Rebirth of Abium

After fifteen minutes, Helena finished her writing and soon stood up from the chair while placing the silver quill on the table. But soon, she frowned as she saw a blonde-haired kid who was around 12 years old walking inside the hall.

He had amber eyes, thin eyebrows, and olive skin. He wore a navy blue blazer with a medium grey slack. Helena's azure eyes moved towards the small red batch on that kid's blazer, which had a red bird symbol drawn on it, and instantly widened.

'He is a Royalty!' She instantly identified that kid and quickly greeted while bowing her head,

''Greetings, your royal highness!''

Raollet stopped his footsteps for a second as he arrived inside the hall and smiled as he saw Helena's polite response. Without minding her curious gaze, he once again walked slowly towards the Chesterfield sofa and silently sat while giving a small sealed envelope.

''This is...?'' Helena got flabbergasted a little by Prince Raollet's action and got more confused. Without any other choice, she tore the sealed letter and began to read the contents carefully. Meanwhile, Raollet sat on the sofa and waited patiently.

''An invitation letter from Seekers of Nature?! Your highness, can you explain more about this organization?'' After reading the full content of the letter, Helena asked with a deep frown on her forehead.

Prince Raollet turned his eyes towards her and began to explain with his soft childish voice,

''This is the organization only for Druids. If you want to become an official Druid, you have to get approval from the World Tree. This organization has secrets about Druids, and it will be easier for Druids to rank up.'' His words made Helena raise her eyebrows. She began to ponder and quickly asked,

''Can I tell my answer after six months?''

Raollet stared into her azure eyes for a second and nodded his head, then added,

''Come and meet me when you made up your mind.'' Once he finished his words, his face began to pale, and soon his whole body, along with his dresses, turned into green woods.

Helena got shocked when seeing that and soon shifted her attention to the invitation letter while letting out a long sigh.

At the same time, she heard a loud commotion from the outside and frowned.

'Now what?' She got more annoyed and quickly asked,

''Mr. James, can you go and see who is causing a ruckus outside?''

Soon, a short black-haired man around sixty years old walked out from the kitchen room and nodded his head. He wore a formal butler suit and was holding a black umbrella in his right hand.

'Morons! Are you guys seeking death?' He cursed at those two armored guards and ran towards the entrance gate hurriedly.

At the same time, those two guards stood outside while staring at her coldly and were constantly mocking with vulgar words. Aliza got infuriated greatly by the guards' mocking words and was about to cast a death spell.

''Stop it!'' An anxious voice came out of James's mouth. Hearing those words from James, those two guards frowned a bit and turned their heads towards James in confusion and annoyance. Although James had a high position in this mansion, they didn't put him on equal terms and shrugged their shoulders.

At the same time, James bowed his head towards Aliza and invited respectfully.

''I deeply apologize for their rude behavior, Miss Mage. Miss Helena is waiting for you in the main hall.''

Hearing those words, both of those guards' faces froze and soon turned into death pale.

''Okay.'' Aliza nodded her head in relief and quickly followed after James.

Soon, both arrived at the mansion entrance and walked in.

As Aliza entered inside the main hall, she noticed a blonde-haired girl sitting in a wooden chair and appears to be waiting for her.

''Please take your seat, miss,'' Helena spoke politely and began to study her movements.

Aliza nodded her head with a smile and silently sat on the chesterfield sofa.

''Can you tell me the purpose of your visit, Miss Mage?'' Helena stared at her deep black eyes and asked curiously.

''Please forgive me for my sudden visit without an appointment, Miss Helena. My name is Aliza. I'm a death mage, and I came here to meet Mage Abium.'' Aliza replied solemnly.

Hearing those words, Helena narrowed her azure eyes and replied while shaking her head helplessly,

''Miss Aliza, if you came twenty minutes earlier, you might be able to meet him. Now, even I don't know where he went. Well, if you want to meet him that badly, then you have to wait for two more years.''

Aliza got startled at Helena's words and asked hurriedly.

''Miss, do you know Necromancer Murius? I heard Mage Abium met him in the Alastall woodlands and went to the Wadel Kingdom to search for me.''

Helena's blue eyes widened as he remembered that necromancer and nodded her head. Now, she understood this girl was the one who got captured by the pirates and got startled.

'How did she manage to escape from those pirates? Wait...Didn't she mention earlier that she is a death mage? What is that?' Helena thought to herself in puzzlement and asked.

''Are you planning to go and search for your teacher Murius?''

''Yes, Miss Helena,'' Aliza said with full of determination in her eyes.

A low sigh came out from Helena's mouth, and she began to talk while shaking her head,

''Wadel Kingdom is not a safe place for a young girl like you, Miss Aliza.'' Helena paused for a moment and asked, ''But why do you want to meet Abi?''

''My friend told me that Mage Abium is a Seer, and he is the only hope for me to find someone,'' Aliza said with a suppressing voice.

'Seer?! Didn't he say earlier that he is a diviner? Hmm, something is not right. So, that's why he is acting all this time suspiciously, huh. Damn, I should have thought of that before.' Helena became surprised inside and nodded her head in understanding.

''Is there any other way to contact him?'' Aliza asked with some hope.

'Ulzez said I have to rely on his help if I want to find the guy who made me as an experiment subject. But it looks like I need to wait for another two years.' Aliza thought to herself and noticed Helena was frowning deeply.

''Hmm, please give me your current address. If he returns from the mission, I will ask him to look for you.'' Helena said solemnly.

