It was now proven that no attacks were effective on those bubbles. The unseemly Cetus, kept on using its skill, almost filling up the whole arena. Their movements were limited, trying to avoid touching the bubbles, whilst Cetus could freely move around.

They found it hard for them, it's not just Cetus who's dangerous but also the bubbles floating around them.

Cetus can easily attack them whenever it wants, and so it did. It first attack Evan who was the nearest from it.

"Shit! It's coming!"

He can't dodge Cetus, not with all those bubbles. With its large legs and sharp claws, Cetus skewered Evan using its claw, Evan tried to avoid having his vitals pierced. He was struggling so much in order to break loose from being impaled. He felt the pain all over his body, as Cetus shook him off its impalement. When it couldn't took him out of its long, sharp fingernails, Cetus, spread open its broad mouth.. Its trenchant, protruding tooth sank into Evan's body as Cetus bit his left flank. Blood came flowing out of his body and mouth.

Leo and Tom wanted to save him but they can't carelessly move or else, the bubbles will hit and drain them to death. All they could do is to watch as it continued on chewing Evan's dead body. (God, I did him bad)

Evan was in so much pain before he died, he wantes to, but he couldn't scream his pain out.

Some of them chose not to look whilst the others didn't flinch any muscle.

Tom couldn't stopped his emotions and let himself cry his eyes out. It wasn't that long since they met him but, one could get attach to anyone so easily. He had considered him as his friend, for him to die like this... was a pain in his heart.

As for Leo, he and Evan sometimes argue about little things, some misunderstandings, some things they couldn't agree with each other. But, he knew himself, that, he's a good guy. So, that's why he won't cry and mourn for him, but will fight for him. Leo, thought that he's losing his emotions bit by bit, as his power grew stronger. However, he had proved it to himself that, he's still him, he hasn't lose his self, yet.

Cetus had leave nothing, even his clothes were eaten by it.

Leo can't get more enraged than he is already. Actually, there's something he wanted to do earlier, but couldn't because his attention was focused on what was happening.

He used his skill 'Cloak and 'Hotfoot'. He leisurely hoisted his right foot, until he couldn't raised it anymore. He gritted his teeth, showing his anger and he slammed his foot down the floor with so much force. The ground, where he stood, breaking, was the evidence how much power he had put in it.

He picked up the floors debris, and broke it into small pieces, the size of a marble. This was the way he came off, throwing small rocks to those bubbles and reduced its numbers.

Cetus could barely sensed him due to his skill 'Cloak'.

"Good thing I picked up another sword! Just in case!"

He took it out and threw the small rocks head on where Cetus was.

[Enemy's stats are higher than yours, activating skill, acceleration]

'Good, this is what I just want'

The small rocks he'd thrown have began bubbling up into the air. The bubbles from his way were reduced in numbers. All he need to do is run and attack Cetus, but of course, it wouldn't be that easy. Cetus would fight back, so it releases water bubbles once again. Leo, brought a handful of small rocks, he predicted Cetus would do it again.

Leo threw those rocks in his hand, giving himself a way out of the predicament. Tom had just finished crying and saw what his brother did and tried to do the same.

The bubbles with rocks inside were scattered all over the place, and when Leo threw the second handful of rocks. Some hit those bubbles with rocks, it popped and to their surprise, the bubbles holding rocks never bubbled up again.

"So that's it huh!? We're very careful for nothing huh!"

Cetus' skin wasn't that tough, Leo's sword had easily cut through its body when he sliced its arms down.

Just like Evan when he was impaled, Cetus was squirming in pain. It was rolling side to side, trying everything to relieve the pain.

[Enemy using skill 'Immortality'. All injuries are now recovering]

It severed arms turned into dust until there's no trace of it. Cetus had stopped rolling of the floor squirming (ROFS, lol hahahaha)

"No way! That's fucking cheating!"

