Outcast Hunter

Leo's aimlessly wandering had brought him to a slave shop. It was on a secluded area in the Human Nation. There were thugs -looking humans, scattered around the area.

The group the thugs had blocked his path inside the slave shop.

The thugs grinned as they blocked Leo's path.

"Hey, mister! Where's your human pass?"

'Why? Is entering this shop, requires a human pass?'

"I'm afraid I can't show it to you guys, for I have forgot it back in my house"

Their brows arched up, grits their teeth and ranted about not having his human pass.

Huh?! Then get it first then come back here!"

They were shooing him away of the area..

'I guess I need to do this in a stealthy way'

He leaved the are first and observed first, Leo's watching them from the shops' roof.

'Cloak'

"Hey, took over here for a second, I'm gonna take a leak. I'll be quick!"

"You're just gonna slack off!"

"Gahahahaja!"

'All right. This will be easy'

He jumped out of the roof and made no noise. He went on their blind spots and quickly slipped inside.

'Whoo. I can sense humans and others that has a mixed scent'

He went deep inside the slave shop and looked for the shopkeeper.

"Hmm? Oh, it seems that I have a customer. I'll meet him"

The shopkeeper went outside of a room and met with Leo, who's looking around the shop.

The interior of the shop is like a normal house. With paintings and other decorations all over the walls.

"Well, well, who do we have here?

His humble tone was a soothing feeling for Leo. His voice's perfect for doing this kind of job, sale's talk.

Leo had already sensed him coming.

"Uh, is this a slave shop?"

"Yes. I can assume that you're here for a slave? If so, let's have a talk inside and show you our finest slaves"

They went where the shopkeeper came from. He offered a seat and some tea. He told his maid to bring out the slaves.

'He didn't even let me talk'

"Are they demi-humans?"

They both took a sip. The taste of the tea was like a coffee. It's so bitter, Leo almost spurts it out.

"Yes, they are demi-humans that are sold to us, because of being an orphan, or have a large amount of debt"

The door opened and the demi-human girls, along with the maid, entered the room.

'Half-cat, half-fox, half-dog and a half-rabbit'

The cat's a short ears, sticking out of its head. And she looks like a kid. The fox looks like she had a lot of experience in life. The dog's a bit manly, so a no-go for him. The rabbit has long ears and furry, it also looks fluffy.

"Ahh, Mr. Shopkeeper, I might not have the budget to pay for a slave. I only have a few Plata"

"You can call me Rev"

Rev isn't a type of person who'll judge someone based on how he looks. He's an accommodating person who'll entertain any customer that are looking for a slave, even though it is a pain.

"The lowest price of our slaves is at 500 Plata, the highest is 1500 Plata"

'500 pure Plata... I wonder how much the half-cat is'

"I see, then what about her" pointing at the half-cat demi-human.

The shopkeeper's quite surprised, that Leo asked for the little girl.

"Sir"

"Leo, my name's Leo"

The shopkeeper cleared his throat.

"Sir Leo, I'm afraid the half-cat will be unable to satiate your desire"

'Huh? Huh?!'

"No, no, no, that's not what I'm here for, looking for a slave"

Leo cleared the misunderstanding and explained why he'd chosen the half-cat.

""I'm just taking pity on the little girl for being sold at a slave shop. That's why I chose her"

The maid was quietly laughing herself. Leo noticed her and the maid averted her gaze.

The shopkeeper were smiling too.

"Uh, sir Leo, our little girl here, she's 18 years old and is the oldest of the four"

'Wh-what?! She's 18?! Tel me they are kidding!'

Leo could feel their emotions. The other three were laughing on the inside, whilst the half-cat's angry about what he's been saying.

The shopkeeper told the maid to bring back the other three to their rooms, leaving the half-cat behind.

"About her real price is about 600 Plata, but because this is your first time buying a slave, I'll give her for 500"

'I bet that is her real price. He just added a hundred and made it look like he's given me a cut'

"But, I only have 10 pure Plata. I'm afraid I can't buy her"

"That isn't a problem sir Leo. She'll be here anytime. You can hit he dungeon and made money, that's it"

'Wait, they have dungeon here too? Well, it's not much of a surprise, this is another world, after all'

Leo finished his tea, so is Rev.

"Then, I'll come back, when I have the Plata"

Leo stood up from his seat.

"Then, I'll wait for your return, sir Leo"

Rev offered to escort him outside, but Leo refuses.

He leaved the room and the shop. He bid goodbyes to the thugs that are guarding the shop.

"What, when did he?!"

They rendezvous back at the ninjas' base. Kenkage and the others aren't back yet and there's still have a lot of time before nigh time hits.

He went outside to take a breather. Upon wandering aimlessly, he stumbled upon a lake. The water's clear as crystal and you could see the fishes. However, the fishes are not anything like the fish from Earth.

They look scary for Leo to eat. He just watched them and paddling in the water.

The leaves rustles and the wind blows. It was a breezy sunset for Leo.

He let out a deep sighed and laid on his back on the cool grass. The sun set so fast and night time envelopes the whole town.

Leo sensed that the others were back. He stood up and went inside to ask for more information.

"Leo, you enjoyed the Town?"

Asked Kenkage. The four had more companies. There are 10 of them now. They are the other groups, that Kenkage splits up for a different job.

"I think so..."

