Abium stared at the information and got stunned inside.

'His every spell is powerful in its own way.' He muttered to himself in awe and spoke to Cedric, who had already finished his transformation.

''Cedric, ask Ringer about the location of that 'Death Cane.' Also, ask him where the Dark Blade is hidden. We need to move faster.''

''Yes, my lord.'' Cedric nodded his head solemnly and asked Ringer.

'Old man, can you tell us the location of the 'Death Cane'?'

'Hehe, do you think you are on vacation to an amusement park? This is a f*cking dungeon, brat. Although that cane has no use for me, that doesn't mean I won't keep that treasure unprotected. If I'm not wrong, there should be a Nightmare Shadow guarding it at the fifth layer. As for its strength, it's way above yours'. It's a beginner third-tier magical beast. Just give up on that now. Cedric got deeply shocked as he heard those words and quickly explained everything to Abium.

'So, 'Death Cane' is really hard to get, huh. Well, I already expected that.' Abium wasn't bothered by the dangers and quickly spoke.

''Then our first aim is to get our hand on the Scarlet. Then we will go and get that 'Death Cane.'''

Hearing Abium's words, everyone agreed. They didn't dare to underestimate a third-tier magical beast and thought of acting more cautious.

'Hmm, her spirit power had already reached above 600. She is simply using her bloodline spell without any control.' Abium had long found out the cause and taught her about how to use those spells properly.

''My grandfather said someone is using a divine artifact called 'Moon's Crown' to restrict most of the beastkins' bloodlines in this world. That was the reason Beastkins couldn't win the battle against any mages or Warlocks.'' Hearing those words, Abium got stunned and soon understood everything.

In the past, he had battled against a few beastkins and knew they also didn't have any bloodline spells. Only a few beastkins managed to awaken one or two innate spells and stayed like that for the rest of their life.

''So, you came here for that 'Death Cane' to remove the shackles, right?'' Abium asked as he made a possible guess.

''Yes, I heard one of the legendary spells that 'Death Cane' has the power to break the shackles. Although a death mage created this artifact, I heard through divination that the power hidden in this Death cane could help beastkins remove the shackles.'' Edith said with an exciting tone while raising her tail and cat ears in unison.

Abium nodded his head and noticed that they had already reached the area when they first arrived. Unlike other areas, this place was now filled with blood and flesh. There were more than 30 corpses scattered everywhere and appeared more gruesome. Some of their bodies were already begun to emit a rotten smell, and worms were crawling out of their bodies. After giving one long look at those bodies, Abium sighed deeply and asked others to follow after him.

The group followed him quietly, and after a few hours of travel, they managed to walk out of the rotten forest. Although some strange monstrous slimy worms attacked their group, those creatures didn't pose any threat to them.

Once they finally reached the other end of that rotten forest, the whole group noticed an underground cave-like path appeared in front of their sights. Abium knew some information about these dungeons and didn't get anxious like others. The cave appeared pitch black on the outside, while the interior looked gloomier.

'Path to the second layer.' Abium grinned.

Without minding others wary look, he stepped in and walked into the dark passage. Meanwhile, others glanced at each other and then followed after him while shaking their heads. The group entered inside the underground cave and stared at the unique atmosphere in wonder. Bats, strange crows with silver-lined worms on their foreheads, Eye-shaped silvery butterflies, and few other strange creatures appeared in the underground passage.

Abium stared at the descriptions and silently avoided all those strange creatures. They cautiously moved in the underground cave and maintained full vigilance.

The cave appeared like a maze. After multiple twists and turns, the group finally walked out of the cave and noticed the same red lights illuminate the grey-colored barren land. The same dark sky appeared in front of them, along with those three red stars hanging in the sky. The sky was similar to a normal dark sky, but there were only three bright red ones instead of countless stars.

One by one, all of them walked out of the underground cave and became stunned as they looked at the empty gray-colored land. Everyone's eyes shifted towards a single place and shined in excitement.

A few hundred meters away from where they stood, they saw a black-painted temple with a large three-meter wall surrounding it. The building looked very old, and the walls surrounding that building seemed to be made of some precious dark-colored gems.

''That is the temple of Dark god.'' After a short silence, Cedric said with amazement on his face.

''Can you ask about the strength of Ringer's servant Zack?'' Abium suddenly turned his head towards Cedric and asked solemnly.

Cedric nodded his head and replied after a short pause.

''He said the servant Zack is a Goblin from Goblin plane and had the strength of third-tier mage in the past. But after the Dark Dungeon's creation, Zack's power level got reduced by the will of the World, and now his strength must be around the normal level second-tier mage. He is a shaman and skilled in the assassination.

Mostly he would use the shadows to hide his presence and kill his opponents secretly.'' Hearing Cedric's words, Abium widened his eyes in surprise and nodded. Although he was surprised when he heard his opponent's strength, he didn't get anxious. Instead, he turned his head towards others and spoke,

''I think this battle will be a quick and tough one. So, get prepared for any unexpected attacks.''

Everyone, including Umi, nodded their heads and took out their weapons. At the same time, Edith cast her bloodline spell and soon vanished from the place like she never appeared. Abium could tell this bloodline spell had a power similar to a normal second-tier spell and got amazed inside.

'It appears she can only be able to cast a single bloodline spell. Well, even that single second-tier spell could become a formidable one if she uses it properly.' Abium muttered inwardly and led the group towards the temple. Within a few minutes, all of them arrived in front of the entrance gate and opened the tightly shut iron door with a forceful push. Soon, everyone's eyes' widened as they saw what was hidden behind the entrance gate.

There stood a dark temple surrounded by a large yard filled only with black sand. The dark building was almost blending with the surrounding darkness and gave off an eerie feeling to everyone. If not for the red light shone from the three strange scarlet stars up above them, no one would be able to notice the presence of this building.

