Vincent, I will drop the grenade at you instead. " Matty yelled, annoyed.

"Matty?" Chris eyed him.

"Oh, now we know what you guys are planning to do." Cole cackled.

"Count me in, bud." Vin joined too.

"Good job on matching the target of kill with the winning team!" Barbie announced.

Cole quickly looked down on his wrist see they had reached their target kill now making them only three less than the Salsiku team. 

"Heard that guys?" Cole asked in an excited tone.

"Oh...oh we did," Vin replied.

Cole checked the time and they had only half of the second left of the full one minute. It was time..it was a time that any moment the game would be over and there was a good chance of them winning it and going back home.

They just had to go by the plan as stated by Chris and Matty and execute it in the right moment of time, not missing even the flash of a millisecond. 

" There you go three kills. " Matty said as he knocked down three guys.

"All we have to do now is blow that bastard down," Chris spoke.

"Exactly. Are you both there yet?" Vin interfered.

"We are almost there," Matty answered.

"Quick guys...do not rush or anything but we have only thirty seconds now. " Cole warned.

"Thirty seconds is enough for them to board the plane and come back again. We will low them out when it will be only one second left." Chris stated.

"Damn man! That is brilliant. He will have no chance to even return." Vin cheered.

"I just do not make any plans. " Chris snorted.

"Fifteen seconds guys. I just matched our kills with him. " Cole said.

"We are here...we are watching him a d his team." Chris proclaimed.

Vin looked over to see and saw them hiding by the broken tree trunk. He could not help the smile that came on his face. 

"You guys only thirteen seconds now." Cole voiced out as he resumed to knock enemies down.

They never felt this kind of excitement, rush, and thrill in a game ever than right now. The fear, the excitement, the shaking of hands, sweats on their forehead was real. 

"Five seconds Chris," Cole whispered. 

Matty pulled the grenade out from his pocket as Chris acted as his shield. He slid the metal stick out but then Chris did not notice when Sikara came and shot Matty.

"Three seconds. " Cole informed.

Vin saw what happened as he was just a few spots away from where Matty and Chris were hiding. He quickly knocked Sikara down, firing three bullets straight on his head. 

The grenade was about to fall off from Matty's hold as he got shot on his arm but Chris was quick to hold it and threw it not checking the time. 

"One-second guys!" Cole declared. 

BOOM! 

The sound echoed in the air. The land started shaking, vibrating. The drum drum sound started and everything blackened.

"Cole...Cole are you ok?" 

"He is not responding?"

"Please do something. Why is he shaking? Why are his hand and legs are shaking?" 

"Keep your voice down, please." The nurse said walking away to get the doctor.

Ivory sat down beside the small cozy hospital bed where her son had been laying for a day now. She held his hands and rubbed the back of his palm with hers to warm him up.

She regretted for leaving him alone and all by himself when the blast happened. How much afraid and hurt he must have gone through all by himself. A strand of tear fell down from her eyes. 

When she was almost done with her shift in the diner and was about to head to the strip club, her cheap mobile phone rang and she was informed of the horrifying news. Her heart stopped beating for a second but right after her feet were running on the street to get there as soon as possible.

The fire completely destroyed the front of the house, burning the furniture into ashes. She did not care about all that but thanked God a zillion times for saving her baby who was rescued with only a small injury from the top floor. The fire was not so vibrant and a big one to reach the top floor.

She remembered the feelings she felt as she saw her son being bought down by the paramedics. He was immediately rushed inside of the ambulance. She muffled her voices of cries with her hands pressed hard against her mouth as Mr. Evans, their kind neighbor, next door, a widow, informed her about it and also called the ambulance and firefighter.

He also offered to give her a ride to the hospital, Central Straight George. On the way, she almost forgot to inform his father about it but then sent a brief message right after.

The doctor said that he was stable and only lost his consciousness out of fear and the prolonged inhaling of the smoky air, got him drowsy. Ivory breathed in relief hearing the news that her only son was alright.

He was admitted to a separate nursing room and she followed there along with Mr.Evans. She could not afford to book a single nursing room but Mr.Evans paid it for it. He insisted when she refused. 

She promised to pay him back on time. Mr.Evans asked her not to be bothered by that right now but instead concentrate on her son waking up soon. 

Since then, here she was waiting for her son to wake up, open his green eyes, and see her. He was fed through the pipe inserted inside his nose. She ran her fingers over his blonde hair as she kept waiting for him to wake up.

Meanwhile, she also did not forget to check her phone for any text that his father must have had dropped but there was none. She was disappointed but then he had always had been the disappointing news of her life.

Her son was her strength and she could not bear to see him like that, laying on the bed, immobile. She prayed to the alright for a quick recovery. 

The door hung opened and the doctor came inside. He shortly stood by their side and picked up Cole's hands to check his wrist.

"He...he started shaking doctor out of nowhere. Is he...is he alright?" Ivory asked.

The doctor nodded his head, "His pulse is ok. He might be waking up anytime now. Do not worry Miss. Sullivan."

That news bought a quick smile to Ivory's worried face. " Are you not kidding doctor?" She asked in her thick British accent.

"I m not kidding, Miss. Sullivan. Call me once he is awake. The nurse will pull out those pipes now after I leave. He will be discharged after a brief checking if everything is found alright. " the doctor declared.

Ivory Sullivan nodded her head, happily. She could not believe that her little boy was alright now and would be waking up anytime now. Oh! How afraid she was before and now hearing from the doctor that he was alright, calmed her bones down.

"Good day Miss. Sullivan." The doctor said and left.

"Good day Doctor, you too." She voiced back.

Moments later, a nurse dropped by and pulled out those feeding pipes out from Cole's nostrils and also removed the saline solution. 

"Ring the bell when he wakes up." The nurse said and left.

Ivory shook her head positive. She just did not know how much more time before her son decided to grace her with his presence. She was getting restless.

She had stayed one whole day in the hospital without taking a bath and she felt dirty. But then who would look after him if she went to freshen up. 

Mr.Evans sought to stay back but Ivory denied as the man was already doing too much. He was looking after all the insurance papers of the house and also replaced the damaged furniture with second-hand ones which he said were gifted to him by his friends and he had no space in his house to keep. 

Ivory declines to keep them but the man was good in persuading even the toughest soul. So she remained quiet and patiently waited for Cole to his senses.

Cole waited as he watched the time ticking away on his wrist turned to one second and Chris dropped the grenade at the same time giving revive to Matty. 

The time turned to zero seconds and the land started vibrating, shaking as if a possible earthquake hit the place. 

Cole lost his balance as the shaking intensified and fell on the ground, closing his eyes and opening them right after.