The ninjas' group had stolen quite a lot. They were arranging the items, separating Plata from items and weapons.

"So he's the guy who beat you brother?"

"Yeah, his name's Leo. He came from far far away from here"

They exchanged glances and greetings to each others.

"We four will be accompanying him to the Kingdom of Fallonia. He said he wants to join the raid team for the Kingdom of Warlock expedition"

"Ehh... really? Then, Leo must be really strong if he's going to Kingdom of Warlock"

"Good luck!"

"Thanks"

Leo finally had the time to talk to Kenkage, after their dinner. The others were already asleep and were snoring loudly.

"Kenkage, can you tell me more about the dungeons and how can I earn more Plata"

Kenkage, he was sharpening his sword. Maintaining its sharpness is a mist for him.

"There are five levels, inside the dungeon. Level one is where weak beasts are and the level 5, there's a ancient boss that if slew, you'll be rewarded with a large amount of money. But, I suggest you don't fight that Boss, it's so powerful, it had already killed hundreds of humans and Predators who tried to take its head"

"Have you seen it?"

Kenkage checked if the sharpness was fine, and when it was about right, he stopped what he was doing and sheathed it back.

"All of humans and Predators who have seen it, they never came back"

"That's making things more exciting"

"Wha- didn't you hear what I said? Even if you have an unparalleled speed and quite tricky, you won't be able to kill it with that alone!"

Even if he was thinking of Leo dying onside the dungeon, he's still somewhat worried that he'd do something stupid.

"I'm going to sleep"

Leo's fired up to have a look and fight that ancient monsters that had killed hundreds of humans and Predators, who dares tried to kill it.

Leo was the first one to woke up. They are leaving the Kingdom of Quinn in two days. The Predators' main guild is at the Town of Astra, in the Kingdom of Fallonia.

'I have two days to earn 500 Plata. I hope that those two days give me that much'

He's taken a bath on the lake he saw yesterday. The water was cold and it felt good on his skin. He washed his clothes and wore his spare change of clothes.

"Okay time to hit the dungeon, again!"

The dungeon was located at Mountain of Lost, not too far from the

Leo walked and arrived at he.dungeon gate. There's a man standing in front of it. Other humans were there. They are giving him what looks like Plata

"20 raw Plata, fee for entering the dungeon. Plus 10 if you're going at level 2, plus 30 if you're going to level 3, plus 1 pure Plata, if you're going to level 4 and 3 pure Plata for level 5"

Leo gave 20 raw Plata and entered the dungeon. He's having a look first at level. How and what the interior is like. If it's any different than the dungeon he's always been to.

'Hmmm...it's just the same. The only different thing is, the secret doors which contains a horde of monsters or a treasure.

There's also a room, where both exist. The monsters guarding the treasure.

'I have a keen senses. I should be able to sense the whole level 1"

Leo cleared his mind and focused his attention on his senses.

'There's monsters up ahead this path. Also, there's a room full of monsters and that is...'

He sensed magic coming from the treasure chest. It was inside a room where monsters are inside too.

He has also sensed where the boss is.

"Okay, time to hunt"

Leo brought out his sword and waked ahead.

[Black Rabbit]

[Can be sold for 1 Plata if captured alive. And 50 raw Plata if dead.]

"Is the system up now? It"s giving me detailed information again"

He checked but, the system was still not up and were making static noises.

"Okay, let's capture them alive"

The black rabbit were jumping around. When it sensed him, the black rabbit gritted its protruding teeth and move violently.

'I know that this is bot a normal rabbit but, it's something that they can move faster than a normal human could'

There were two of the black rabbit moving around the dungeon. They weren't easy to predict, since their.movements has no pattern and was moving inconsistently.

"Riiihh! Rioihh!"

The two black rabbits attacked from both sides. Leo dodged lightly and tried to grabbed them to its ears. But they moved faster than he had expected.

'So close. Okay, lemme try again'

Leo closed his eyes to become more focused and more sensitive of his surroundings.

'I could hear and feel them. Every leaped and jumped they made, I can hear it all'

"Riiihh!"

That acts as a sign that the black rabbits are gonna attack. Leo waited for that moment and carefully listen.

One of the rabbit came from above and one's from behind.

"Got you two now"

He caught the black rabbit behind him first, grabbing it from its neck. He then, caught the other one and grabbed its ears.

"Riihhh!"

"Riihh!"

[Do you want to store this inside your inventory? Yes or No]

'I could store them alive? Then, yes please!'

His inventory has no limitations. He can restore any amount of things he wants. But, large things are not allowed to be stored inside.

"That made things more easier for me"

Leo went to get the treasure he had sensed earlier. There's roughly around 10 monsters inside.

"I'd like to capture them all alive but, it would be a pain. I'll need to use.this"

His sword's skill can't affect others that has no life. It will just pierced through a wall until it dispersed.

"This here is about fine"

He positioned himself where he could hit the black rabbits in one go.

He pulled his sword back, swung it and releases the skill.

"Riihh? Riiihhh!"

In one swept, the black rabbit were all dead. What's left of the rabbits were their souls and meat, that drops when they are killed, not captured.

"Whoo, time to collect the drops and the treasure'

He reaped their souls and collected the black rabbits' meat.

"Done with the meats and souls, time for the main course"

It was a small treasure chest, lying on the floor. Leo nodded and opened the treasure chest.

"This is... a rune skill?!"
