Pokémon: Reborn As Lucas

Previously:

"Oh and I am going to take this.. and this and this."

Barry was in a very good mood as he and Lucas will finally become Pokémon trainer today.

He woke up especially early to pack up his things and have everything prepared to start his journey.

Now:

Maxs mom finally made it to the room. By the time she got there Max got a hold of his emotions even though he could not hide his excitement. So when she arrived she could only see the cheeky smile of her son and did not see any problem at all.

She angrily turned to Barry " Are you playing jokes with me? How come Lucas looks alright ? Do you want to cause trouble?"

Barry who was innocently waiting for his best friend to get better suddenly started to sweat bullets. he hastily answered " No way mam`, he really did not look good please see for youself"

After he said that she casted one last suspicious glance at him and then walked up to Max.

Max who had lost everyone in his family and especially his mom did not really know what to do as she gradually came nearer by every second. He started to panick slightly and dodged his mother by sitting back down on his bed. Then he said " It`s nothing much.. mo.. mom .. I just woke up and still felt really drowzy so I had a bit of a headache."

His reasoning had the effect he wished it would bring as his mother stopped. She was already used to Lucas` behavior of staying up late to read more about Pokémon so she thought nothing much of it.

She turned back around and said while staring to walk down the stairs " Hurry up and get ready. I will make you some breakfast and prepare your backpack. Today is your big day Lucas, you should hurry up and not let Barry wait."

After this Barry followed her down to give him time to dress up and get ready.

Max took this opportunity of finally being alone to digest the information that he could not sort out previously and then went to dress up.

Some key information that he found out about himself is that his birthday was just last week and he is 10 years old, 145cm tall and weighs 35kg . He looks a bit different from what he looks in the game but Max is quite satisfied with his appeareance.

After finishing his for the time being last breakfast with his mother he is stopped before leaving the house. " I have already packed your luggage and you have everything you need. Please take care and call a few times a week or I will feel lonely."

His mother walk up to him and gives him a hug followed up with a kiss on his forehead. Max huggs her back and could feel a huge amount of sadness. He had no family left in his last life and now he is the one that leaves the family. Though not forever he could definetly understand the way she feels.

After leaving her hug he turns around to walk out of the door. After pushing it open he turns his head and says: "I definetly will. Take care of yourself aswell"

While all these things happened since he arrived in this world his strange watch has been constantly blinking and showing notifications which Max has yet to notice.
