(Hiro's POV)

Alright, now that we got a break, I think it's better for us to enjoy the party before the next roasting. Raphtalia is looking at the dishes kept for the feast with sparkling eyes.

Raphtalia: "They look delicious!"

The dishes look good. Cakes, Fruits, Wine, Meat, etc. We are sitting at a table and Eclair, Rino, and I are sipping wine.

Hiro: "Then, go and eat as much as you want."

Raphtalia: "Okay! But... I will get fat if I eat too much! "

Hiro: "You are still growing. Eat as much as you want."

Raphtalia: "Umm... Daddy, do you like fat girls?"

The moment she asked that question, Eclair, Rino, and I burst into laughter.

Hiro: "Hahaha... You seriously care a lot about looks, Raphtalia. I will keep loving my daughter no matter how she is. Well, I already told you though. My ultimate love is Yanderes and I prefer m.a.t.u.r.e types."

Raphtalia: "I have to become m.a.t.u.r.e faster!"

Hiro: "Go and eat as much as you want."

Raphtalia: "Okay!"

Rino: "I will go with you."

Raphtalia and Rino went to try the dishes leaving Eclair and me alone. I stood up and extended my hand towards Eclair.

Hiro: "Wanna dance?"

Eclair: "I don't know how to dance."

Hiro: "Come on then. I will teach you."

She smiled and took my hand. I made her hold one of my hands as I took her waist with the other hand and made her put her hand over my shoulder and slowly taught her the steps. She picked up the pace within no time.

Eclair: "Where did you learn how to dance?"

Hiro: "Past life."

Eclair: "Is there anything that you didn't learn in your past life?"

Hiro: "Did you forget? You are the one who taught me, Love."

She smiled and gave a light peck on my lips.

Hiro: "When did you become so bold that you are kissing me in public?"

Eclair: "Who knows? It's not just that. I was a little bit jealous of Rino."

Hiro: "Oh... My wife is actually acting like a normal wife."

She immediately pinched my shoulder.

Hiro: "Ouch!"

Both of us laughed and we started dancing again with our foreheads joined and just when we were about to kiss.

Raphtalia: "Alright, Stop!"

Raphtalia and Rino came and separated us.

Rino: "Hiro-sama, I disappear with Raphtalia for a moment and you go and flirt with Eclair! How do I look like to you ?!! As a punishment, flirt with me too!"

Is that a punishment to me or Eclair?

Raphtalia: "Daddy and Mommy must stop or you might be doing an exhibitionism play if you keep going on. Those types of fetishes are not safe."

Eclair: "Where the hell did you learn that word?"

Hiro: "Isn't the answer obvious?"

I can feel a perverted old lady doing a 'Fufufu' at us. Just how much did you tell my daughter, Aunt Elaria?

Raphtalia: "It's good but not as good as your dishes."

Just at that moment, a glove fell at our feet. Ah, It looks like the break is over. Here it comes.

Motoyasu: "Hiro! I challenge you to a duel!"

The crowd around us erupted in surprise in Motoyasu's exclamation.

Hiro: "Umm... Why?"

Motoyasu: "I heard all about it! The three girls with you. Claire, Raphtalia and Rino are your slaves!"

I think Bitch told him about them being slaves. And I don't know what spices she added to it.

Hiro: "Umm... Yeah. They are technically my slaves. What about it?"

Motoyasu: "Listen! It's not right to enslave others! So, duel me and if I win, you are going to free them!"

Immediately, there was silence in the room. And the four of us started laughing.

Hiro: "Hahaha... They are my family, Motoyasu, and I treat them like one. They are just my slaves in name. I don't treat them like slaves."

Motoyasu: "If you think you can fool others with that act, dream on! I know that this is just an outward appearance! You ordered them to act that they are happy!"

Rino: "You really are a buffoon."

The four of us looked at the buffoon with an 'awe' at his buffoonery.

Motoyasu: "Don't worry, Rino! I will free you! I know that the real Rino would never say things like that!"

Haa... He won't accept the truth if he doesn't like it.

Itsuki: "Slavery is cruel, Hiro! How could you enslave others ?!! It isn't justice!"

Oh, the justice boy is here.