Cetus' arms were intact once again, there were no signs of it being cut. All was healed and dealt.

With all that time given to Tom, he managed to dug out a small portion of the floor and turned it into small debris.

'Come to think of it...' the thought of his skill just crossed his mind now.

Tom has a skill called 'Cold Meteoricstone' and even the item he got as a reward has a skill slot than can store a skill after being targeted by one's skill.

He used his skill and the rocks he piled up at the same time. Aiming it all to where Cetus is. His skill had cleared out the Water Bubbles slowly floating everywhere the stage. It was an effective move he pulled, the bubbles, popped by his skill didn't formed. They can freely move now if Tom would keep on using his skill and throwing the small rocks. But, MP is limited and so is the small rocks he has. Cetus wouldn't stop on creating more bubbles and filled up the whole arena once again.

The skill had reached and hits Cetus. At first it hinders Cetus' movements, for a mere three seconds and then...

[Enemy resistance's too high. Skill nullified]

'As I thought, It wouldn't easily go down with just that simple skill, certainly.' Tom checked all of his item.

'Alright, I totally forgot I have another skill stored inside this item!' He looked through the item, inspecting what's inside. Everything's going their way, he thought to himself. He let out a grin knowing that they could finally beat Cetus.

"Big brother, I think we might have a way to win this!" He exclaimed, Leo was fighting Cetus face to face. He's damaging it, but unfortunately, its skill 'Immortality' was on Leo's way, it just kept on healing and recovering itself.

He backed off for a second when he heard Tom.

"Really!? What is it?"

"Come here big brother and I'll tell you"

He was gonna come over to Tom, when he noticed that the katana he had was lying on the floor. He picked it up and hold it with his other hand as he was holding another sword.

"Okay, so what is it that?" Tom doesn't know if Cetus could understand them or not. So he chose to whisper what he was going to say to his brother.

"In Greek mythology, Medusa can kill Cetus by using her petrification, but we don't have Medusa here and that's what you're thinking" Tom smiled at his brother and Leo smiled back at him.

Whilst they were talking, of course Cetus won't just sit back and do nothing. With some of the bubbles gone, this gives them more space to move. So, Cetus filled it in again.

"Oh no! That bastard's at it again. Big brother you throw these small rocks. I'll use my skill to rid some of those! I'll explain everything to you while we do that!"

Leo picked up the remaining small rocks and Tom cast off his skill everywhere.

"Medusa, in other mythology were depicted as Sun. So, basically, we have to bathe Cetus in sunlight for us to defeat it and remember that Priest looking mage, who uses sunlight as his skills? Luckily, my item here stored one of his skill"

Cetus wouldn't stop on releasing its Water Bubbles not until Leo and Tom ran out of small rocks and MP.

"Big brother! I'm out of MP, it's tiring me out!"

Leo opened the store and bought Tom some MP potions to recover. He also made small rocks again as his runs out.

"Here" He tossed the bottles of MP potion to Tom. "Drink it and you'll regain your MP"

Cetus might have noticed that there would be no stop to what Leo and Tom were doing. So, it was the first one to stopped releasing Water Bubbles and chose to attack Tom first,

"Not my brother, you bastard!" Leo blocked Cetus and stood on its way.

Tom supported him by clearing his brother's way with his skill.

Cetus uses its mouth to attack the man standing in front of him. It wants to swallow him whole, but couldn't. Leo used his katana and other sword to blocked and attack at the same time. His katana placed inside its mouth as for the the other one, he used it to cut off Cetus' arm for it will attack him.

Here's the reason why, when I started writing this story, I had just finished reading the light novel, and was so enthralled by it. So, I tried writing something similar, but it turns out I was just copying it, and with that I'm sorry. And now, I'm trying to change it little by little. The last is about the grammar, I'm sorry if it's somewhat bad or what, I hardly studied English when I was still attending school. Some may know or knew already, I'm a Filipino, a proud one.
