Who the hell was Emily again? Why did the robot keep repeating her name as if he even met her somewhere in his dreamland maybe?

'Umm...nope! Emily did not meet you in your dreamland boy! She is not an angel or a girl you dreamt about, she is a real-life person who is very much alive right now!'

Well, that was some kind of information. Cole agreed. So Emily was not a dream character or anything but a real-life person.

Did he meet her again? Where exactly did he meet her and it would be good if the robot specified the date and time along with the place where they met perhaps too.

Start??? Start for what?? He had no damn idea and why every time whenever he asked something and the robot said something entirely different, dropping more bombs making him too much curious than before.

'Don't...don't panic! I will answer your each and every question! Just take a breather, will ya!'

A breather?? The damn robot was asking him to take a breather?? Why?? If he may know??? He was dying to know everything at one glance and not complicate the situation by not knowing anything at all.

'You met Emily yesterday! Exactly six pm in Centennial park when it started to snow! '

Wait....wait what??? Emily...Emily was that lady's name which he could not see for his eyesight was weak when she showed him her identity card for a brief timing.

So..the robot knew that lady...Emily??

'Of course! I know Emily! She even helped me in setting into your body system and also programmed some of my functions back in the laboratory where I was still being bought to life!'

So it was confirmed that the robot was made by Emily, the lady whom he met and came with the offer of the lenses which seemed to have clearly corrected his vision problem but then why did she not tell him or at least gave a heads up that a talking robot was the side effect of the lens that would forever from now live inside his damn head.

'Hey...hey wait! I m not some talking robot that came as a side effect with the lenses! '

The voice flared out from his head right away the moment he thought that way. As if it was defending itself. It was being so guarded about its identity.

'In fact, you should be thanking me now! I m auto running the system which is your damn responsibility and even helped you out in the class!'

"Oh! Really? You did not help me at all... In fact, you got me into trouble. It was you...Why did you have to scan my copy out if nowhere and then reflect the answer??? Why not give me a damn heads up that you have taken my head as your renting place before??"

Cole could not help voicing all the questions put in one shot. It was too much to keep thinking in his head and have a conversation with a damn robot.

'Too many questions! Too many questions in one glance!'

"Oh! Common, you say you are an advanced model so you can handle it. I know it. Suck it up!"

Cole rolled his eyes and at the same time also looked around if someone noticed him talking to himself. Still, a talking robot was residing in his head?

It did not sit well yet!

'Wait! You are clearly blaming me for something I never did!'

Cole so much wanted to slap his forehead so that the robot would be hurt for not taking the responsibility for its own mistake for getting him into trouble back in the math class.

'Do not even think about it! I m like a soul and you can never hurt me! You will end up hurting yourself! '

Cole did not listen to what the robot just said and went ahead with his idea, hitting his forehead a little too harder than usual in a way as if he was hitting a fly on his skin so that no one would eye him weirdly.

Not to forget he was still outside, in the public world where anyone right then could address him as a psycho, or a person who had lost his senses for good of they somehow came to know that he was talking to himself and not on someone ok the phone as he kept his iPhone pressed against his ear.

'I told you, it will not have any impact on me! I m made with the help of invisible rays of waves! Do you know anything about waves?'

Cole shook his and mumbled a little "No! ", rubbing his forehead where he just hit himself.

' I figured you would not. You are barely passing in your physics and the same goes for all the subjects!'

Cole's eyes widened as he heard the robot going in through his scoresheet. Damn! How could it just go through someone's scoresheet not taking permission before??

" You just..you just can't go through my scoresheet without taking my permission!"

Cole snorted out, standing up for he had been seating there for too long now and the lunch break was going to be over anytime now.

'Well, why not?? It is not your personal diary!'

Cole could not believe the damn robot was trying to argue with him. How dare it? It was going through his stuff without even taking his permission and when he pointed it out, it started arguing with him instead of obliging.

' I believe I m not breaking any code of privacy!'

"Oh..oh you are! You see, you are going through my f.u.c.k.i.n.g scoresheet without even my knowing?"

Cole pointed out as he tried to make a damn sense with the robot who was clearly not understanding any of the things that he was saying.

He could see some eyes looking his way as he could not help but yell all that out. He breathed in a huge lump of air trying to calm his nerves down for God's sake.

'All I can say is, as I quote, "You are just being dramatic!"'

Cole was astounded as he heard what the robot answered to all the questions he flang at him.

It was calling him ' dramatic!' for goodness sake! How dare it? It was getting out of hand and to think he had to spend with it for the rest of his life if he could not be able to figure out how to get rid of it in the first place.

'Oh! Nope! You are not getting rid of me boy! You will have to cut out those lenses off from your eyes which is totally impossible unless you want to get rid of your damn eyes!'

Even before Cole could react and blurt out what he just heard, the bell went by indicating that it was time for his next period, break time was over.

Did he just hear that it was impossible to get rid of the robot? Plus it was linked with his lenses which he was quite aware of by now but then he just did not know and accept that those lenses were forever stuck to his eyes and that he could never pull them out if only if he wanted to get rid of his own eyes?

Cole held the steel pole nearby in a firm grip trying not to fall off from being senseless straight onto the ground and breaking a few bones.

'Oh and please control yourself! I have not connected myself to your limbs yet! I will be done with it by the next system update so you have full control of your limbs!'

Cole was just terrified hearing that soon enough the robot was going to take over his body, control its movement and states.

Would it even remain his own body then?? What the hell? Where was this Emily?? Why did she not warn him about all these things in between her speech of opportunity and what not??

If only if she would have at least told him something...a little maybe about all these then there was a chance that he possibly could have denied the proposal of accepting the lenses.

'Umm...nope! You would not have for you had no other option but to accept it or else you would have turned blind a long time ago! '

Cole now was getting irritated by how the robot kept speaking and talking to him. He could not even think anything now for the damn robot would get to know and start giving out his opinion on its own.

'You can always talk to me! After all, we are buddies for life, pal!'