Ren: "I know the whole story and about them being slaves. However, I don't have any proof to say that Hiro is not forcing them. But I doubt if it's really the case. They really look like a family even though it's the weirdest family I have ever seen."

And here comes the neutral boy.

Trash: "I overheard the conversation. They are your slaves? I can't believe you are this rotten. "

And there's Trash. Now, all of them look like they are internally laughing. Hehehe... You guys really underestimate me. I smile.

Hiro: "Now now... Calm down, everyone. So, you guys are saying that slavery is wrong, am I correct?"

Motoyasu: "Isn't that obvious?"

Hiro: "Then, the one you should go to isn't me but him!"

I point at Trash. He looks surprised. You slipped your tongue in excitement just now, Trash.

Hiro: "You called me rotten just because they are technically my slaves. So, you too think that Slavery is wrong. So, why don't you abolish slavery in the whole country ?!!"

Everyone is surprised at what I just said.

Hiro: "Slavery is legal in this country. So, I will free them from the crest the moment you abolish slavery."

Trash: "Ah, that..."

It looks like someone is at a loss of words to say.

Itsuki: "What are you waiting for, King? Abolish it quickly. Slavery is injustice after all."

Motoyasu: "Do it, King! We can free not only them but a lot of others just with that!"

Trash: "Ah, I am sorry, heroes but it's not that easy. Slavery is not something that can be removed easily."

Hiro: "Isn't this monarchy? I thought people will follow your orders without question."

Ren: "Doesn't that make you a king just in name?"

Good job, Ren. It looks like it hit him right where it hurts. He finally lost it.

Trash: "Yes, I can't abolish slavery! But I can save these three girls. Shield Hero! I order you to accept this duel!"

Hiro: "If your own people in the country won't follow your orders, why should I?"

Trash: "You!"

Oh, it looks like he snapped. The girls are not even trying to hide their laughter. All the others who were internally laughing till now started internally cursing.

Motoyasu: "Listen, Hiro! We are from another world! We can't enslave others even though this world's people do it! We are heroes!"

Hiro: "Wrong, I am not a hero and even though we are from different worlds, all of us are humans."

Motoyasu: "Ha! I get it! You are just a coward!"

Alright, this is going the way I want. Trash is not thinking straight.

Hiro: "Hmm... Who is a coward? Alright, what are the conditions of the duel?"

Motoyasu: "If I win, you free them."

Hiro: "And if I win?"

Motoyasu: "You can keep the things the way they are."

Hiro: "Now, how is this a fair duel? Haa... How did this happen? I thought I was here to claim my rewards."

I turned towards Trash who is already fuming with anger.

Hiro: "By the way, how much reward am I going to get?"

Trash: "Reward ?!! You still expect a reward! You were going to get 5 gold instead you will be paying 10 gold in return for freeing them!"

Hiro: "How much were you gonna give him?"

Trash smirked at me.

Trash: "He is a hero! So, he is going to get 40 gold!"

Fufufu... Trash, you are so angry that you didn't even think twice before saying the exact amount. I turn toward Motoyasu.

Hiro: "Alright, if I win, I am getting both of those rewards i.e 45 gold."

Bitch/Motoyasu/Trash: "Huh?"

Motoyasu: "You! That's my reward!"

Hiro: "Oh, it looks like someone is a coward."

Motoyasu: "Who is a coward ?!! Alright, I accept!"

To be honest, I don't like the thought of my loved ones as bargaining ch.i.p.s even though it's obvious that I am going to win. That's why just for my satisfaction, I have to make him accept this.

Hiro: "Ah, one more thing. If I lose and you remove their crest, they get to choose what to do with their lives."

Motoyasu: "Of course, they would choose to leave you on their own and I am sure that they would choose me for how cool I am."

Raphtalia/Rino/Claire: "Hahaha... In your dreams, buffoon!"

Again, the four of us started laughing. This idiot. It was supposed to be a duel where I gain nothing for winning. It turned into a duel where he would gain nothing for winning.

Ren: "Wait, if what Hiro saying is true, doesn't that mean Motoyasu won't gain anything even though he won."

Motoyasu: "There is no way that what he is saying is the truth, Ren."

Ren sighed at the buffoon's confidence. Alright, everything is ready for the spear buffoon's second roast.
