Outcast Hunter

The sun was at its peak. The sunlight's a burning sensation when it touches their skins. They speed up their pace and they finally arrived in the castle, where hundreds of demons were waiting and were so eager and impatient for their arrival.

Leo's group march in to the wide field of the castle and prepared themselves for the upcoming battle.

"This is more intense than what I was expecting!" Said Kin.

"I can't believe we will be fighting demons, in humongous number" said Gin.

"Prepare yourself for the worst" said Mist., who don't usually talk and aloof.

On the other side of the field, Acting Leader Wiriam, he was sitting in a chair and was waiting for Leo's group to arrive. He's been waiting for them, when news about their fellow demons came in.. He even neglected his quality time with his beloved wife. She was standing beside him and was brushing his hair, using her fingers.

"You're feeling excited about this" said his wife

The grinning from his face never change. He's been like that when he finally sensed Leo's presence from afar.

He looked up to her, "who wouldn't get excited from this, Martha? That man" pointing his finger to Leo. "He's the one who killed our Demon Lord"

She stopped combing his hair and looked at Leo's direction, where the man was standing still.

"Did he? But, he looks normal"

She's not raised to fight and make her a potential fighter, or something of the sort. So, that's why she could not sense it from Leo.

"Someone who looks normal and weak to everyone's eye is what's more terrifying and powerful. We are just demons. No one's given authority to judge someone"

He stood up, placed his hand in the metal fence. He's at his castle's veranda. Martha won't leave his side.

"Only He has the right to judge his creation. When we judge someone, we make a sin. And for Him, what we did was like, giving an opinion to His creation"

Nevertheless, don't judge a book by its cover, as the saying goes.

Acting Leader Wiriam called out to his assistant. He immediately respond to his leader's command and went to the army of demons.

"Demob guards and civilians, who are willing to fight for our Nation" he exclaimed, getting their attentions. "Our leader, Wiriam, he gave us the orders to march and fight the humans!"

There was a loud roar, coming from the demons. They raised their weapons and pounded their shields hard.

"I'm OP, I can eliminate all of them using my triple S, if I wanted"

Leo muttered to himself, confidently speaking.

"They are about to engage"

The demons march forward.

Leo felt no pity towards them, but hatred instead. They came on their own volition and chose the path of fighting him.

Leo stepped forward, "let me reduce their number" he took his sword out and cast his skill.

'Soul Splitting Strike'

Leo swung his sword horizontally and watched his skill rapidly flew towards the geared up demons.

"He made an attack! First line blocking the attack!"

The first line of the army had raised their shields and waited for the skill to reach them.

"Hey, that looks bad news"

"Are you sure the front line can hold out?"

They doubted themselves, but they did not waver and remained firm.

"It's coming! Be sure to fend it off!"

The skill reached the front line. The demons gritted their teeth and tightened their grip to their shield. They closed their eyes and when they felt nothing from their shield, they opened their eyes and saw that the attack had went through their shield and it swiftly went through them too and the line behind them, on and on.

"What's happening?! Duck! Dodge the attack!"

The very last line of demons shouted those words when they realized that blocking it was futile.

It was too late for the others to crouch or evade the skill from Leo. It went in a swift, that split seconds had killed and split their souls into two.

Wiriam, Martha, and his assistant witnessed their demon forces went dead in an instant. Their number, it has no more than 20 percent left and some of the demons had lost their will to fight.

"No" Wiriam's assistant felt his knees weakened and sat on ground. "It's all over now. We're all done!"

His name is Welg. The order of having his fellow demons fight Leo's group, he's against it. He never wanted any of it. What he wants was peace and prosperity for his fellow demons. But, what can he do? He's just a mere assistant of the leader of the demons. He only relay his orders, his words.

His heart felt crushed and he was in an excruciating pain. "Does he felt any remorse?" He thought to himself.

Martha also felt sad for fellow demons' fall. Her first impression about Leo had drastically changed.

"What a terrifying skill"

It was not sorrow and pain what Wiriam felt, but fascination towards Leo. He jumped down from the veranda to the ground. Martha was a little startled and soon took the stairs to follow her beloved husband.

