As the Character box pops out, Gray instantly notices that a 'Level Up' option is now being displayed and blinked continuously beside his status.

Clicking the said option, Gray is now given the chance to accumulate his 5 attribute points for him to become stronger.

But first things first, he also has to learn what the purpose of each attribute is so that he will know which one is the right one for him to spend his hard-earned points.

With that, he began reading at what each attribute play their roles in this world of fantasy.

- Determines how physically strong you are as you pommel your adversaries with brutal might. Increases Physical Damage.

- Determines how agile you are as you sweep enemies of your feet with undeniable grace and efficiency. Increases Critical Hit Damage, and Base Stamina.

- Determines how long can you last when taking damage in punishing situations. Increases Base Health.

- Determines the potency of your spell power and knowledge. Increases Magic Damage and Base Mana.

- Determines your mental fortitude in the face of a grueling crisis. Increases Stamina and Mana Regeneration.

- Determines how well can you convince others to do your bidding. This also governs how well you barter with merchants.

- Luck can be somewhat vague, but it's essentially a factor in determining a lot of things ranging from Item drop rate, Critical Hit Chance, and many more.

Note: There are some situations where an Attribute check is required when performing a particular action. The number of attribute points plus some other factors may determine if said action is a success or failure.

Gray after reading the descriptions, now understood how each of the attributes is going to serve him in this playthrough.

Being an Arcanist, a unique type of Mage Class, Gray definitely knows which attributes he is going to prioritize in order to optimize his overall power and efficiency which will benefit him in the long run.

Going to the Attributes, Gray finally accumulates the points as he made the following changes:

STRENGTH: 10

DEXTERITY: 12

ENDURANCE: 14

INTELLIGENCE: 27 (+2)

WILLPOWER: 26 (+2)

SPEECH: 14 (+1)

LUCK: 8

While making the choices, Gray also thought that he should perhaps be spending his points also in Luck but maybe on another level or so seeing as there might be some hidden advantages that accompany it.

But due to his limited knowledge of the game, perhaps he should not be brash and focus on the more effective and obvious ones as what he have learned at playing a lot of MMORPG when he was still alive in his original world.

As a Mage, Gray knew that he chose the right attributes for him to spend points at. Of course, the additional point in Speech won't exactly hurt since he knew the benefits of being able to talk yourself out in most situations.

Hopefully, he would be able to find items that increase his attributes so that he may focus on the other attributes that he is weak at.

Anyways now that the accumulation of Attribute points is over, for now, Gray also took note of his gained Ability point, which he will be using on his Skills, the same textbox where he chose his Discipline.

As he wills the Skill Box to appear, Gray is presented with a set of skills that are seen to be divided into tiers. Each tier can be unlocked when he reaches a certain level as shown in the box. Obviously, he can only choose the skills that are found on the first tier, with him being Level 10.

TIER 1: (Level 10)

(Active) - The Arcanist can consume the residual mana found in the crystal corpses of nearby and recently dead enemies, granting 7% of your base mana. It can only be used once per corpse. CD: 10 seconds.

(Active) - The Arcanist fires 5 blasts of concentrated Arcane Energy to respective enemies, each blast dealing 210 Magic Damage. Mana Cost: 220. CD: 15 seconds.

(Active) - The Arcanist can imbue the weapon of his allies with powerful Arcane Energy, allowing them to deal additional magic damage based on your Intelligence. Consumes 10 Mana per second for each ally which lasts indefinitely. CD: None.

"Hmm." Gray stroke his chin as he eyed the choices carefully. "One offensive spell and two utility spells. For now, I'll pick since the other two is still not exactly useful at this point of time. Besides, I really need more offensive spells since is still my only one. With regards to my Mana, I think and is more than enough to sustain myself."

Making his choice, the Elf clicks , thus adding the spell in his growing arsenal.

Now being finished with his leveling up, Gray smiled with content as he eyed his Character information once more.

Gray Allister

LVL 11:

HEALTH: 720 / 720

STAMINA: 410 / 410

MANA: 1400 / 1400

Gray also observes that his Health and Stamina have increased although only by a little bit despite not spending any points in Dexterity and Endurance.

"I see." Gray nodded. "It appears that leveling up overall grants a small boost in every status bar despite not spending the associated points in it. Huh, good to know."

Finally done with his self-checking, Gray opens his Journal to see the status of his current Quest.

- Kill (20 / 20)

- (???) (0 / 1)

- (???)

Gray could not help but notice as to why his Quest seems to have not done yet, despite fulfilling the prerequisite of killing the required 20 rabbits.

Perhaps it has something to do with the Quest Bonus? Maybe Gray also has to complete that one before advancing the Quest further.

"The hell?" Gray shook his head with a frown. "How am I supposed to complete this quest if it's only a freaking Question Mark?! Give me some kind of clue you damn Goddess!!"

While shouting his frustrations on the sky, a loud and menacing roar was suddenly heard throughout the forest.

Gray was instantly at alarm as he heard large quake of footsteps that seem to get even louder as each second pass by.

Gray instantly unsheathed his Mage Staff in preparation for the approaching danger.

With an even louder roar of utmost fury, A large beastly rabbit of 7 feet revealed itself, baring its huge sharp fangs while growling dangerously on the Elf in front, recognizing the boy as its sole delectable prey.

"Ehehe." Gray chuckled nervously as he faced the terrifying Rabbit Beast.

"I guess, that's my answer?"

He could have sworn that he heard Sylvia chuckling around the corner at his predicament.
