Chapter 88 - Catch A Girl

"Prepare a list of all of the physicians from your village and their expertise by the end of this week," Dominic ordered.

"Yes, your highness," Desilva replied, her head staying bowed.

"And to you," Dominic switched from Desilva to Axel, "the same for you too. I want a full list of all the physicians from our kingdom and all their expertise."

"Yes, your highness," Axel replied, "would like the health chart of all the patients that are currently at the camp?"

"Yes, that would be good too," Dominic smiled, "I will try my best in these two days to get my eyesight fixed in order to be able to read all three lists."

"Yes sir," Axel and Desilva replied in unison.

"In the meantime, Axel will have total focus on me and I will remain in this tent, and permit Axel to sleep in this tent with me since I don't want anything distracting him from ensuring my recovery," Dominic continued, "if not tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, I will have my eyesight fixed and may be able to lift my limbs at a minimal. By then, I want a meeting with Feline scheduled."

"Who will be scheduling it sir?" Desilva asked.

"I will need two more people on this personal staff to assist with that, preferably someone from my kingdom who has good connections too and is familiar with making schedules and keeping to it and such," Dominic sighed, "Make sure you know then well and know where their loyalties lie."

"Yes your highness," Axel replied.

"I'd hate to have another Claudia," Dominic muttered under his breath.

"What was that your highness?" Desilva asked.

"I said, call in Litian," Dominic commanded.

"With all the respect, your highness-" Axel began.

"I'd rather you don't say it if you have to reassure me before speaking your mind," Dominic interrupted.

"Ah… y-yes your highness," Axel stuttered in reply.

"I understand your concern but Lieutenant General Litian is not someone to be on guard with," Dominic continued, "she's been through enough with me for me to be able to trust her. I would rather not leave her in the dark of my situation."

Axel gave a short nod in reply.

"Desilva," Dominic called.

"Yes your highness," Desilva promptly replied.

"Keep a close eye on your elders and villagers. I plan on having a meeting with them in these coming months so you need to monitor their movements for me a bit," Dominic asked, "is it too much to ask?"

"Huh?" Desilva muttered, looking up at Dominic, "too much to ask?"

"Yes, can you perform that action? Do you not want to spy on your people?" Dominic asked again, rewording his previous request.

"No… I understood what you meant your highness, it's just…" Desilva muttered her voice trailing off at the end, "I've never been asked that before."

"What was that?" Dominic asked.

"Ah… s-sorry," Desilva nervously stuttered, bowing her head again, "I can do it! I don't mind spying on them at all!!"

"Pfft…" Dominic chuckled, "don't you sound a bit too cheery to spy on your family?"

"I've always been the one spied on, even against my will so I'm glad his highness is granting me the chance to have a bit of payback," Desilva giggled.

"Haha, ok then. Make sure you stay focused on the task though and not have too much fun with things," Dominic laughed lightly.

"Yes your highness," Desilva smiled.

"Desilva you can leave early now to get a head start on your task and Axel you have to stay of course," Dominic ordered.

"Your highness, some of my stuff is in another tent, may I have the permission to lea-"

"You can tell Desilva where you placed your items and she will retrieve it when she comes back after her spying," Dominic interrupted.

"About that, your highness, where am I going to stay?" Desilva asked.

"Huh?"

"Physician Xicheng has a designated to return to which is this tent, but do I?" Desilva explained.

"Oh…" Dominic muttered, his voice trailing off in thought. "Do you have a tent where you can watch over them at a distance?"

Desilva gave it a little thinking and then gave a nod, "yes I do, would you like for me to stay there?"

"Sorry for interrupting your highness, but that might not be the right decision," Axel muttered, his bow deepening as his head pressed into the floor.

"Anothe- why do you think that Axel?" Dominic asked.

"I suppose that Desilva has always stayed in her tent near her village, if she were to change positions suddenly, it might spark some concerns or be seen as suspicious to her people. We don't want to set them on edge suddenly," Axel explained hesitantly, his eyes tightly shut. He was overstepping now and he knew he was certainly going to get punished.

"That's true! Must've slipped my mind, haha," Dominic chuckled in embarrassment, "Desilva shall remain in the housing that she's in currently."

"Yes your highness," Desilva replied with a nod.

"Andddd with that, you are dismissed Desilva. Axel, write down the list of things you need and where they are so that Desilva can retrieve them for you," Dominic sighed.

"Yes your highness," Desilva nodded, her back starting to hurt her from all the bowing she did.

"You can stand up now,"

Dominic listened to the shuffling of Desilva's feet as she started to stand up from her position on the floor.

"AH!" Desilva gasped, her feet slipping on the dusty ground and she fell forward, her body heading straight for Dominic's.

Axel looked up in surprise as she stumbled forward, his eyes analyzing the way she was going to fall. Her fall was a bit close to the bed meaning it will certainly reach Dominic's body, but her head was positioned in the same position as Dominic's meaning-

SWISH

Desilva tightly shut her eyes in anticipation of hitting Dominic and ending her life with that one movement.. She was prepared to have her head chopped off when she felt a strong hand wrap tightly around her waist and break her fall.
