While walking back home, Basara and Mio were suddenly interrupted by Yuki.

"Basara, I want to stay with you at your house."

" What did you say?! Basara, I didn't say anything in class but what is your relationship with her?!" asks Mio. She was pretty angry. Yuki had kissed Basara in class and now she wanted to stay with him in the same house. Though she didn't understand it, she felt like Yuki was going to steal Basara away from her. She could never let that happen!

"Relax, Mio. Yuki, come with us. I'll explain everything once we reach home."

Then Mio, Yuki and Basara together walked back to their home. There were several gazes on them, all of them filled with different kinds of emotions including l.u.s.t from girls and jealousy from men and these gazes were all directed towards Basara. But he didn't mind it at all and instead he proudly walked with the beauties at his side.

After walking for several minutes, they reached their apartment. Yuki was surprised for a moment, but quickly regained her composure as she remembered that something like his is nothing but a piece of cake for Basara. When it comes to magic, there are also rankings. From lowest to highest they are: Mage, Caster, Wizard, High Wizard, Elemental Master, Paladin, Sorcerer.

By comparison, Mio is a High Wizard and Kurumi is an Elemental Master. So, Kurumi is stronger than Mio when it comes to magic. But again since both of them use mainly magic and are not well versed when it comes to physical strength, then Kurumi is definitely stronger than Mio. An Elemental Master she is able to borrow the spirits' power to activate magic without using her own magic power through various channels and requires a magic circle to do so. However, it has weaknesses, the main one being it is tied to any nearby strong spirit and will be limited to that one element. And as a High Wizard, Mio is able to use a number of powerful spells, most of which require concentration, but she still needs Maria's help to form difficult and complex spells.

After entering their house, the three of them are greeted by a n.a.k.e.d Maria wearing nothing but an apron.

"Welcome back, everyone! Basara, I see you have brought another girl to our house! Aren't you already satisfied with me and Mio that you've to go and get another girl to satisfy your d.e.s.i.r.es?"

Maria right off the bat starts teasing Basara. But Basara doesn't give a crap and like a savage hegives a chop on her head.

Bam!

"Hey that hurt!" Maria complained as she covered her head that was wincing in pain. Though that was just a normal chop, Basara was an extremely strong hero, so it's not unusual for that chop to hurt Maria.

Seeing the tears forming I'm the corners of Maria's eyes Basara reached out his hand and began striking her hair as he spoke.

"Sorry if that hurt too much. Now, let's go inside." I'll explain everything."

"Mio, Maria, this is Yuki. She is my childhood friend and a hero too. Yuki, this is Mio and this is Maria. I assume you already know them since that is your mission after all."

"What do you mean by 'mission'?" asks Maria.

"Seems like you already figured it out, Basara. I was sent here from the village to keep a watch on the daughter of the Demon Lord Wilbert, Mio Naruse and her companion, Maria Naruse."

""What?!"" Both Mio and Maria exclaim at the same time.

"Yes, it is true. Though I was not informed about it by the village, I can assume that due to the danger Mio and Maria's mere presence brings danger to the people in this city to the ones who are hunting Mio down, both of you have already been ranked as B class threats. I assume that if a situation arises where your existence will become a threat you both will become S class threats. And one that happens you will be immediately eliminated." said Basara.

"You are right, Basara. The village didn't inform you about it since they already knew that you would find out the moment you enter the city, due to your incredible senses. And they also didn't want to disturb you with such a small matter. And as far as both of you are concerned, I'll always be keeping a close watch on you and if your actions are dangerous to any of the people in this city or Basara himself, I'll eliminate you without a second thought."

Saying so, Yuki glared at Maria and Mio with killing intent. Maria and Mio couldn't back down, from what Yuki just said. She is brazenly threatening them! Mio and Maria also glared back at Yuki.

"Calm down." Immediately after Basara said that, the situation became somewhat normal and all of them sat back on the sofa as they calmed themselves down.

"Listen Mio, Maria. You must understand that Yuki doesn't want to hurt you without any reasons. She is simply warning to not take actions that can endanger the lives of innocent civilians. As heroes, it's our first and foremost duty to protect the innocent. For us this duty is even more important than eliminating evil. And Yuki, I would say that Mio and Maria are not evil like other demons. And also now both of them are my little sisters and both of them had a rough past. So, I ask you to not harm them without any reason and I'd like all of you to be friends."

"""If you say so, Basara."""

All three of them said in unison. None of them can go against Basara.

"I'd like to ask one thing. What did you mean that the village didn't inform Basara because they didn't want to disturb with a 'small' matter?! Mio is the daughter of the Demon Lord, who even sealed all of his powers in Mio. How can this be a small matter to you?!"

"Didn't Basara tell you? He's a SSS Rank hero and he's also the one with the highest authority in the entire hero clan, even the Vatican can't overturn his decision which is the headquarters of the entire Hero clan. Only the Holy King has authority higher than Basara, but even he can't overturn Basara's decisions without a significant reason. Because Basara is one of the only two heroes that are SSS Ranked including his father Jin."

Hearing Yuki's words, both Mio and Maria's jaws dropped. They were absolutely awestruck! They knew that Basara was the famous prodigy known as 'Eusebius' but they didn't know he had such a high authority!

"But I don't understand something. Shouldn't your Holy King be the highest ranked hero?" asked dMaria.

"No, he isn't. He's only an S+ Ranked hero." said Yuki.

"Why?" asks Mio.

"The reason is very simple. In the hero clan, one's rank is decided by their strength and the number of high missions they have completed and the monsters of which rank they have defeated. Since the strongest being the Holy has ever defeated was S+ Ranked and he never managed to defeat anything of a higher rank, so he has been given S+ Rank." said Basara.

"I understand. Now that everything is sorted out, why don't we improve our bonds?" said Maria.

"What do you mean? " asks Mio.

"Basara, why don't you form a Master-servant contract with Mio?"
