Sovereign of the Firmaments

Chapter 215: Arrival Of The Representatives

Next day,

Lucas and Beck along with a group of lynxes and three haunting ethereals came out of the Myriad primordial forest and entered Silverstone town without any problems on the way.

Generally, there would be adventurers or bandits that obstruct them; however, this time, their luck was pretty good as they didn't encounter any trouble.

'Master, the representatives from the Alverton firmament will go to Silverston town tomorrow. All the assassins in the entire firmament were making preparations in case you escape from their attack.'

Actually, Lucas wanted to stay a couple of days in Earl grounds and gained another 30-40 thousand sovereign points by killing the spirit beasts; however, he received a voice transmission from Ghost snake making Lucas change his plans to rush back to the town.

'Phew…they are still not here.'

Even though Lucas knew that they would come by evening, Lucas felt greatly relieved to be earlier than them.

"With the addition of three new rank 5 spirit beasts, I have a total of four rank 5 spirit beasts who could easily defeat a dozen higher-ranked experts. Let's see how powerful these representatives are."

With that thought in his head, Lucas walked into the Raindrop manor and took a good shower and started planning with the old Bernard regarding the representatives from the Alverton firmament.

...

Soon, the sun started going down and in a flash, the afternoon turned into evening as the so-called representatives from the Alverton firmament appeared at the entrance of the Silverstone town.

"Family head, few people are standing at the entrance and asking you to open the barrier."

One of the barrier guards rushed to Lucas and informed him about the people at the entrance.

"Oh…they are finally here."

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face as he looked at Bernard and others who were sitting along with him and nodded his head.

Soon, everyone walked towards the entrance of the town as Lucas muttered, 'Normal barrier.'

As soon as he said that, the barrier shone with a bright light for a moment before returning to normal.

At the entrance of the town, there were three groups of people.

Each group had a middle-aged man along with 10 young men and young women with a hint of disgust on their faces as they looked at the pitch-black coloured barrier in front of him.

That's right!

The barrier that was protecting Silverstone was not a normal one. As long as one of its effects is activated, no one from outside could see what's happening inside the town.

Currently, such an effect is activated and they could only wait patiently, hoping that the other party had seen them already and would open the barrier soon.

"Finally, you showed yourself."

After the barrier returned normal, the representatives of the three forces from Alverton firmament were able to see Lucas and the entire town behind him.

"Hurry up and open the barrier."

One of the young men wearing the red-coloured formal robes with fire insignia on it, shouted at Lucas as though he owns the town.

"Huh? What happens if I don't?"

Lucas already knew they were from the Alverton firmament because of their arrogant tone and looks. He thought at least the middle-aged men would restrain themselves; however, even those were arrogant and looked at Lucas with a face full of disgust.

So, he scoffed back at them and turned back to leave.

"Young man, if you know what's good for you, you will open the barrier and ask the lady named Beck to come out as we have some business with her."

All the youngsters were angry when they heard Lucas' words; however, they were quickly stopped by the middle-aged men from their ground as they replied to Lucas in a serious tone.

"What do you want with Beck?"

Lucas stopped in his tracks as though he was surprised to hear they wanted Beck and asked about it in a serious tone.

"We heard that she has a sovereign grade talent in beast taming. So, we want to recruit her."

Even though they were angry that the brat in front of them was not opening the barrier, they didn't want to act for now.

"She doesn't have any such talent. So, you can leave now. Goodbye."

As soon as he finished his words, Lucas turned back and directly activated the special effect of the barrier, making the outsiders unable to see what's happening inside.

"What?"

"He dared to turn around while we were speaking?"

.

.

The representatives from the institution of the beastmasters became furious with Lucas' attitude.

"The students of the beastmaster institution are really stupid."

"Yeah…yeah. We could not agree more."

The two other forces could not help but mock them since they never liked one other.

Especially, it was the two institutions that never liked each other and soon, they started having a war of words.

While they were having the 'War of words', the middle-aged man from the royal family's group touched the barrier to test its durability.

"Everyone, let's keep our differences aside and break this barrier. What do you say?

After finding out the durability of the barrier, the middle-aged man stopped the two groups that were fighting with words and asked them to cooperate in breaking the barrier.

"..."

However, the two groups didn't say anything as their ego didn't allow them to join forces with the other two groups.

"I know why you are hesitating. Once we break the barrier, let's capture the girl named Beck and take her back to our firmament before making further decisions."

Unlike the institutions, the royal family of the Alverton firmament gave an order to the middle-aged and it was to make sure to bring the girl back at any cost with her life intact.

So, he proposed a deal with the other two forces.

"Sure"

Surprisingly, the two institutions agreed without much persuasion from him.

'As long as we capture the girl, we will kill you all and take the girl back.'

This was the thought in everyone's heads and they took a black stone out of thin air before breaking it.
