After looking through the rewards he'd received from Kaoru's [Desideratum], Basara began walking towards the living room. There he talked with the others for some time before deciding to go to his own house in the Hero Village. Chika and Shiho had decided to stay at the Nonaka House, with Yuki, Kurumi and the maids. Basara didn't mind their decision and since he likes to be alone anyway, Basara simply went to his own house. After entering inside his house, Basara couldn't help but feel nostalgic seeing his old home. Basara went to the washroom and took a bath to clean himself and afterwards he wore normal clothes. Suddenly his doorbell rang and Basara had immediately noticed the identity of the person through his domain.

Basara opened the door with a smile on his face as he greeted his best friend, Takashi.

"Good morning, Takashi."

"Good morning, Basara. I was out on a mission and the moment I heard that you'd returned, I finished my mission as soon as possible and came running. I already met Yuki, Chika and Shiho at Yuki's house. My mother sent this lunch for you." Takashi had a smile on his face. He was wearing normal clothes with a lunchbox in his hand. Both of them then hugged each other like the homies they were. Basara invited Takashi in his house as both of them sat on the couch in the living room and chatted with each other for hours.

"Hey, Basara. Do you remember about the tournament? It's coming up pretty soon."

"Huh? What we you talking about?"

"Sigh...I knew that you'd forgotten. Did you forget about the 'Tournament of Heroes' held once every one hundred years?"

"...!! I remember!!" Basara immediately remembered what Takashi was talking about. The entire Hero Clan has been divided into several branches and each of these branches have established themselves in different nations and communities. But as a result of this, it became significantly harder to find talented warriors among the members of The Hero Clan, since each branch had slowly become separated fr the other branches and there were some branches that were corrupted entirely.

As a result, a rule was established that once every century, a tournament would be held in the Hero Clan. Each time it would be held in different branches of the Hero Clan. In this tournament, the top twenty strongest Heroes from every branch would gather in one place and battle it out amongst each other. In this way, it was easy to find talented Heroes and root out the corrupted one since even all the Branch Leaders of the Hero Clan had to participate in the Tournament and even the Holy King could participate if he wanted to. And the Tournament is also the grandest event in the Hero Clan, since in this tournament, all the members of the entire Hero Clan gather in one place. Except for the participants, every single ember of the Hero Clan regardless of age are also require to attend the Tournament.

The previous Tournament, which was a century ago and was supposed to be held in Chinese Hero Clan, wasn't held due to the 'Great War' between Heroes and Demons. This year's Tournament would be held in the Japanese Hero Clan, meaning in the Japanese Hero Village. The Tournament is supposed to be held in the huge Coliseum inside the Hero Village which can easily accommodate about five hundred thousand people and more. The rewards of this Tournament are unbelievably high and the one who gets the first would become the successor to the Holy King, meaning he would become the Holy Prince. This Tournament is so great that even the Gods in the Celestial Realm watch this event from their abode with excitement.

"When is the Tournament going to be held, Takashi?"

"It's going to be held after three months. Though mini tournaments have already started being at the different branches of the Hero Clan to select the top 20 participants from each branch. The mini tournament in our Hero Village is going to be held after three days."

"That's good. As far as the participants are concerned, I'm pretty sure Yuki and Kurumi are going to want to join the Tournament. And I already know you're going to participate. I'm pretty sure Celis will be present from The Vatican's side." Basara said.

"Basara, you and Jin have already been confirmed for the Tournament from our branch in the second and first position respectively. The same goes for me, Yuki and Kurumi. Though the three of us still need to participate in the mini tournament to finalize the rankings. Since the top two rankings have been taken by you and Jin, we all need to compete for a spot in the remaining 18."

"Wait a second! Why am I in second place?! Who decided that?!!"

"You and Jin are only SSS Ranked Heroes sin the entire Hero Clan, so of course the two of you will be in the Tournament. Jin was given first position since he is the first ever Heir to become SSS Ranked and at the same time, he is the famous 'Wargod'. His achievements in the Hero Clan are the greatest. You, Basara, are his son and the new rising talent of the Hero Clan. Your potential and talent are said to be even higher than Jin's and your achievements are no joke and you are also the famous 'Eusebius' as well as the man wielding the highest authority in the Hero Clan, after the Holy King. But there's one difference between you and your father. He was a warrior in the 'Great War' who single handedly demolished the Demon Army and he is the sole reason that the Heroes wom the 'Great War' in the first place. Everyone knows how great and powerful he is, but not many people know about your powers and capabilities, Basara. Most of the Heroes had seen Jin's prowess in the 'Great War', but when it comes to you, most Heroes have only heard rumours about your prowess."

"Your right. Most Heroes aren't even aware of my capabilities, after all they've only ever heard rumours about me. But I do plan on winning the Tournament."

"If that's the case, then I'm absolutely sure the final match of the Tournament is going to be between you and Jin. That would truly be an epic and legendary fight."

"Yeah." Afterwards Takashi and Basara chatted for a few more hours until lunch time came and both of them had lunch together. Afterwards Takashi left the house and Basara began ruminating about his actions in the future while laying down on the bed as he looked at the ceiling.
