Outcast Hunter

Leo's been fully recovered. He was inside the King's palace. He was given anything he needs.

As for the Scavenger Hunt's result. Priscilla and Leo both failed to complete the task. Unfortunately. There was good and bad news. The bad news were the two did not pass. And the good news were both of them were being scouted right now by the Predators leader.

"Alexander leader! What are you saying?! We can't just accept anyone to our group!"

He's his right-hand man. The one that was against them, joining the Predators..

"Didn't you watch their fight yesterday, Ren?"

"I watched it but, still, their win might be a fluke!"

'I understand his concern. He don't want his position getting taken away from him. Yes, yes, I won't take it from you'

The leader then proposed a fight a between the two. It was to acknowledge Leo's abilities and to let him join the Predators. Normal citizen weren't allowed to cross the border of Fallonia into the Kingdom of Warlock.

"Why don't you test him yourself? Find out for yourself, if their win against the monster were a fluke."

"Then let's go outside."

They were currently inside the palace. Four of the Predators went to scout Leo. My bad, Priscilla got permission from the King. She can join the expedition.

Everyone went outside, including the King and the Queen. They want to see how it goes.

It was an open area near the palace where Priscilla used to play when she was little.

"Come at me anytime you want."

Ren took out his sword and put on his equipments. Leo borrowed a sword from Ron's comrade and test it if it's too heavy or too light for him.

"Have mercy on me."

"Hey, don't go breaking my sword!" She's one of Alexander's comrade. Elegantly beautiful.

Leo smirked at her and replied: "Rest assured"

'It's not your sword who's going to break, but him, keke'

Both of them were ready. Leo did no stance and it made the spectators a bit confused.

'Does he have a different sword style?'

Ren was the first one to make the first move. He dashed towards Leo. He quickly closed the gap between the two of them.

Leo took a few steps away. Ren followed, he's eager to land the first attack.

'He sure is persistent. Well, that's how I want things to go.'

Ren muttered something to himself. Then, all of a sudden, his speed increased. He made another dashed and swung his sword to Leo.

Leo anticipated his attack, blocking his sword that was aimed for his enemy's neck.

'This bastard was serious about slicing my neck.'

Ren leaped back and muttered something: "I'll get you with my next attack."

Leo used his Cloak-and-Dagger, so he disappeared. Ren looked all over the place, trying to find Leo. Then he closed his eyes and he began using his senses, instincts, to detect Leo's position.

Ren cast another skill, charged it up and releases the skill. His sword extended and it slashes everything inside his range. He does not know where Leo was up until his sword's range increased and Leo was detected.

He parried all of Ren's attack and it kept him occupied. Ren's attack stopped. And then, he popped up in front of Leo.

"Not so fast."

Leo had his left hand clenched and it came flying to where Ren had popped in. Ren had put all his weight to his next attack, though he was still able to use his sword to blocked Leo's fist.

Had he not done that, he would have been down. He was pushed back a little. He grinned behind his sword that was half-covering his face.

Leo had used his skill 'Ghost' leaving behind his clone. His speed increased. Cloak-and-Dagger had cooled down. He also used it.

He's invisible and faster. He was running circle, making thud noises to catch Ren's attention.

"That guy's toying with Ren."

"Yeah..."

'He's fast, when he make noise, he'll be on another spot already whenever I tried to look at him. And, not just that, his speed, it's increasing!'

Leo jumped at a height and waited for himself to fall down. He dive from the gushing wind. Everyone looked up, Ren also.

"How foolish! You can't dodge in mid-air!" Ren exclaimed.

'Heart Piercer'

Ren cast his skill, completely forgetting about the clone, Leo had leaved behind.

"This concludes this spar."

Ren thrust his sword directly to the falling Leo.

"It's Ren's win." said the girl where Leo borrowed the sword.

Ren's sword grew and extended as it pierced the sky. Everyone held their breath, but not Priscilla, who knew that Leo will not lose. He stepped back and he hit his back with something hard. A sword gently slid to his neck, grazing him.

"I guess this is my win?"
