Shield Hero With Barrier Magic

(Third Person's POV)

Rose went to Mirellia to find her masturbating as usual. She also found Melty reading her previous report with steams coming out of her head. As Melty read the report many times, she knew what was coming next and became able to keep her consciousness throughout the report. But that doesn't mean that she would get less fl.u.s.tered when reading it. Every time, her face would become bright red, and fumes come out of her head, and she curses Hiro for his size.

These two already exchanged their reports accidentally. But it is thanks to Rose for making an exact copy that these two didn't find each other.

Anyway, Mirellia, Melty, and Rose are now in a room and Rose removed her mask and began her report. Melty is also interested in the filolials he took in. But Mirellia needs to confirm something first.

Mirellia: "Did my daughter try to take over Riyute?"

Rose: "She did, degozaru."

Mirellia: "Did Shield Hero use my letter to stop her?"

Rose: "He did, degozaru."

Mirellia: "Did they start the journey?"

Rose: "They did, degozaru. If I come to meet your highness like this, they will wait for me in a particular village and will start their journey from there once I reach them unless it's an emergency, degozaru."

Mirellia sighed in relief and smiled. That's one job done. If Hiro is traveling, Trash, Bitch and the Church won't be able to mess with him, at least until the next Wave. She has to bring down the Church somehow. But she doesn't have enough evidence. She ordered her Shadows to collect it as much as they can.

Melty: "What about the filolials? Is that pervert feeding them correctly?"

Rose: "They are currently bigger than normal filolials in their filolial forms, degozaru. They are like fat birds rather than a.d.u.l.t filolials and they can talk, degozaru."

Melty: "Wait, do you mean they are filolial queens now ?!"

Melty's eyes sparkled when she heard it.

Mirellia: "Hmm... So, the rumor that filolials grow as queens when raised by legendary heroes is true."

Melty: "I want to see them! Wait, you said their 'filolial' form, does that mean the rumor that queens can transform is true ?!"

Rose: "It seems so, degozaru. Filo can turn into a 10-year blonde girl while Sakura can transform into a 17-year old pink-haired girl. Both of them have wings in their human form, degozaru."

Mirellia: "It's really hard to believe that they came from the same egg. How can they be so different physically?"

Rose: "Not just physically. They are like two sides of a coin, degozaru. Filo acts like a child while Sakura acts m.a.t.u.r.e. The only thing that's common in them is that both of them want to mate with Hiro-sama, degozaru."

Melty: "That womanizing pervert! He doesn't even leave filolials! He is an enemy of every female species in the world!"

Mirellia: "Melty, You can't just give that title to him. Though I can't say anything about the womanizing part. I mean, he literally turned a filolial into a m.a.t.u.r.e girl. Hahaha..."

Mirellia joked about the womanizing part and laughed at her joke. Melty looked at her with a surprised face.

Melty: "Did Mother just say a lame joke?"

Mirellia: "Come on, it's not that lame."

Melty: "Huh?"

Mirellia: "What is it, Melty?"

Mirellia looked at Melty's surprised expression and realized what Melty is surprised at. Melty has never seen this side of Mirellia. It's because Mirellia lost it when her husband became Trash. So, she became serious and raised Melty with the same serious mode. But it came back a little now because things looked a little brighter for her. It's thanks to Hiro. For making things easier for her and also because of her 'stress-relief' sessions.

Mirellia: "What part of it are you surprised at? Is it that I made a joke or is it that it's lame?"

Melty: "Both."

Mirellia sighed and told Melty about it.

Mirellia: "I used to have this side when your father was still a hero."

Melty still has suspicions about her father's heroics that Mirellia told her about. How can a person fall so much? But she became a little angry at her sister and her father for taking this side from her mother.

Melty internally thanked Hiro. She can understand that it's because of him. Though she is still scared at what he would do to her mother once he finds the truth.

Mirellia went to her serious mode and asked Rose to continue the report.

Rose: "Rino and Hiro-sama had s.e.x with each other, degozaru."

Mirellia/Melty: "What ?!"

Rose: "Eclair allowed it, degozaru. A lot of monsters were sacrificed on that account, degozaru."

Melty: "That pervert! Beast! He is slowly putting his hands on every female around him!"

Mirellia: "I see. So, the harem route is cleared. Rino did a good job. Now, all Hiro-sama needs to do is to lay his hands on a demi-human."

Externally, Melty is cursing Hiro because of her tsundere qualities and Mirellia is praising Rino for clearing the coast but both of them are internally thinking the same thing, 'New report for me'.

Mirellia: "Anything else?"

Rose: "It's about Hiro-sama's ability, degozaru. He is an excellent observant, degozaru."

Mirellia: "Huh?"

Rose: "I ate dinner with her highness many times."

Rose went to the table nearby and picked up a spoon and held it like she usually does.

Rose: "Does your highness know how I hold a spoon, degozaru?"

Melty: "Wait, why are you holding a spoon like that?"

Rose: "This is how I normally hold one, Melty-sama. Hiro-sama was able to tell through my disguise in the party after the Wave with this degozaru."

Mirellia: "What?"

Rose: "Shadow system is probably useless against him. H... Hiro-sama was able to tell who I was among a bunch of Shadows. H... He said that he would find me even in a thousand shadows. H... He said that I... I am unique."

There was a moment of silence in the room after that.

Melty: "Rose..."

Rose: "Yes, Melty-sama?"

Melty: "You are blushing."

Rose: "Huh?"

Rose's face is still expressionless, but anyone can see her red cheeks and hear her stuttering at words.
