Silverhart Online
15 Good night sleep
True to Deliah's words, Gray was offered to spend the night at their home for the time being after dinner since it is already getting a bit late.
Gray at first, kindly rejects the woman's offer since he does not want to impose on their humble adobe but the family of three insisted since it was the only way that they could think of repaying the Elf for saving Eric.
In the end, Gray ultimately agrees, much to the family's delight as they are eager to accommodate the Elf at whatever he needs.
'Wow, the people here sure is nice.' Gray thought as he saw the two human adults preparing the room and the mattress and blanket of the bed for him to stay.
While he was on his thoughts, Darlene nudges the Elf on his pants, causing him to look down at where the human child smiles adorably at him.
"Will you play with me, Mister Elf?"
As Gray was about to answer the girl, Deliah approaches them as she shushes her daughter gently. "Sweetie, it seems that Sir Gray had a long day and needs his rest. Also, it's getting pretty late. Why don't you head on inside our room?"
"Your mother is right, Darlene." Eric makes himself known after he was done setting up the room where Gray will be staying as he faces his daughter's pouting look. "Since Sir Gray will be staying in your room, I suppose that you'll be sleeping with us two tonight."
"Really?!" Darlene's expression lightens up in an instant at hearing her father's statement. "Yay!! I get to sleep with mama and papa!!"
They now saw the child dashing inside her parent's room excitedly as the parents chuckle at their daughter's antics.
Gray could not help but smile at the heartwarming scene.
Eric then tells Gray about his living arrangements as the former guides him inside the room of his daughter.
"If there's anything else you need Sir Gray, then don't hesitate to call for our help and we'll gladly assist you in any way we can," Eric said with utmost enthusiasm.
"Very much appreciated Eric." Gray nods with a grateful grin, seeing that he now has a comfortable bed to lay his body upon.
Looking inside the room, there's not much to tell except that it's small and simple with a clean bed and a desk on the side. Not to mention, the open window is a welcome addition as it provides a pleasant cold breeze for the Elf to be comfortable with.
As everyone is now settled for the night, Eric finally leaves the Elf to his devices with the former closing the door. Gray opted to store his robe and boots inside his inventory, leaving him half-naked and bare-footed for the deep solace of good night's sleep.
Now his body at rest, Gray finally succumbs himself into a well-deserved slumber of the very first day of his journey here at Silverhart, smiling as he could not wait at what tomorrow awaits him.

The loud sound of a bell ringing first thing in the morning is what awakens the Elf as he covers his eyes from the ray of the sunlight pointing directly on his face from the open window.
Upon his vision being cleared, a system message suddenly appeared in front of him.
- You gain 15% more experience for 4 hours.
"Nice. It appears that the benefits of sleeping are quite similar to the RPG games that I grew accustomed to." Gray nods with satisfaction as he indeed felt rejuvenated upon receiving such beneficial perks first thing in the morning.
Opening his Inventory, Gray equips his robe and boots as he went out of the room.
"Oh, good morning, Sir Gray." It was Deliah who first greeted him as she laid out a couple of fresh loaf bread for their morning meal on the table. "Breakfast is ready."
Accompanying the woman is Darlene, who upon seeing the Elf, beams with utter excitement fitting for a child like her.
"Oh, thank you." Gray happily replies as he took his sit on the dining table and took a bite from the loaf bread. Then curiosity has gotten over him as he asks Deliah about the bell that just rang loudly earlier.
"What you heard Sir Gray is the sound of the church bell ringing, glorifying the beginning of a new day gifted to us by the benevolent Goddess, Lady Sylvia herself," Deliah answers like a true devotee with a tranquil smile, every word behind poured with fierce fidelity.
"B-benevolent?" Gray merely sweatdrops sheepishly in response, mentally cringing just by thinking of how conceited the Goddess herself in person is during their first meeting.
'Well, she did give me the opportunity of being a part of this exciting fantasy world, so I guess it's kind of benevolent in some sort of way?' Gray added, feeling slightly unsure of his thoughts as he merely gives the Goddess a bit of credit despite being full of herself.
Then, the Elf notices Eric, the man being clearly absent and nowhere to be found inside the house. So he questions Deliah of her husband's whereabouts. "Where's Eric by the way?"
"He's out gathering water for us at the Village Well. "Deliah answers as she and Darlene also took their sit, joining the Elf for breakfast as well.
As they proceeded to feast on Delia's freshly baked pastries, Eric emerges from the outside as he is seen to be carrying a bucket of freshwater.
"Welcome back my love." Deliah happily welcomes her husband back with Darlene doing the same. "How goes your trip to the Village Well?"
"It's all good my love." Eric set aside the bucket as he wipes the sweat off his face and told everyone what happens during his errand outside. "Funny story actually, the moment when our fellow villagers saw me, they immediately sought me out, asking me questions as to why my clothes were all torn and messed up while being accompanied by an Elven Mage, Sir Gray yesterday. So I told them the whole story and indeed, they were absolutely grateful for such kind act and hope to see the savior himself."
"Truly?" Deliah responded joyously as she turns her attention to the Elf. "Amazing isn't it Sir Gray? Not only have you earned our respect but also of the rest of the village."
Eric wholeheartedly agrees with his wife as he also told Gray. "Yes, and in fact, I was also summoned by the Village Head earlier during my time outside and he told me that he wants to meet you personally, Sir Gray."
"Me?" Gray asks in genuine confusion. "But why?"
"Perhaps it is to properly thank you for your valiant actions," Deliah answers him.
As he's about to say something about the matter, a system notification suddenly materializes without any warning as he instantly read the contents.