Wiriam helped Welg stood up and he told him to stop Martha from coming to the battlefield. He don't want her getting hurt because of him. He also told his guards to go home, they will just waste their lives. The fun had already ended.

"If you guards dies, there's no demons left who will fight for their Nation"

Even if they still wanted to fight alongside him, they know their limits and they are not stupid enough to throw their lives away.

"My death will set this Nation free and will be reborn anew!"

He muster up his courage and didn't let his fear get the better of him. It was faint when he was in the castle, but, now that he's walking towards him, he's slowly starting to realize it.

"I'm no match for him" he muttered to himself. "I knew now why Lord Abaddon has been killed by this man"

He grinned for the last time and unsheathed his sword. He pointed it towards Leo and leaped to their direction. He took few steps to finally close in the gap.

"It's my pleasure to meet my Lord's"

He cut himself short and bowed his head.

"I don't have time for this. Let's get on with it already"

Leo took a few steps towards Wiriam. His eyes on fire and had set his heart ablaze.

'Ignition'

One of the skills Aophy used when she fought all 10 Predators inside the dungeon. Your body will be envelop in blue flames, healing and enhancing one's abilities and capabilities.

"My pervert master's a cheater. He copied my skill!"

Who would not recognize their own skill? She turned into a phoenix and looked for a shade to cover herself from the scorching heat of the sun.

The others do not care about the heat and just stand quietly and wait for what will happen to what they see.

"You've became more scary... and, fascinating! I guess, I should also do the same"

He dug from his pocket and brought out a demon pill, the one Abaddon's general took to lose his shit and gets buffed.

He crushed the pill with his teeth and the effect immediately kicked in.

"There's no turning back once a demon take a pill"

He explained. His veins bulgy and his voice cracking.

'Cloak-and-Dagger'

Leo turned invisible. He ran circle and waited for his enemy to finish buffing up. It finished and began looking around like a wild animal that got freed after a very long time.

Wiriam has lost his mind and was just acting based on his senses. He went straight for Kenkage's group swinging his sword around.

Leo was behind him, so he speed up to the running wild animal, who's at his full speed.

"He's coming to our way"

Leo caught up in a swift and slashed down, aiming at its head. It went in a loud clang. He anticipated and blocked Leo's attack from above him. He looked up and snarled.

Leo leaped back. He's a little surprise when Wiriam's sword didn't break, nor put even a strain to it. Leo became visible and has one left critical strike. The skill still has 5 seconds cooldown.

Someone who has lost his shit and was just acting based on his instincts would attack anyone, who came in contact and anyone who moves an inch.

That's why, when Leo leaped back, Wiriam was able to quickly followed him and swing his sword to Leo's direction.

Leo parried all the attacks and attacked him at the same time. Staying sane's still better than going mad.

He's swinging, slashing, striking, thrusting and blocking using his sword. He's even punching and kicking Leo, just to hit and even using his head.

Martha could not keep her eyes in the battle. It was too one-sided for her. She thought at first that his husband might have a chance when he pulled out a pill and it also pains her, because she knew how the pills works.

She had lost all her hope. She was sobbing on Welg's body. He stopped her from running towards the fight, for she would not be recognized by her husband.

Leo pulled a punch. Wiriam jumped up, he immediately stood up and became even more insane and more fierce. His spit spurts everywhere when he snarled and growl like a wild beast.

That's the effect of the demon pill. Only 1 percent of demons could contain themselves and remain sane after taking a pill.

Wiriam threw his sword towards Leo and he strode swiftly when Leo dodged his attack. He jerked his right arm and went straight for Leo's face.

He tilted his head, grazing his face. When it didn't hit, Wiriam clenched his fist tighter and swung it to Leo. Though not powerful enough, Leo felt the pain as it hits him. But, that scene did not end with just that, Leo reciprocated dealing a powerful one.

It puts a lot of stress on Wiriam, making its heart beat faster and his movements troubled ny its side effects and it looks like time's running up.

"You look pathetic. You're at least decent when you still have your mind"

Wiriam was staggering on his feet and had lost his speed.

"Let me purge you, to free you from such state"

It was not a snarl or a growl or anything that shows how much he had lost his mind. It was a wide grin before his head cut off and eventually fall into the ground.

Martha burst into tears one more time and have her heart broken for the last time.
