.

"By the way, how are those two?" (Ooyodo)

"They are sleeping now. There will be a lot of explaining to do once they wake up."

Earlier, Yuubari came over to give me the medicine to turn Shigure and Zuihou back to normal. As with her previous creation, she add melon flavouring to it. I had to feed it to the both of them, since they refused to go close to Yuubari . They were a little reluctant, but after some coercing, they drank the medicine and fell asleep immediately. Right now, they are in my bedroom. Yuubari looks like she pulled an all-nighter to create the medicine, so she is also resting now. I should probably order a refrigerator for her, just in case she needs to chill her creations again.

"You better not do anything to them while they sleep." (Ooyodo)

"I won't! What do you think I am? A pervert?"

"Yes!" (Ooyodo)

Wow. She said it with no hesitation at all. Can't deny it though.

I think it's time to check on Shigure and Zuihou. If the medicine was anything like Yuubari's failed 'Bust-up Drug', the effect should be immediate.

I took a peek at both of them...

Huh... I guess Yuubari is a genius after all. The medicine worked. Both Shigure and Zuihou have returned to their normal size. Oops... Better get them some clothes. I won't want another screaming incident.

As I placed their clothes beside them, the phone rang. I went to pick it up.

"Hello?"

"Admiral, is that you? Perfect!" (Commander)

It was Azur Lane's Commander. If he is calling me using the direct line, that means something big is about to happen. I'm already busy as it is.

"What is it?"

"We managed to pinpoint a few locations where Shoukaku and Zuikaku may be hiding." (COmmander)

A few locations? Why not find out why they are really hiding?

"You don't have a definite location?"

"They seem to be constantly moving about. Current Siren activity suggests that." (Commander)

Fair enough. At least we finally have a chance to stop them and end this Siren-Abyssal war. I'm going to presume he needs help in searching those locations.

"I know you guys are in the midst of a large-scale operation, but I need some help in searching these areas."

I knew it.

"I'm not sure if there is anyone available for this. Most of my girls have their own assignments to carry out."

"We don't need to assemble a full fleet. Just 1 or 2 shipgirls to scout the area is enough." (Commander)

"Even if you say that, I don't think any of my girls..."

Before I can continue, I notice a certain girl staring right at me from the corner of the table. She is awake? What is she doing?

"Zuihou, what are you doing?"

"Ehehe. Well... A-anyway, I can do it!" (Zuihou)

She can do it? What is she... Oh great. She overheard our conversation.

"No. I am not sending you out there. You just returned back to normal."

"Back to normal? Speaking of which, I can't seem to remember anything these past few days. Did something happened? Why did I wake up n.a.k.e.d? Why was I on Admiral's bed? Why was Shigure sleeping next to me? You didn't do anything to me, right?!" (Zuihou)

I have a lot of explaining to do.

"Where do I start?"
