Rebirth of Abium

Two hours later, three human figures appeared above the ruined town square and slowly fell from the sky. All of their red robes were completely torn and were covered in blood.

Three of them were severely injured, and even the Rune mage Ubius appeared to have lost one of his hands. Abium and others instantly stopped their work and sprinted forward to help the trio. As they arrived near to them, everyone got shocked when they saw Zivior's appearance.

Abium saw his teacher's face was filled with numerous large papules, and he looked like a different person. Moreover, Abium saw multiple burn marks on him and grew nervous. Zivior stood with a blank expression for two seconds and soon fell. Abium's and Tabitha's face went death pale as they saw Zivior's falling and became anxious.

''Hurry up. We have to bring him to the academy.'' Alius spoke solemnly and quickly took out a puppet carriage from his spatial ring. After a few minutes, everyone, along with the three injured teachers, returned to the Royal city and quickly returned to Academy under other organizations' watchful eyes. Abium got more worried about his teacher's condition and checked his condition using Azolla's scan function.

'Necrosis of pulmonary lung tissue due to unknown microbial infection, Urticaria caused due to an unknown drug, Mollusum contagiosum - A type of viral infection.' Abium frowned as he heard Azolla's strange words and soon began to listen patiently about those infections.

Abium, Tabitha, and others stood outside with anxious expression on their faces.

After a few minutes, Ubius and Cole moved to another room with Anne and Mark to treat their own wound while leaving Abium and Tabitha alone in the hall. At the same time, Alius began to use some strange artifacts and started treating Zivior's external wound. Following that, he began to cast multiple spells and became puzzled.

"It's a mutated infection caused by the potion." He said solemnly.

Meanwhile, Abium and Tabitha listened to their discussion outside and waited for them to finish curing Zivior. After three hours of treatment using strange methods, both stopped working and let Abium and Tabitha in. Although both couldn't restore Zivior's original appearance, Alius and Ulzez managed to cure most of his internal wounds and infections.

''He is just affected by the side effects of Darksoul potion. It will take at least six months for him to wake up from the coma. Don't worry; he won't die easily while leaving you alone, little girl.'' Alius said while patting Tabitha's shoulder and left along with Ulzez. Meanwhile, Abium stared at Tabitha and then towards his teacher and was lost for words.

But quickly, he noticed Tabitha stood there with a sour expression on her face and didn't know what to do.

'Leave her alone, kid. She must be thinking about her past.' Azolla suddenly said as if she were experienced in this field. Hearing this, Abium nodded his head and silently walked out of the medical room.

After that, he went to the exchange counter and began to sell a few potion materials and other rare magical beasts' body parts, which he collected in the Fex dimension. A total of 79 strange items were placed on the table located in the exchange counter while startling other mages. If he placed all those Elemental crystals and other rare potion materials in his spatial ring, he knew it would have caused a great commotion.

After selling all those treasures, he earned another 30,000 white gold coins.

A few minutes later, he walked out of the white tower with a solemn look on his face and sighed deeply as he thought of his teacher's condition.

'All we can do now is just wait.' He thought to himself.

After that, he paid one Abyssal crystal to the Grold and returned to the royal capital.

'Why am I feeling lonely?' He walked out of the Northern Tower and glanced at the surroundings.

He even saw a few children roaming along with their parents and sighed heavily.

'I wonder how my mom and dad look like. Are they still alive?' He smiled bitterly and then moved towards the Brougham Carriage that stood opposite to the Northern Tower.

Commoners' Borough, Black Street.

A red Brougham Carriage arrived in front of the Black Street's entrance and stopped in front of the signboard. A black-robed elven guy with blonde hair walked out of the Carriage and then started walking.

Abium soon arrived at 21 Black Street and noticed it was around 11 A.M. As he walked near his house, he saw black haired Lillian and other children were practicing sword arts in the yard. Before they could notice him, Abium cast the 'Mirage spell' on himself to change his appearance and then opened the compound gate.

His arrival immediately attracted everyone's attention, and quickly they stopped their practices and then greeted him with respectful eyes. Abium smiled warmly in response and soon astounded by their improvement in strength.

Everyone had already breakthrough into second-tier warriors and appeared to have gained some progression in sword arts. Even that clumsy girl Wendy got improved in sword art that made Abium's smile to widen. With a proud face, he shifted his attention towards Lillian and spoke.

''Lillian, I will give you six zero tier darkness affinity spells now. You can slowly construct them one by one. Once you finished constructing all six zero tier spells, you can go to Alastall woodlands along with your friends.'' Abium patted on anxious child's shoulder while placing a red badge with a bird symbol on her palm and shifted his gaze towards Ash and Aaron and then continued.

''I have a job for both of you. I was hoping you could gather all information about the Underworld Boss. But be careful when you are searching for him. If somehow any of you guys caught by some gang leaders, spill everything you know about me. Don't hide anything.''

Both became confused, but soon they nodded their head. Following that, Abium started to teach them about sword arts and the Peral kingdom's geography. When he finished teaching about most of the nobles' territories and borders, it was already evening. Then, Abium took out the zero tier spellbook and asked Lillian to select six darkness spell models. He also explained each spell's effect and suggested which one was better.

