"You're awake!"

Priscilla rushed over to Leo's side. She has tray full of foods from the kitchen. She personally cooked the dishes she had made for him.

Leo leaned his back and picked up the tray of food that was placed on the bed side table. The tray contains of hot soup with egg in it. Some veggies and other food he'd just seen for the first time.

"Are your wound all right now?"

She's worried and Leo knows about it. He does not want her to worry anymore, so he gave her a smile and showed his muscles. His wound's all healed up. He's feeling really really fine that time..

Fighting the damn monster really tired him out. All the food Priscilla brought him was not enough. Leo became a glutton whenever he reached his limit.

"You should eat too Priscilla. By the way, how long have I been asleep?"

She just got back from bringing more food. About the fifth tray of food.

"I already ate. It's you who needs to eat." She pulled a chair and sat down. "What happened back then, do you remember it?"

His mind tried to recall what happened afterwards. However, it was all futile. So he had to ask her.

"What happened?"

'How the hell can she make something so good, just from a few ingredients?'

She cleared her throat, straightened up and close her eyes and then opened it. Took a glance at the moon that became red because of the different weather their Kingdom does.

"After you got stabbed and fell to the ground, I thought that it was the end for you. Then, I saw Kratos, he was not moving or even trying to. I was scared at that time to check what happened, so I watched you two from a distance. I really thought that you were done for. But, that's when Kratos' starts acting up. He began going wilder and he was trying to rip his chest, like he was trying to remove something from inside him."

"My skill?!"

She nodded and continued: "It was like he's out of his mind. His modified arm, he used it to rip through his skin and he tried to reach out inside him. Then he stopped and screamed his lungs out. Even his sewn mouth got free from all his screaming. And then, just like that, he fell and there was no signs that he was still alive."

"Did you guys checked what happened to him?" He had just finished his fifth tray.

She nodded again. Leo rose from the bed and stood beside the window. Leo could hear all of it, the sound of the people celebrating after the big event that had happened that afternoon.

"They say that his soul was burned. That's all they said."

'So, that's what it does?! Mana Pool skill does burn souls?! Then, there's a time limit on how it would activate. Yes, yes, that's the only explanation I could come up with, right now. I'll think about it later, if I ever use it again'
