Chapter 57 - 057 - Lord Blackwood
Upon walking in I found it was a mostly empty room with a single chair before a large habitat on a table at the center of the room.
On a branch in the habitat was a small creature, a Neon Slug!
"Greetings," A Telepathic voice spoke to me in my head.
"Hello, you must be Lord Blackwood, correct?" I asked.
"That is correct and who might you be?" He asked.
"You can call me Zephyr, I am a God," I introduced myself.
"A God? Haha, preposterous!" Lord Blackwood laughed telepathically.
"You don't believe me?" I asked raising my eyebrow.
"Who would! Would you believe every stranger that walked in and claimed to be a God?!" He retorted.
"Well no, but I have proof," I told him before waving my hand turning him back to human, well not completely, he has the option to shift back to the Neon Slug form whenever he wishes.
Before transforming him I made sure he was outside his Habitat.
Once he had transformed to his human form I watched as a middle-aged man with short black hair and a black beard appeared before me.
I looked at his black robes and the boots he wore.
"What's wrong?" He asked looking at me as if I just did nothing.
I looked at him with a questioning gaze and said, "Think about transforming into a Neon Slug."
"What happened to me?! What have you done to me?!" Lord Blackwood shouted at me telepathically.
"Now I will explain something to you, this form you have taken right now was the same form you appeared to others for a long time now, being the Gentleman I am I saw fitting to return you to your human appearance, I even gave you the free will to shift between the two forms," I explained.
"Wait, so all those crazy people that claimed I was a Slug were saying the truth?!" Shouted Lord Blackwood with realization.
"Yes," I replied.
"How...when did this happen?" He asked.
"I do not know, the only one that could answer that question is yourself," I told him honestly.
As he went deep into thought I decided to speak, "Anyways, I am here to offer you a job!"
"Job?" He asked looking up at me with a confused expression.
"You have explored most of the Earth right?" I asked to which he responded with a nod.
"Well then, I have an offer of a lifetime for you then, since you have explored most of what this world has to offer, then how about other worlds?" I asked.
"Are you saying that...you have access to other worlds? And you want me to explore them?" He asked with a glint of excitement in his small slug eyes.
"That's right, also as an added bonus, I can provide you a new home, new equipment, and the chance to learn actual Magic in another world," I offered.
"What happened to my original home?" He asked.
"Don't you remember? The Foundation seized it," I told him.
"Ah yes, I thought they only took my collection, I did not know they seized my home as well, wait...what happened to Ms. [Redacted](Doesn't say in the File so I'm redacting it on here as well)?" He asked.
"She passed away a few days after the house was seized," I informed him.
"I see...that's...unfortunate," Lord Blackwood replied before shifting into his human form.
"I agree to your employment," He eventually agreed after moments of silence.
"Oh, that's wonderful! Well then here," I told him before summoning a portal, "Just through here is a large farmhouse, feel free to claim yourself a room and talk with the other tenants currently there, also when I get back we can start discussing what you need."
"How marvelous! Is this some kind of portal?" He asked with excitement as he examined the crack in the air floating behind me in the room.
"Yes it is, now please step through so I can close the portal behind you," I told him.
He soon walked through the portal allowing me to close it behind him.
Now then, let's go get someone else. I plan on freeing at most 5 new SCPs before I leave and times a wasting.
Exiting the room I went back to exploring.
Within another minute I found another SCP that I felt could be a great addition to my home.
SCP-085
Otherwise known as the Living Drawing.
Just next to it was another door labeled with a number.
SCP-5094, otherwise known as Miss J's Whiz Kidz Schoolhouse.
Thinking about all of these were great and nice SCPs that in my opinion should be freed from the Foundation, if I remember correctly the Foundation tried to conduct dozens of experiments against the Friendly Water Nymph and cause it harm even if they didn't see it that way.
Each of these friendly SCPs faces danger just by being on these Foundation sites and some of the other SCPs housed on these Foundation Facilities threatened their very 'lives' if you will.
Sure, why the Foundation does try to not harm their 'Nice' and 'Friendly' SCPs, it doesn't explain why some of the SCPs are treated differently from the rest.
Looking at the three doors I first decided to enter SCP-085's room.
Stepping in I only found a single painting sitting on the wall on the other side of the room.
Meet SCP-085, a Living Drawing that was created via the use of two other SCPs.
It was a moving picture of a woman with a word beneath her that spelled 'Cassandra'.
Walking over I found that she was watching me.
Summoning a pen I watched as she opened her mouth in surprise.
Writing on the Painting I asked, "Do you wish to be free?"