After she picked up those six spells, he carefully copied those spell models in another book and gave it to her. He knew it would take at least two years for her to construct all those spells completely, so he also gave her a few first-tier spell scrolls. After that, Abium bid farewell to those kids and went to Baron Auguinare's mansion.

Surprisingly, Helena still stayed at Baron Auguinare's mansion, which made his job easier.

''You took so long.'' She broke into a wide grin as Abium walked inside the hall and said with a bright smile on her face. Abium saw her sitting on a wooden chair and appeared to be in the middle of writing something. She wore an emerald belted waist dress and was holding a silver quill in her right hand.

''Sorry, I met with some problem during the last mission,'' Abium said with an apologetic tone and quickly arrived near her. But soon, he saw there was no sign of Baron Auguinare in the mansion and asked with a frown while sitting on the chesterfield sofa, which was placed near to her chair.

''Where is Lord Baron?''

''He went back to his territory a month ago. Abi, I think you need to buy a mansion in the Royal capital for you.'' Turning her face serious, Helena made a suggestion.

Till today, Abium didn't even put any thought into that and got stunned. With a helpless smile on his face, he made a quick decision and replied.

''Then I will have to rely on you for that. Buy a small mansion near to commoners Borough's Black Street. Also, use this money to strengthen the Amara town's defense and offense.'' Abium said while taking out most of his crystal cards, which had around 50,000 white gold coins, then gave it to her.

''T-This is too much for just strengthening defense and offense.'' She suddenly stopped as she realized something and asked hurriedly, ''You want to build stone walls surrounding Amara town? But I think 5,000 white gold coins would be more than enough for that.''

Of course, Abium knew she was talking about wooden walls to defend the town from low-level monsters.

Instantly, Abium smiled as he shook his head and added. ''Not a wooden wall. If his luck is not bad, he will be able to find a potion that could permanently cure him. After that, tell him to go to Silverland City and wait for me over there. As for that sword, please hand it over to Duke Adhemer quickly and tell him this sword really helped me during the last battle.''

Helena's azure eyes instantly widened as she heard those words and hurriedly stored that map and the sword inside her spatial ring.

''So, how long will it take for you to return?'' Helena asked her the most concerning question as she realized Abium was leaving once again. Although she felt sad, she didn't show it on her face. She could see that Abium was spending most of his money on normal people, which confused her.

It was as if he was doing this like some hero from legendary stories. She also noticed odd things during her journey, which made her firmly believe Abium was a person who would achieve great things in the future. As she was thinking about those silly things, Abium also stood up from his seat and replied solemnly.

''I don't know. But I will definitely come within two years.'' His words caused Helena's expression to turn gloomy. Abium could see the sadness in her eyes and let out a chuckle. How could he wasn't aware of her inner thoughts?

He stood in a daze for a moment and quickly sat on the sofa while closing both amber eyes. His sudden action caused Helena to startle. She stared at him full of confusion and quickly noticed a green ring appeared out of nowhere, which made her eyebrows arch up.

'No elemental fluctuation?' She got confused deeply and stared at Abium with full of puzzlement. At the same time, Abium opened his amber eyes and gave that ring to her while started talking with a smile,

''Keep this ring with you all the time. I may find a way to contact you through this ring in the future. Put your spiritual imprint on this ring and don't lose it.''

Hearing his words, Helena became perplexed.

''What ability this ring has?'' She asked while narrowing her eyes and began to imprint her spiritual power on that green ring. Soon, she noticed a small link appeared in her soul, which looked just like the link between her soul and the World Tree.

She also noticed some green essence like substance deep inside that ring and got more puzzled. The next instant, she knew this was not something she could casually mention to anyone and kept her mouth shut. Abium smile widened at her response and added,

''Even I don't know much about this ring. But I know this is not something simple, so don't let others know about it. I don't want to lose more people from my life.'' Abium turned solemn as he said that and once again stood up from the sofa. As Abium was about to walk away, Helena also stood up and said with full of concern,

''You look like a lone wolf.'' Her words made Abium stop his footsteps. He opened his mouth to say no, but there was no word came out.

''Haa! I guessed right. Abi, I can see loneliness in your eyes. Although I don't know what happened to you in the past, I and others will always be waiting there for you in Amara town. You are our lord, so come back safely even if you weren't able to find the person you are searching for.'' Helena said with a serious tone. Meanwhile, Abium quickly smiled and replied with a nod.

''I know you all there for me. But still, I need to find a person who gave birth to me and ask her why did she abandon me.'' Abium said while clenching his fist tighter.

This time, Helena got a little stunned and didn't know how to respond. She actually thought that he was feeling dull because of some random beauty who stole his heart in the past. But she didn't expect he was searching for her mother. After a short silence, Helena said slowly.

''Maybe she left you because of some unfortunate situation.''

Abium also nodded his head at her words and left the main hall, leaving the hall to complete silence.
