'Liontalon family'

This was the family name that came to Lucas' head when he thought about the Crystalville firmament because as far as he remembers, only that family wanted him and his little brother dead.

'I wanted to live in peace with my little brother far from this firmament; however, you still want us dead.'

Lucas clenched his fists as he looked at the royal instructor in front of him.

'I will go to that family and show that I am not the one to mess with.'

With that thought in his head, Lucas controlled his anger as he asked a few more questions to the royal instructor before putting him out of his misery.

"Family head, from now on, we can't live in peace with enemies from the Alverton firmament."

After Lucas killed the royal instructor, Bernard said his thoughts with a concerned look on his face.

"I don't think they will come and even if they come, I don't think there will be so many of them."

Lucas was not at all concerned about the three forces behind the three groups of people they just killed. 

Because he still has the barrier around the Silverstone town that would protect the town from all humans below Heavenly knight or Heavenly mage ranks.

"You might think that they could enter the town using the black stones they used earlier; however, I don't think they are very easy to gather and there must be only a limited number of stones."

Lucas explained his reason for not worrying as he continued, "Moreover, don't forget we are also becoming powerful and with time we will become even more powerful."

Currently, they have two mid-level rank 5 and two low-level rank 5 spirit beasts and with the help of Lucas' skill [Lynx master], he could increase one minor rank of the lynx spirit beasts.

So, he would have a high-level rank 5 star lynx that was capable of even fighting rank 6 spirit beasts.

"Let's follow our regular training schedule and clear the dungeon more and more to become stronger."

Even though they still didn't have enough resources to strengthen his army, Lucas was not worried much about them as it would be a matter of time before he got his hands on them.

"Yes, family head."

Bernard's concerned look disappeared as he nodded his head agreeing with Lucas.

"Also, we still have some bugs lurking around our town. Shall we take care of them?"

With an evil smile on his face, Lucas asked Bernard and others who were behind him.

'Huh?'

Bernard and everyone was shocked to hear that there were more enemies lurking around the town.

However, in the next second, they excitedly nodded their heads.

"Harper and Reece, take the young lightning squad and go to the east side of the town."

"Beck and Porter, take the surge squad with you to clear the west side of the town."

"Elemental lynxes, you go to the north and south sides of the town. Take half of the lynxes each along with you."

"You all have only one order, don't leave a single one alive."

Soon, Lucas started giving them orders and as soon as they received their orders, they didn't waste any time and rushed towards the hundreds of assassins hiding around the Silverstone town.

"Family head, who are the bugs you mentioned?"

After everyone left, Bernard asked Lucas with a frown on his face.

"The bugs are assassins of this firmament."

Lucas casually replied as he walked towards the start lynx in front of him and while patting it, he replied, "According to my estimation, there must be around 1000 assassins."

"What? Thousand of them? What are their strengths?"

Bernard was shocked when he heard the huge number of assassins lurking around Silverstone town.

"According to what I know, there are a total of 20 tier 4-5 general assassins who were also the guild leaders of all 20 branches of the assassin guilds in the barren firmament. Each of them brought 50 of their strongest assassins just to kill me in case the three forces from Alverton failed to kill me."

Lucas gave brief information he had on the assassins to the old man Bernard as he continued.

"Old man, you need to stop getting shocked at every single thing. Everything is under control."

Lucas was completely relaxed and asked the old man to do the same.

"Family head, how can I stay relaxed when there are so many assassins lurking around us?"

The  old man was unable to calm down as he continued to say, "What's more, except for the two elemental lynxes, I am worried about the safety of everyone who you sent just now."

Since the elemental lynxes were low-level rank 5 spirit beasts, no one from the assassin guild could kill them unless a large group of them ganged upon them.

However, that was not the case for Harper and others. 

Even though Reece and Harper could kill half a dozen of the guild leaders, it would be a death sentence for them if they were ambushed or surrounded by a group of them.

Compared to the 20 assassin guild leaders whose strength was around tier 4-5 general assassins, their side would take a few casualties for sure.

"You underestimate Beck, Harper and Reece a lot. Don't you?"

However, Lucas shook his head and asked the old man, "Just wait for some time and you will know soon enough."

"O..okay."

Bernard was a little hesitant; however, after recalling how easily Lucas handled the situation with the three forces from the Alverton firmament, he stopped worrying and decided to wait.

"By the way, family head, where did you get all this information?"

Bernard knew that Lucas and Beck only entered the Myriad primordial forest and not to the other towns. So, he was surprised at how Lucas got so much information.

"Haha…what if I say I have someone inside the assassin guild that was pretty much a high ranking one."

With a slight smile on his face, Lucas replied to Bernard, making Bernard completely shocked.
