Pokémon: Reborn As Lucas

Seeing the worrying look on his new mothers face he came to a new resolution. Once he steps out of this house he will be Lucas. Max was his past and he learned much during his time then but he wants to fully grasp this opportunity to try and move on.

Once he closed the door behind him he was once again astonished by what he saw. The Twinleaf Town he knew was surrounded by trees and there were only 4 houses cramped up in a small place in the town. What he could see however was something else.

He could see tall mountains towering far in the back making a beautiful scenery, way more houses than he expected and also many Pokémon. It was his first time seeing Pokémon and even though he already got a hunch of what the town and Pokémon are like by previously merging with the bodys experience the first experience he himself made was something else.

As he started walking along the path that led him to the direction of, what he could remember of the gained memories, Barrys house he observed the Pokémon that could be seen running around in the fields and flying in the sky.

He could see many groups of different kinds. In contrast to the game where you could only find Pidgeys and Bidoofs in Twinleaf Town he could also see Budews, and Combees aswell as their evolutions which led the pack of Pokémon.

He could also see Ponytas graze in the fields enjoying their time.

It was fascinating to see because Lucas had always only seen the animated version of Pokémon. To see them now in real life showed him that they were actually real like animals. They even had similar characteritics but it was more fancy and they could do special moves.

In his previous life when he trained his dog and cat he always thought it would be cool if they could do something special but because he knew that they could not it which is why he trained them like the police trains their dogs. Very disciplined, strong and agressive when needed but also very cute, loveable and playfull in private.

He managed to build a good balance between them being playfull while on the other hand still being attentive to always be able to protect their family.

While thinkning back to his old pets he keeps walking. After a while he walks by a pond and is hit by a stream of water that drenches him wet.

"What was that??"

Surprised by the sudden change of the situation he falls out of his trail of thoughts and looks to his side where he could see a group of Marills playing around and shooting themself. One of them accidently seems to have missed his target and therefore hit Lucas who was standing in the path of the splash.

The Marill was as surprised as he was and instantly made its way to Lucas.

"Marill.. Marill.. Maaa.. Rill " While gesturing towards the other Marill, it tried to hit, it tried to explain Lucas that it did not want to hit him.

Lucas was a bit overwhelmed by his first contact with a Pokémon. He unconsciously stretched out his hand and patted the little Marill.

Lucas started to pet the Marill. It gave him a weird feeling because he could not really describe how it felt. He only knew that it was amazing and he could not get enough.

He kept going for a few minutes until the Marill finally noticed that Lucas did not seem to be angry. To see if its assumption was correct it tilted its head to look at him.

This little action caused Lucas to smile and he suddenly noticed that he was already at it for so long.

"Ahh.. I am sorry little Marill. I know you did not want to hit me but I could not keep myself from patting you here"

"Ma.. Marill.. Marill" Marill felt really happy when it heard that Lucas was not angry.

Lucas was still smiling and noticed that the other Marills were still playing and waiting for the Marill before him so he decided to send it back while again assuring that he was not angry and that accidents can always happen.

Lucas went back to his journey to Barrys house and did not notice that the little Marill watched him walk away until he could not be seen anymore.

He however was with his thoughts somewhere else. Lucas was excited about his first encounter and already thought about the next thing that will soon happen.

Who will he choose as his starter and how will he build his team in the future. There were so many new questions he had to think about and instead of solving them he kept thinking of new things of what will expect him. He kept on going until he finally reached the door of Barrys house.
