Overlord: Start from the Goblin Lair

Chapter 212 The destination of the teleportation array

After Ron and his men made some simple preparations, they arrived at the camp site under the leadership of two goblin cubs. The militiamen and scouts guarding there obviously did not notice the disappearance of the two cubs at all. When they saw them coming back from outside, they all showed surprise.

"Sir Ron, what's wrong with you?" A militiaman stepped forward and saluted, "We didn't notice how they ran away!"

"That's not the point," Ron waved his hand, "Go back and get some more people to guard the periphery. We need to go in and do some investigation."

"If we are missing, don't panic, go and notify Kalade to take over all affairs temporarily, understand?"

"Yes! But-"

"No buts."

Ron walked into the empty camp first and soon found the original location of the wooden box. It was covered with canvas, and there were footprints of two goblin cubs on it, covered with mud.

It seems that before being teleported away, they used this place as a trampoline.

"It's related to this place," Ron motioned to Sera to lift the canvas and dig from this position, "Let's see what's buried underground!"

This work was not difficult at all. Sera just dug three or five shovels of soil with force, and the tip of the shovel in his hand touched a hard object, making a slight sound.

"Be careful!" Sylvia leaned over quickly, "It should be stone from the sound!"

With the joint efforts of several people, a gray stone slab finally saw the light of day again, with complex patterns carved on it, and Ron remembered where he had seen these patterns not long ago.

The ability of the weaving preface was activated, and Ron recalled every detail of the monument he had visited before - the pattern on this stone slab was exactly the same as the one there!

"And it's hollow," Driver shrank his head, "Could it be that the other part of the queen is buried here?"

"How is it possible..." Before Ivy finished speaking, the stone slab suddenly hummed, and the lines on it were instantly filled with red light like liquid. Everyone didn't even have time to exclaim, and in a flash, everyone disappeared from the spot.

"Really, really gone!" Several militiamen outside the camp in the distance were startled. They had been watching here, and they had thought that if there was any accident, they could go up to help. But they never expected that all this would happen so quickly. They didn't even react until Ron and others completely disappeared.

"What should we do next?"

"Nonsense, why are you still standing there!" The goblin scout kicked each of them on the calf, "Hurry up! Go find Lord Kalade! What did Lord Ron order just now?!"

Let's not talk about how Kalade received this news, just talk about Ron and others. The sudden dazzling red light almost burned Ron's eyes, followed by a nauseating feeling of weightlessness and dizziness. When he regained his vision and walked out of the black and white vision, the surrounding scene had become extremely unfamiliar.

"It can't be... Fortunately," Ron looked around hurriedly. Beside him, Ivy and others were lying in a mess, "You are all still here."

"What's going on? What happened?" The others turned over and sat up. They were all in good condition, but the dizziness had not subsided, so they couldn't stand for a while.

"How can you stand normally?" Sera looked at Ron in surprise, "I feel like the ground under my feet is about to stand up, and I can't stand at all!"

"Teleportation array, as expected..." Sylvia stroked her forehead, "I just read about the relevant issues in the book: most people who experience teleportation for the first time will have serious adverse reactions. It seems that the benefactor is a special kind."

"If you can move normally, you can walk around and see. There must be a stone slab similar to the one over there as the cornerstone of the array. Through this, we should be able to go back."

Ron raised the Everburning Lamp - the previous candle was placed in the lamp so that he could carry it with him. He illuminated the surrounding environment as he said. On a stone wall a few steps away, he saw another stone slab that was almost carved out of the same mold as the one in the camp.

He reached forward and pressed it after confirming that there was no problem. But there was no response.

"The magic power is exhausted," Ron pulled back his hand and frowned slightly. "The inscription on it shows that it should be able to recharge itself, but I don't know how long it will take to be used again."

Enchantment was not learned in vain. Even if he couldn't create magic items of this level, Ron could still analyze the enchantment effects on known items.

"But this doesn't make sense!" After all, goblins are goblins. Driver's unique solution made him the first one to get rid of the influence of teleportation except Ron. He raised his hands above his head and stood up upside down. "Why were the two little guys teleported to the barn?"

"You still have the nerve to say it! It must be your problem!" Ivy said unhappily, "You said part of the queen, and this teleportation array must have taken this as an instruction...?"

The atmosphere suddenly froze.

If it is true as Ivy said that the teleportation was activated due to Driver's influence, then if Driver said it was related to the remains of the last queen of Faramar, wouldn't they be here now?

From which direction, as a breeze blew, the seemingly disordered holes on the wall began to play a plaintive tune. Everyone's hair stood on end. Even if they still couldn't stand steadily, they rolled and crawled to get their weapons, as if they were facing a great enemy.

"Fortunately, there shouldn't be any enemies coming. It's safe." After a moment, Victoria breathed a sigh of relief and stood up from the ground.

"This looks like a cave. It can't be under the monument, right? In that case, there probably wouldn't be too many undead creatures."

"I don't think so," Sylvia twitched her nose, "Do you remember how you dug out the stone box? If they built such a cave, why would they hastily bury the things they wanted to protect under the bricks of the monument? This obviously doesn't make sense."

"Anyway, the teleportation array can't be used now, so why don't we explore the passage here a little bit? Maybe we can find some clues or even walk out directly."
