Stronger

[A few days later. On top of the Hokage's Building in Konoha.]

???: So you're saying this kid, Tendo Senju, Great-Grandson of the Second Hokage, may have stolen Hiruzen-Sensei's body from the village while you were all distracted? And not one of you can find this kid?"

Kakashi: "Jiraiya, the boy is very crafty. Me and Guy were fighting the invading forces so we weren't in full view of the body of the Hokage. His only two protectors were two Anbu Black Ops who were immobilized just after his defeat, we speculate that was when he took the body. It's like he knew there was going to be an interval there...."

Jiraiya: "Okay. And all of this because of his ability to steal the memories and chakra hm? Then you said Tendo and one of the Senju Clan's important members, Nodama Senju, disappeared on the same day right? This is extremely worrying. From what I gathered about his personality, he bȧrėly ever showed any loyalty to the village and didn't have any friends. He always kept conversation to a minimum. His sensei, Anko is worried about him, and if someone doesn't keep tabs on her..."

Kakashi: "She'll try to chase after him herself. Sigh, I wonder if we had let Danzo recruit Tendo into root, what would've happened? Could we have avoided this? If the Senju Clan weren't as opposed to that as they were, we could've avoided this."

Jiraiya: "It's no use crying about spilled milk, Kakashi. I will find him, no matter where he is! I can't believe someone managed to do something like that. Tracks had to have been left somewhere. I'll need a full rundown of his known abilities before I leave. Kakashi, while I'm gone, I want you to teach Naruto a certain jutsu...."

[In the Land Of Rivers]

The Land of Rivers was a country that had many Valleys, Mountainous areas, and as the country is named, Rivers. Most villages were spread far and wide apart because of the mountainous regions. This country also had its own hidden village, which was called Tanigakure meaning, Village Hidden In The Valleys.

Currently, it was night time and Tendo was outside of a village called Munakami Village. The village was fairly small as it only had a few dozen houses so Tendo could see that this was just a random village that wasn't that important. In other words, a perfect place for him to gain souls.

Tendo: 'I can do this remotely but if I need to absorb souls over a wide range, just using Wraith Execution might take a while. I need a jutsu that can destroy and absorb everything down to someone's soul but at a much farther range. I'll find a spot in the forest surrounding the village to train the Jutsu. I already have a faint idea of what I want the Jutsu to be.'

Tendo flickered off and went to a spot not too far away from the village. He knew that he had to keep his training routine up but he couldn't do everything by himself. He needed some clones to ramp up his training significantly. The only problem was that he didn't want to use the shadow clone jutsu, as it wasn't as impressive or didn't have a secondary effect like other types of clone jutsu, so that was an issue that he had to solve.

Tendo: 'I can create water clones but they don't give me any experience or information on when they disappear. My only option is to modify the water clone technique with either natural energy or add Yin/Yang release to it. Well, let me try it and see what happens.'

Tendo did a hand sign and said inwardly:

'Water Style: Water Clone.'

His chakra was already naturally infused with large amounts of natural energy from all of the training he did with the old men. He had never tried his water clone after then so he didn't know what to expect. The water clone started to form from the moisture in the air, revealing a copy of Tendo not long after.

Tendo sent the clone to train in the sword arts for about 20 minutes before dispelling it. He was disappointed but he started trying the process again soon after, this time infusing it with Yin Release as that was the style that always 'made something from nothing'. Tendo repeated the jutsu and added Yin Release to it this time. The clone formed from water that had a mystical shine to it this time around. He sent that clone to train for 10 minutes this time then dispelled it. This time, he gained results. He then made 20 of the exact same clones. Four of them trained in sword arts, four in spear arts, four in staff techniques, four in bȧrėhanded Taijutsu, and the last four absorbing natural energy with the Black Dragon Cosmic Technique. He also used his Hidden Mist Jutsu to block any hidden onlookers.

Tendo: 'I've finally succeeded. Now, I can focus on the new Jutsu. This one might be a product of combining Yin Release with other natures too. Let's see, I want a flame jutsu that can burn the body and soul of someone in under a second. It should be also much easier to combine the natures with my demonic chakra as it's already more powerful than the normal type.'

Tendo held out his hand and did a hand sign with the other, forming a medium-sized flame in his palms. He then added Yin Release to the flame and it slowly started turning black but he knew that he wouldn't be able to achieve his goal just like this. He looked at his palms and he realized that he was using the same hand that had the Dark Release mark on it. Tendo thought that maybe that would be something else to add as that is an ability to absorb chakra too. He just decided to give it a try to see what happens. As soon as he added the Dark Release, the black flames got much more unstable but Tendo slowly took his time to calm it down once more. The flame now had a purple hue to it.

Tendo called forth another water clone and threw some of the flames on it, burning it to a crisp almost instantly. There was only steam remaining after he did that. But Tendo still didn't get his intended result. That's when he had the idea of using his Wraith Execution ability, but not all over his body. He wanted it to be precise enough to be used on just that one hand. Focusing for a few minutes on his palm, black mist emerged from it and went into the flames.

The flames got unstable once again, getting out of control this time. It started burning all of the clones and the trees around him in a radius of a few hundred meters. Tendo could feel the rate of the natural energy he usually absorbs spike up momentarily, signaling his first success in the jutsu.

Tendo: 'Even the bird's souls have been absorbed huh? That's funny. But back to business, what should I name this jutsu? It's highly destructive, so it should be named as such. Hm, I got it.. How about the Flames Of Desolation.'
