Basara nodded his head in satisfaction after seeing the reward though he was slightly annoyed seeing that Emiko's [Desideratum] was only branded B+ Rank. It felt as if that Emiko was only worth B+ Rank to the system, which was unacceptable to Basara. Basara simply pushed the thought to the back of his mind. If doesn't matter what the system or [The Aether] thinks of his women. Because his women Mena the world to him and he doesn't care about the opinion of a third party.

Basara summoned Kaoru's [Desideratum] from his inventory as a violet orb with strands of gold appeared in his hand. Basara focused his intent on the orb as the time around him came to a stop and he appeared inside the familiar world of endless darkness. The scenario around him again changed to that of a broken house. He could see two little girls sitting on the floor as tears continued pouring down their fair cheeks. These two girls were only little children. In front of them a man and a woman were each laying down on a futon.

Their body was unhealthily pale and swear was covered sound their bodies. They seemed very ill and suffering from a fatal illness. Basara could see that the two people were on the verge of death as they held each other's hand. Both of them must be the parents of the two girls sitting beside them and crying. The two parents also tears running down their eyes and a sad smile on their faces. Basara was a bit surprised because the two young girls looked very much like Yuki and Kurumi. Their father looked at both of his daughters and spoke "My dearest daughters, I'm sorry I couldn't stay with any of you. I am very..*sob*...sorry that your father couldn't fulfill your wishes and take care of you. I am a failure as a father. Please forgive me...." The father said as he couldn't stop the tears that were constantly dripping from his eyes.

"No, father! You needn't apologize!" The blue haired girl presumably the older sister said.

"Onee-chan is right! Father, none of this is your fault!" The younger one of the two sisters with violet hair said. Both of them hugged their father and cried in his arms with him.

Both of them then hugged their mother, who kissed both of their foreheads and spoke with a smile on her face "I'm sorry my precious stars. Sakura, Kaoru, both of you have always been my precious stars. I'm sorry that I and your father have to leave both of you. If we were not so sick, we could've been with you. My daughter's eat well, train well and rest well. Most importantly marry a worthy man and create families of your own someday. I hope both of you can be happy..." Saying so, the mother then looked at her husband as she spoke "My dear, I am sorry I couldn't spend more time with you. I wanted to always be able to laugh and smile with you and our daughters. I am sorry that I couldn't fulfill all of my responsibilities sad your wife-"

"You needn't apologize, my love. I have always loved you and our daughters and my feelings will never change. I am proud to have a wife such as you and I am proud to have children such as you two."

"Me too." The mother said. Then both of them closed their eyes and passed away with smirks on their faces while holding each other's hands. The two girls Kaoru and Sakura, mourned at the death of their parents as they alongside the villagers buried their parents and commenced a funeral. Afterwards Basara saw both of these girls growing up to become strong Heroes as time passed.

Now both girls have grown up into their early twenties and one day, Sakura met a young man named Shuuya. Both of them fell in love at first sight and since then they would always she seen together. Kaoru felt happy for her sister. Shuuya and Sakura even married each other and had two beautiful daughter whom they'd named Yuki and Kurumi. Their lives were passing with happiness. But one day, Sakura suddenly fell ill and succ.u.mbed to death due to the same diseases that her parents had suffered through. Seems like it was disease passed down in their family's genes. At the time of Sakura's death Yuki and Kurumi were only two years old.

Shuuya was very sad from the death of his wife and so was Kaoru. Shuuya didn't want her daughters to go through the same pain, he didn't want them to grow up without a mother. So he requested Kaoru to act like the mother of his daughters. He didn't propose marriage to her since he knew she didn't have any feelings for him and besides, Shuuya couldn't even think of marrying any woman except for his beloved Sakura. Kaoru agreed to act like their mother and Shuuya's wife for the sake of Yuki and Kurumi. Both of them requested the other Heroes to act like Karu had always been Shuuya's wife and the mother if his daughters.

The other Heroes promised to not reveal anything to Yuki and Kurumi. Then the scenarios again change sand this them it focused on a young Basara. His times with Kaoru and the day he took her first time, all of them were part of the scenarios. Kaoru fell in love of the young boy named Basara Toujou. He was like a light in her dark world. Both of them always spent time together and loved each other a whole lot. When Basara left the Village, since then Kaoru became sad like she use dot in the past and this was the final scenario as the space around him battered like glass and he was back on the bed beskde Emiko as time resumed.

Basara had years running down his eyes due to the sadness he felt. But the emotion that was currently spreading through his mind was anger, anger towards himself. Since he didn't see Kaoru's avatar‌, it meant that her [Desideratum] wasn't completed. She only wanted to be with Basara, but instead of taking her along with him he left he Rin the Village with her sadness and pain. Because of his decisions Kaoru was sad and unhappy. It was his fault. He swore in his mind that this time he would take Kaoru with him to Tokyo no matter what happens. After calming down, Basara laid down again as he drifted to sleep while thinking about ways to make up his mistake.
