Rebellious Path

Naomi huh? This will be extremely interesting, can't wait to test out her strength. Earlier when there was an accuracy test, she used completely strong earth magic which was amazing, not gonna lie. It was quite unexpected.

Just at the time, a beep sounded and Naomi who had an expressionless face that was extremely cute to look at suddenly disappeared from her spot. She then suddenly appeared in front of me as she sent out a punch.

"Heh!", I chuckled as she was really strong, I could barely see her movements. But, that didn't mean, I can't follow her movements. Well, time to start. I then grabbed her fist, but then she suddenly launched her body upward making her hand as a stand and grabbed my head tightly as she threw me.

I didn't really look at her battle but it seemed that she was going extremely easy on her enemies as the others were shocked. Well, that doesn't mean I'll lose. I then smiled widely as I twisted my body and landed on the ground like a frog as I jumped to her.

I then sent out a fist as Naomi stomped her foot on the ground causing a shield made of earth magic to appear. I only grabbed it tightly as I maneuvered through it and this time sent out a kick.

Naomi then clicked her fingers causing earth gauntlets to appear as she sent out a punch. And not gonna lie, her punch was strong completely throwing me away despite also using a shield. She was strong.

The teachers then had an amazed expression as they based their strengths in the hero rankings. There were nine ranks with the weakest being Bronze as the strongest is Adamantite.

'Their attacks seemed stronger than a gold rank, so their Zenith Grade must be at 6.5 which was extremely strong. It was not normal to have a Grade of 6.5 immediately, but in fact, the normal Grade is only 3 and that is already tons stronger than a normal person. But they completely defied that, they're extremely strong.'

They all thought of the same thing that makes someone question if they are using mental contact. Though, we continued with our fight as I punched the earth shield while I hand was covered with extreme flames.

Without double thinking, I melted the earth shield turning it to lava as I controlled it via earth magic and fire magic. So it was basically dual casting. I then sent out the lava to Naomi which she completely ignored as she turned it to obsidian with extremely cold water.

'So she can use earth and water magic eh? What else?', I thought of what element she could use as it was important to create a strategy against a strong opponent. That means you also have to have information about the enemy.

I then landed on the ground and punch the ground strongly causing cracks to appear as earth pillars we're created. I then sliced the pillars with my hand and created handles for each as I made to giant batons. I then slammed the earth pillar to Naomi causing her to slightly kneel and her eyes were filled with shock and amazement.

Her eyes were clearly smiling but her face wasn't. She then made the pillars crumble with her own magic as she started to make an ice cage and trapped me inside as I thought, 'Earth, Water, and Ice.'

The battle was only beginning and it wouldn't end so quickly, but the others already ended and switched places to see who sits on top. Naomi was different from the others. She was the only one who could fight me this long.

Of course, that made me happy seeing someone as strong as me. I then made a 360 turn back to my position but this time flames appeared as it started to get hotter and hotter melting the ice completely.

Water or ice might be able to beta fire but the stronger the fire, the water will lose. It will turn into vapor or completely evaporate. I then made swords made of fire and threw it to Naomi. This caused her eyes to show anxiety. It seemed as if she couldn't use fire as she saw that her ice cage melted her eyes showed signs of worry.

She then only had a choice to dodge. She then lifted her arms causing a wall made of earth to sport from the ground blocking some of my attacks. I didn't waste any time as I stomped on the ground and launched myself while holding somewhat of a fire sword.

You might question the battle earlier, " You felt burning in your hands when Miku used fire, how are you not getting burnt?", well an easy explanation, casters cannot be damaged by their own spells but other magic that wasn't cast by them can damage them.

Just then, an extreme coldness was dent all throughout the field and it all came from Naomi who had her pale yellow eyes glimmer, and the stage we were in turned into ice. Darkness then surrounded us as Naomi's eyes turned completely black including her sclera.

She then launched herself towards me and I... couldn't use my flames. I had no choice but to dodge her attack but then, she was really fast. No, it was as if I slowed down. She hit me in the face completely but I covered my face with earth and the earth immediacy crumbled.

Though she didn't stop. The people outside looked at the darkness. The stage we were in was in total complete darkness and no one can see inside. Eliada then squinted her eyes as she observed the darkness.

Inside, we were still fighting. I started to fly using wind magic but her jump was extremely high so she always caught up to me. I twisted my body to dodge but I was getting slower and slower. It might be because of the ice mana surrounding us.

Despite being able to use ice magic, it seems as if I couldn't control the ice mana around and only Naomi can. Then, I grew agitated as my eye illusion started to dissipate. My eyes became normal and showed a completely black sclera, a grey iris, and a completely white pupil.

Then as if controlling the darkness I growled as I clenched my fist closing the darkness and swallowing it. Now they could finally see us. They were shocked to see our eyes that turned black. As I growled, Naomi only had a serious look.

Just then, I suddenly disappeared from my spot and Lilia widened her eyes as if she realized... I was going out of control. I then suddenly appeared somewhere else every second as if I was as fast as a flash of light, no, it seemed as if I was faster than that.

"That is!", one teacher exclaimed and Lilia only bit her lip as she said, " Advanced Space Magic", I appeared behind Naomi's back and kicked her throwing her far, but her expressionless face didn't change as claws started to appear ok her hand.

She then swung her hand with a dark-colored claw and almost hit me, but I was extremely fast. Faster than anyone has ever seen. Naomi started to use ice magic and tried to trap me but then the ice couldn't trap me as I just teleport.

I then threw the mixture of spells to Naomi and she made a shield made of four layers first is a shield of water, then a shield of ice, a shield made of earth, and a shield of complete darkness, but it couldn't hold as it broke and my spell passed through.

It hit Naomi and a blinding light was sent everywhere blinding everyone for a second. As the light disappeared all there was me standing and Naomi was on the ground kneeling as her eyes turned to normal and fell down.

As if my frenzy ended, I couldn't help but stagger standing and fall down on my a.s.s. But then, a sudden urge to sleep entangled me and I could only close my eyes with exhaust clear.