There were multiple worm statues, and different shapes of bells were attached to the temple's dome while giving some unique beauty to the temple. As they were stared at that temple's large dark dome in amazement, a 140 cm tall black-cloaked figure appeared at the Temple of Dark god's entrance and appeared to be holding a scarlet-colored blade in its hand.

Abium suddenly felt immense killing intent from the dark figure and got startled a bit. As he blinked his eyes, he saw that figure disappeared from there and appeared behind Kate. Without giving any chance for her to evade, that black-cloaked figure thrust its crimson-colored short sword.

But before that sword could reach Kate's abdomen, a thin layer of windshield covered her body and blocked that blade while leaving a clanging sound behind. Although Kate was the weakest of all of them, she was the wealthiest one in terms of money and information.

She didn't panic as she noticed that hooded goblin attacked her from her back. She calmly watched that windshield blocked that attack, and quickly she stepped to her sides. Simultaneously, the shield got broken into multiple pieces, and that short sword pierced through the area where she stood before.

Although she was still in danger, she wasn't anxious at all. Because she saw others began to act. The first one to act was Fennelis, who had already mastered her second-tier single bloodline spell during these past months.

A single white arrow conjured in front of her hand while freezing the surroundings and arrived at the side of that goblin Zack's head. It was so fast even Abium couldn't be able to manage to follow that arrow's speed.

Second-tier bloodline spell, Ice Arrow!

But Goblin Zack glanced at that Ice Arrow and quickly muttered a word in an abyssal language.

''Shield.''

The next moment, everyone saw a dark red bubble-like layer appeared all over that goblin's body and blocked that ice arrow. A second later, the ice arrow disintegrated into dust. Everyone became shocked by the power of the dark red shield and became extra vigilant.

'He is a skilled assassin.' Abium calmly analyzed the goblin.

After that, Abium didn't hesitate to attack. He tapped his Miracle Star bracelet and cast a misfortune curse on Goblin Zack. Then, he took out the high tier dagger he got from the thief John and gripped tightly. The second later, a green-colored sword aura formed around that dagger while emitting sharp energy around it.

For the first time, a surprised expression appeared on Gobin Zack's face. Abium didn't dare to delay any longer because he could only maintain his sword aura for three seconds. So, he directly blinked right behind the Goblin, who was still covered in the dark red bubble layer and slashed the dagger at the dark bubble. A second later, the bubble disappeared and gave an opening for Abium to attack.

But before his dagger could reach the enemy's back, Zack twisted his hand grip and blocked Abium's dagger using his own Scarlet sword. But what made Abium pause in surprise was that he saw the same green layered aura appeared on the opponent's sword!

'Heh, as expected of the Dark god's follower. Well, I can't think of him as a normal second-tier shaman.' Abium muttered to himself and quickly took two steps back.

At the same time, Umi suddenly pointing her finger at Zack and muttered.

''Ice Needle!''

As Abium heard her words, his amber eyes widened. The next instant, he disappeared from there and reappeared a few meters away from the goblin.

Simultaneously, a piece of tiny needle-like ice was conjured in front of her snowy hand and soon disappeared in a blink. As Abium saw the needle, he suddenly thought of the Myth Needle artifact. Umi's Ice Needle spell moved like the Myth Needle and appeared in front of Zack's heart in a blink. A look of astonishment appeared on that goblin's face, and soon it turned into a puddle of shadows.

Following that, an old male voice came from the inside of that Temple of Darkness.

''Kekeke, I'm impressed. Welcome to the Temple of the Dark God, Mortals. You have earned my respect. So, I will kill you all with my own hands.'' That ancient old man's voice said with a hint of arrogance, causing everyone to narrow their eyes.

'It seems we had been battling all this time with his clone.' Abium frowned deeply.

A second later, a 140 cm tall green goblin walked out of the temple and looked at everyone coldly. He wore a red robe that had multiple runes inscribed on it. Moreover, he was holding the same Scarlet sword in his hand and gave everyone a curious glance. But soon stopped his tract as he saw Cedric's face and twisted into a creepy smile. His opened his stained black teeth and spoke in a bone-chilling voice,

''Kekek, so you are 'His' next seed, huh! I will spare your life because I don't want to offend 'Him.''' That wicked red-robed goblin Zack stopped for a second and continued while staring viciously at others. ''As for you guys, Kekek, you will know soon enough.''

As his voice ended, Abium saw that Goblin Zack began to turn into a puff of smoke and disappeared from there.

Without any delay, Abium ordered Azolla to scan the surroundings and narrowed his eyes.

He could feel the darkness element behind Kate became distorted for a minute millisecond and returned to normal.

'Humph, you want to play hide and seek with me? Then you are courting your own death.' Abium snorted inwardly.

Without any slight hesitation, Abium cast his blink spell, appeared behind Kate, and then directly stabbed his dagger in that area. The next moment, a sharp clanging sound echoed and soon disappeared. Abium could easily tell that Goblin Zack had already changed his target and became icy cold.

As he was about to search his surrounding again, Azolla warned him,

'Kid, that goblin is standing behind Umi.'

Abium's face turned grim, and was about to teleport, but stopped as he saw Umi was turning her head while pointing her forefinger towards an empty area. The next instant, the same crystal ice needle appeared from her forefinger and directly pierced towards the empty area. This time, everyone became shocked by Umi's instinct response. Only Fennelis and Abium showed an understanding expression on their face.

'As expected of the one who is blessed by Goddess of Tricks, she has good reflex.' Abium got deeply impressed.

Following that, everyone heard a painful grunt sound, and a second later, a shadow began to escape while tearing the empty black space.