Aliza got startled a bit and replied with an embarrassment on her face.

''Well, I'm staying in the academy for now, but I'm planning to move to commoner's borough and look for a decent job.''

''Are you not a death mage? Why not stay in the academy and do some academic missions to earn money?'' Helena suggested.

But Aliza shook her head and replied with a bitter tone.

''Mages won't accept a death mage easily. Moreover, it will also attract the Light Church's attention.''

'Oh? So, she is a jobless girl, huh. Hmm, can I give her some job? We also need many helping hands to build the Amara town, right?' A thought crossed through her mind, and instantly Helena asked with a smile,

''Do you want to work as a manager?''

Aliza froze for a moment and soon widened her eyes.

''I would love to.'' Without any delay, she nodded her head.

''You are appointed then,'' Helena said with a bright smile and began to talk.

''Our first job is to buy a small mansion in the Noble's Borough near to Commoner's Black Street and appoint a steward to take care of it.''

Aliza got stunned by her sudden speech and nodded her head nervously.

Watching her nervous expression, Helena smiled in amusement and stood up from the wooden chair while taking out a silver pocket watch from the draw.

'Hmm, it's already 6 P.M.' she let out a long sigh and turned her head towards the kitchen room.

''Mr. James, I will be going to handle some personal matters,'' Helena said loudly and began to walk towards outside while gesturing Aliza to follow after her.

''Take care, Young Miss.'' A worried voice came from the kitchen before they walked out of the mansion. Helena nodded her head with a smile and soon moved towards the carriage, which stood at the mansion yard's corner.

''Orson, we have some work in the Merchant's Borough,'' Helena said loudly while waving her right hand towards the carriage.

It was a large luxurious carriage with a unique red bird symbol embroidered in those golden curtains. Meanwhile, the coachman, who was around 35 years old, sat on the driver seat, nodded his head respectfully, and then rode the carriage towards their direction. He had messy black hair, downturned deep brown eyes, barely visible eyebrows, and a square face. He wore loose brown linen clothes and an old straw hat on his head.

Once the carriage arrived in front of them, Helena and Aliza entered inside the cabin and sat in the opposite seats.

Within seconds, Orson let the carriage out of the mansion gate and moved towards the Merchant's Borough.

30th May, Creeper's forest entrance, around 9 P.M.

Abium stood with a nervous look on his face and quickly walked inside the forest while thinking deeply. Today, he decided to find out the truth from that ghost Empress Athena. He also planned to give that Emperor's body to her and ask her about the real history.

Soon, he walked deep into that Creeper's forest and started to search for her in the dark. But he couldn't be able to find her even after searching for half a day. He felt an eerie feeling continuously, which caused him to frown deeper. After thinking for a bit, Abium found a safe place near a tree and sat on the ground in a meditative state.

But to his surprise, he felt someone was staring at him from the front within a minute. A smile crept on his face as he opened his amber eyes and grinned. In front of him, the same black-haired ghost-like naked lady staring at him with puzzlement on her face. Then she started to circle him while floating and started humming as if she was enjoying nature.

Abium soon saw something unusual and frowned deeper. She was repeating the same thing and didn't even try to ask him. It was as if she was doing this instinctively.

'Wait a minute!... She is just looking like a lost child.' Abium felt something was wrong and fell into deep thought.

'It seems she locked her most of the memories deep inside her consciousness, kid. Only by speaking to her, you could be able to enter her dream world and ask her more questions.' Azolla said solemnly. But Abium immediately shook that idea because he knew the dangers in the dream world.

'Is there any way I can wake her up?' Abium thought to himself and soon got an idea.

'Seeing the Emperor's face will wake her up, right?'

Without any hesitation, Abium quickly took out Emperor Jack's body and placed it in front of him.

The next instant, Empress Athena's face froze. She stood there with a vacant expression on her face while staring at Emperor's elven face. Abium was startled a little and waited patiently for her to wake up with her locked memories. Soon, Abium felt an invisible pressure came from her body, making his face turn grim.

'She is a Demi-God, kid!' Azolla said with a shocked tone. Instantly, Abium's eyes widened and nodded with a grave expression on his face. He could feel that simple pressure was even able to kill an apprentice mage directly. Without any hesitation, Abium cast his 'War angel's wings' spell and used both crimson wings to block that pressure from crushing his body. He could see the nearby trees were also torn into multiple pieces and got shocked.

'Damn, it seems even my 'War Angel's wings' spell won't be able to block this pressure.' Abium got more anxious as time flies, and soon his expression turned ugly as he heard cracking sounds from his wings. Following that, even stronger pressure appeared and started crushing everywhere like as it was some natural disaster.

He could see the dark clouds starting to gather up in the sky, indicating it was the end of the world. Meanwhile, Abium was already on his knees and barely managing to withstand the pressure by continuously casting his wings spell.

Once his 'War Angel's wings' broke, he immediately cast another one while crawling backward hurriedly.

Finally, after another five minutes, Abium saw the pressure starting to decrease, and soon he felt relieved as he saw the pressure completely disappeared. But instead of confusion, that Empress Athena's eyes revealed an icy look. She had a cold smile on her face and quickly snapped her fingers.

Then, the next second, her naked figure was replaced with a beautifully dressed one. Her body was covered in an Elaborated gown. The dress was made up of azure duchess satin and embroidered with floral emblems representing fine mithril and golden thread. She had a beautiful silver crown on her head, which gave her a more dazzling look. As Abium saw her face, his heart began to race faster.
