Outcast Hunter
Chapter 112 - 112: Grief Part 3
After resurrecting his mother back to life, Leo, along with her and the others, went home. He wanted his mother to take a rest first before telling her what had happened to Tom. Leo wants to lie to her but, Leo can't. He wants to add no burden to what she was carrying with her.
They rode the car provided by the Hunters' Association, by the Chairman. While on their way home, Leo explained a little to his mother. What happened to her. How long she's been in a coma.
"Is this where you live now, Leo?" His mother was a bit surprised to know that her sons had already moved in from their old house.
Leo smiled bitterly and replied: "Yes, Mom, but don't worry, our old house is still there." He knows that his mother has a lot of memories made there..
She recalled the past where she and her husband was happily enjoying their meal along with their children. Those were Bitterly sweet memories of the past.
"Let's head inside."
Leo and his mother went straight to her new room. There would be a whole lot of things to talk about. The remaining hours before the evening was insufficient.
"So, you're saying that your brother was taken away by some monsters?" She loves both of her sons. There's no one ahead of someone. "Will he be okay?" Her voice was trembling in worriedness. The fear of losing another loved one envelope her.
"Mom, don't cry. I promise I'll bring Tom back safe and sound." Leo caresses his mother's back. "It is my job to protect Tom and you, Mom. Yet I failed to do so." Leo was furious at himself. The fact that he was having fun in another world while he left his brother alone. "I owe you, everything Mom." The life she gave Leo, he considered it as a lifetime blessing from her.
His mother shook his head, "no, Leo, it's you and Tom whom I owe everything." She smiled a smile that looks so sweet and pure. "You two didn't wish to be born in this cruel world. It's us, your father and I wished to have children. You two fulfilled our wish, so you don't owe us anything because it's you two whom we owe everything."
All those emotions that Leo thought he had lost were all coming back to him. He was having a surge of emotions inside him upon hearing his mother. "Mom, thank you. Thank you." All those pent-up tears were once again dripping down his face.
"There, there, just let all those tears out. It will help you with the pain. I'm sorry, I've passed down all of the burdens to you."

There are only two days left before the International Tournament begins. Not all participants were training themselves to improve. Some were having it easy, just like Leo. He was out having lunch with his mother and the others. Jegudiel invited him after hearing what he had done.
"I've already talked to all of the doctors and nurses who came to your mother's aid. There's nothing to worry about now."
"Thanks, Chairman."

Leo spent the rest of his off days with his mother. He didn't leave her side. He talked about a lot of things that had happened to him whenever he was out hunting. She asked about a lot of stuff also his love life.
"There's a particular someone I'm interested in. Annie is so caring and kind. She helped through a lot of struggles and hardships."
Her mouth arched up. "She sounds like good wife material. I hope to meet her soon."

All of the remaining Destroyer had gathered around the round table. One of the Destroyer had fallen to Leo's hand, so there was a spot left open.
"The stage has been set. We will launch our forces to these puny humans on the day of the International Tournament."
"Count me out. I want a one-on-one talk with Death." Even if Molazar was uncooperative, he's still the most powerful Destroyer among them. The others know that they should just leave him be and let him do it his way. "I'll be the one who will kill Death with his brother's hands!"
The UHA or the United Hunter's Association was the one behind the International Tournament. They spent millions of dollars on creating the tournament's stage. The stage was constructed in the middle of the sea in the pacific ocean. Only those who can afford a cruise ship ticket can watch the fights live, except for the participants' family members. They can bring anyone along with them.
"Are you ready?" Jegudiel asked. He was with his secretary.
"Yeah, let's get going already."
They packed seven days worth of change of clothes. The tournament will last for a week because there are too many participants. Little do they know what awaits all of them on the day of the competition.
