SCP - The Game Console

Getting picked up soon after rescuing a small group of UNSC troops, Noble Team was immediately ȧssigned another mission to defend against a Covenant attack at an ONI(Office of Naval Intelligence) Base code-named 'Sword Base'.

With a Covenant Corvette laying siege to the facility, Noble Team had to be immediately deployed to the field.

Landing a short distance away from the base, Noble Team suddenly halted as over a dozen different Covenant troopers looked over towards their position.

Noble Team quickly got behind cover over a dozen hostiles fired upon their position.

I watched as Noble Team killed the Covenant with some effort after a few minutes with the help of some UNSC Marines.

Instead of letting the Divine Energy that is dispersed back into the world after death, I began actively absorbing any and all Divine Energy that is emitted upon death, to my surprise I was gaining a lot of Divine Energy...

I was absorbing massive amounts of Divine Energy from the entire planet as countless people and aliens died from either natural causes or the Covenant skirmishes, that's right, skirmishes not battles, this is only a skirmish from the covenant...

Within minutes I already earned over 200 Divine Energy and it only continued to rise!

Just how many people were dying?!

(Keep in mind this still only a SKIRMISH, the Divine Energy gain will increase a lot when the real battle begins!)

I watched as Noble Team slowly advanced through 'Sword Base' and killed more than two dozen different hostiles.

Using the Target Locator the two Wraiths(Covenant Tanks) that were heading towards their position were easily taken care of.

Kat and Noble Six then proceeded to get on a Warthog with Noble Six driving and Kat getting on the gunner position, a UNSC Marine even joined them and got into the passenger seat.

Once they all left I began gathering the remnants of the Wraith's and Covenant's weaponry for study later with Atlas after putting them in my Dimension for storage.

Once I did that I caught back up with Noble Six and Kat I found that the UNSC Marine that went with them died...

He had his long pink spikes directly pierced into his ċhėst hitting most of his vital organs, these Needles were fired from a Needle Rifle...

Frowning I looked up to see a Kig-Yar shooting at Noble Team with its needle rifle, feeling slightly angry at the heroic death of the trooper I snapped my finger and set the Kig-Yar's entire body aflame.

Within seconds its body was burned to ash from the Sun Fire.

This didn't go unnoticed by Noble Six and Kat who were under fire from the Kig-Yar, but I didn't care.

As they continued to fight and advance I watched with an interest.

They were obviously faster, stronger, and much more flexible and it appears that even their senses are enhanced!

They soon got back on a Warthog and drove over to an Anti-Air Gun that was deactivated by the Covenant.

After fighting and killing the Covenant at the small outpost with the AA Gun they activated the gun before returning to 'Sword Base' which was being attacked by some more Covenant vehicles and covenant troops.

Upon reaching the tunnel which they exited they re-entered the tunnel and began fighting even more covenant troops that replaced the ones they fought upon landing.

Soon they entered Sword Base and met two Mgalekgolo, a hive-like being made of many worms covered in armor and wielding a Plasma cannon.

Although they are fearsome creatures they are easily killed by those nimble enough or fast enough to get behind the Mgalekgolo and attack their weak spot just on their back where their armor does not cover.

After they died I of course absorbed their Divine Energy and gathered one of the Mgalekgolo bodies armor and weapons as well, and will study it for later.

What can I say? I have a lot of free time and who knows what all I can learn from studying these things, heck just studying the Mgalekgolo can help me in creating something for the game world.

Speaking of the game world let me open my status.

That reminds me, should I get a second Guardian? If so I think I will probably go with another animal, since Animals would definitely be more loyal if I make them a Guardian.

Well for now I will just continue watching Noble Six and Kat.

Once that was taken care of Noble Team then had to meet with Dr. Halsey, the mastermind behind the SPARTAN programs and the Mjolnir Power Armor that the SPARTANS wear in combat.

Even though I really wanted to speak to her I decided otherwise since she is important to the Halo timeline.

So as I stood near them all listening to the conversation between Noble Team and Dr. Halsey I just thought to myself about the timeline and who on Noble Team would be the first to die.

If memory serves Jorge would be the first to go, I guess I should start thinking of a plan to safely save him without the others finding out.
