Outcast Hunter

Leo wasted no time in bringing Blasphemy back to life. The latter gasps for air as he was given a second chance in life. He found himself searching for the wound he got when Leo stabbed him. It has already healed, leaving a scar as proof of his utter defeat.

The last thing the media saw was the part where Leo finished off his enemy. It threw the audience in a state of amazement and shock. For a second, they thought that Leo would fall to Blasphemy's hands and meet his demise. The live feed ended as soon as the fight ended. They can't witness something so trivial, like resurrecting someone back to life.

"You got me back there," Blasphemy said with a smile on his face. He accepted his defeat wholeheartedly. "I might have underestimated you a bit that last minute." He thanked and swore loyalty to Leo..

Leo purposely had his clone get stab deeper until it gets closer to Blasphemy to the point where his enemy could not pull his sword back to defend himself.

"If I was seconds late back there, I would have been the one who died." Leo's wound to his stomach had just got fully healed itself. The tip of Blasphemy's sword managed to inflict a wound on Leo. The latter's skin where he got hurt had traces of burns on it.

From afar, Djhin and Jin were rushing towards where the others were. Their face showed signs that something bad had happened on their end. They were catching their breaths due to the continuous running.

"Milord," Djhin was still out of breath, "your mother she..." he wasn't able to finish what he was going to say because Leo went in a flash as soon as he heard those two words 'your mother.'

"I... I'll catch up to you guys after a few minutes." Jin watches their figures slowly turned small as they got further away from him.

The train of thoughts circulated, and a series of what could have happened to his mother flashed in his mind. Leo had prayed multiple times already, hoping that his mother was fine.

It took Leo only a few minutes to reach the destroyed hospital. Numerous dead bodies laid flat on the ground. There were dead humans too who fell prey to the bloodseekers. It wasn't a sight to see. Some had been sucked dry and, some were murdered brutally.

"Mom, where are you?" Leo searched through the dead humans lying on the ground. He turned those who were lying on their stomach around. "Mom!" His tears began pouring down when he wasn't able to find his mother among the dead bodies. He had searched every one of the dead humans. The only place he hasn't search yet was the collapsed building of the hospital.

Aophy and the others followed Leo. They saw him lifting all those large rocks. He was throwing it away, paying no attention to where it lands or who it hits.

"Milord, what are you doing?" Djhin was finally able to take a rest after running all the way from the hospital back to where Leo was and back to the hospital again.

Leo glared dagger at Djhin. he was like, "you're seriously asking me what I'm doing?!"

Djhin flinched when his eyes met Leo's. Only if Leo had given him time to explain what had really happened to his mother. He wouldn't be searching all over the wrecked hospital if Leo let Djhin spoke up to him.

Djhin spoke up again. He was finally able to explain where Leo's mother was and what had really happened to her.

"No way..." Leo caught a glimpse of his mother through the glass wall. His mother looked so lifeless yet beautiful in her white patient's clothes. The doctors who were trying to revive her had just stopped reviving her by the time Leo arrived. "Don't worry Mom. I'll bring you back to life," there's no stopping him.
