Chapter 22 - 022 - Meeting SCP-2662, Cthulhu

[A/N: Next chapter will e out either in a few hours or by the end of the day]

With the Plague Doctor now with us, I only want to meet two more SCPs before I leave this place, the Gamer, Cthulhu, and the Old Ai.

Of course, I plan to recruit both of them as well just like the Plague Doctor and Tommy.

"049, do you know where SCP-2662 and SCP-079 are?" I asked the Plague Doctor.

"I do, but why do you wish to know where they reside?" the Plague Doctor asked.

"They can provide some use to me and the Old Ai can be of some use to you as well," I explained.

"Oh? What can the Old Ai do for me?" the Plague Doctor asked.

"Many things, but as a Sentient computer, it can process data many times more than a brain can, meaning that he would be of great help in your research," I explained.

"Oh? I guess I really have been out of touch with the world...what else have I missed?" the Plague Doctor asked.

We talked to each other while we headed to the wing where SCP-2662 and SCP-079 are 'contained'.

I told him about the advancement of computers, food, vehicles, and even some news about space.

What he was most curious about was the advancement of science and medicine.

Of course, I don't really have a big idea of the advancements in that area but I told him I will give him access to a computer later when we return to our home.

It's amazing the versatility of Divine Energy and the things I can create or do with it.

We soon arrived at a large door with a simple label, 'SCP-2662'.

I asked everyone to stay outside while I opened the door and stepped in.

I immediately noticed that I stepped into what looked to be an apartment room...

To my right, I could see a kitchen and dining room and to my left, I could see a living room of sorts where I ȧssume Cthulhu could watch TV.

Ahead of me is a hallway with a large bathroom to my right and a bedroom to my left, in the bedroom I could hear some angry talking.

"Why the fuċk do you teleport?!" the voice shouted in anger.

I gently knocked and the voice replied "One second!"

I could hear it get up from its chair and pause its game as it began walking over to the door.

As it walked over I noticed that many of the things in the apartment were made much bigger than usual, for example, this door was tall enough that a giant could walkthrough!

The door opened wide as the voice asked "I thought there was a containment breach...?"

"...What are you?" It slowly asked upon viewing my physical form...

"I guess you could say that I am a Game Developer," I told him.

Which had some truth to it.

"Are you an SCP?" Cthulhu asked.

"Although I am an Anomaly, I have yet to be captured by the foundation," I answered and examined him.

Squirming behind it is around 20 tentacles that seemed to help Cthulhu multi-task.

I also noticed that Invisible streams of Divine Energy were being emitted from Cthulhu's body and flowed towards random areas of the world...

Is this why his religious groups can find him so easily and learn about their failures despite having no contact with each other?

I noticed that he was doing this passively without control...

So the main reason for his suffering is because of himself?

If I remember correctly Cthulhu's SCP-file noted that Cthulhu hates these religious followers that have constantly been trying to...'Kidnap' him...and/or do...disturbing religious rituals...

Which usually ends up in disgusting blood orgies and sacrifices...

Honestly, I feel bad for him, especially since he is a fellow gamer.

"I have an offer for you, can we sit down?" I asked while gesturing over to the dining room table.

"What is it you wish to talk about?" Cthulhu asked.

"What do you think of the current Game Industry of the world?" I asked, ignoring his question.

"...Exciting," he answered truthfully.

"Then what if I told you I can offer you a whole world of games that don't exist in this world and as a side bonus, prevent any more...religious incidents from happening again?" I offered.

Suddenly his black eyes began to shine with excitement as he asked "Really? A whole world worth of games AND you can stop those annoying 'Followers' from bothering me?!" he shouted.

I nodded and responded, "That's right, I can prevent any more of your followers from finding you and I can introduce you to games that don't exist in this world."

"I am in!" he shouted without any hesitation.

He is truly a gamer in heart....
