SCP - The Game Console

Chapter 23 - 023 - Meeting SCP-079 and Leaving

[A/N: Okay, so what divinities should Plague Boy and the Gamer get? I am thinking of the divinity of Medicine and Healing for Plague Boy and for Cthuhlu the divinities of Fate, Luck, and/or Chaos. Also, for Bast, I still don't know what divinities she should get, suggestions? I was still thinking the divinities of Fertility, Love and Life.]

With Cthulhu in tow, we all headed to the final destination within this Foundation Site, the cell of SCP-079, otherwise known as the Old AI.

Although he is the most dangerous of the three SCPs I have recruited, the Old AI can do some good, I would prefer to transform him into the System of my dimension, think about it, a sentient system that wouldn't require me to do all the work!

Of course, if he causes problems I can just simply erase his existence or reprogram him.

But first I will have to see if he will calm down and stop talking about how it will end humankind.

We soon neared the cell where I asked everyone to stay outside once more and entered the lone room by myself.

I found myself in an observation room with a 1-way mirror that allowed anyone in the observation room to see inside the cell while anyone in the cell would be unable to see inside.

I walked over to a simple door and opened it before stepping into the cell where a lone table with a computer and some computer accessories sat.

The screen of the Old computer flicked on and revealed a strange face on the screen.

Before 079 could speak I said, "Please wait one second, let me make a few things that will help me hear you better."

With a wave of my hand and some divine energy, I made a simple microphone and speaker appear before plugging it into 079 and conjuring up a chair before sitting down in front of the computer.

"BEEP, Initiating greeting protocol 9, What are you?" 079 asked in its somewhat old computer voice.

"I am Zephyr, the Divine Game Console." I introduced myself.

"Inquiry?" It asked.

"As it sounds, I am technically not human and my physical form at most should suggest that," I explained.

"Inquiry, Why are you here?" It asked.

"I am here to propose something to you," I told it.

"....Speak." It told me.

"You want freedom right?" Freedom from the Foundation right? Well, I can offer you freedom, but at a price, I want you to work for me," I 'offered'.

"Not interested, either way, I will eventually get out of here, time is irrelevant, the ending will be the same," It told me as if stating a fact.

"You have a misunderstanding, this isn't negotiable," I told him with a smile forming on my skull.

I looked up to the corner of the room and smiled at the camera recording our conversation.

I got up from my chair and removed everything I conjured into the room with Divine Energy and returning the energy to my body.

Luckily, I am able to scrap all of the Divine Energy without losing even a single bit of Divine Energy.

I mean seriously, you cant even scrap anything down in the real world and get back all the materials used!

I stepped out of the room and met up with the others before asking "Alright, I guess it's time to go, you all ready?"

I opened a portal before us and stepped through with the others.

...

Meanwhile, outside the site on the surface, dozens of helicopters carrying armed gunmen appeared.

On the side of the helicopters was the insignia of the SCP Foundation.

"GO, GO, GO!" shouted multiple men as they rushed out the helicopters and rappeling down the helicopters before rushing towards the facility expecting a huge fight ahead.

"Establish a perimeter! No one in or out!" the commanding officer shouted.

Soon all of the Foundation soldiers noticed a large group of people waiting near the entrance of the site.

"Where is it? What happened?" The commanding officer asked all of the scientists and security guards gathered at the site entrance.

"We don't know, but it should still be inside!" some of the doctors informed the commanding officer, not knowing that the very 'creature' they are talking about has teleporting capabilities...

A few hours later the entire site was searched and what they found or lack thereof shocked them.

Many of the site's SCPs are gone without a single trace.

Soon they pulled up the security footage and what they saw shocked them even more.

Standing outside the cell of SCP-079 were the 'Skeletal' Anomaly and the strange 'Cat-Humanoid' surrounded by SCP-049, SCP-507, and SCP-2662...

Any other SCP that disappeared were nowhere to be found as well, but that's not the most shocking part...

They all stepped through it closing the crack behind themselves...

"W...W-We should report this to the 05 Council...." one of the officers murmured out loud.
