"Teacher Smith. He had a bad experience with Cordel. I believe that must be why."

"I see. Well, I can understand if you feel frustrated after losing against Cordel. He is practically a genius who got gifted by our Goddess with light Angas. He has a real knack for weapons as well. It is completely normal to be afraid."

Smith nods with his head while walking to me. When he reaches me, he grabs my shoulders and lightly taps them.

"But don't worry. I am sure you can become stronger in your own field. Just find where you shine bright enough and polish it. Everyone has an area where he can become the best."

"And now, I want to leave even more."

"That's why I said we should have told him."

The others are whispering loudly enough for us to hear.

Smith turns towards her with a sweet voice. Is he in love with her or something?

"What is it? Why do you look so hesitant?"

"Well, you see. Cordel did fight with Kevin but he…he lost."

"What?!!!" Smith jumps in place hearing that. What the fuck?!

"How is that?" He looks at Cordel but the liar just lowers his head, his face red with shame.

"I-I-I-I-I see. W-w-well, nothing we can do about it. After all, th-there is no absolute strength, right?"

"Are you asking me or telling me?" What is this guy's problem? Don't look at me and ask weird questions.

"S-so…Hm, where was I? No, wait, we already…" It seems Smith has lost it. It was that big of a shock learning that your favorite student lost? I should do this more often. It is quite funny to watch. Roxcia comes to him and tries to comfort him. Of course, you would do that.

While Smith is turning into a fool and Roxcia is acting all mother-like. Somebody knocks o the door. Then the person opens it without even waiting for anybody to answer.

Why are they here? Lanuvel and Keltia both came in like they own the place. They aren't wearing their uniform but just plain dresses. Though Keltia's dress still looks a bit expensive for a normal dress.

"Hello. Wait, what are guys doing?"

"Some kind of game?"

I guess for somebody who just entered, seeing a teacher on his knees with a hero by his side while I stand next to him and the others are all sitting must indeed look weird.

"Hello, Lanuvel, Keltia. Wait, where is my honey?"

Honey? What does Farner mean by honey? Ah, must be the food, I guess.

"I left it in my room. He was too agitated since somebody gave him sugar."

Lanuvel looks at me. A long and intense look, filled with curiosity and hatred.

"I still don't understand you wanted him to become an omega. He should have been expelled."

"You heard it." Lanuvel advances and stands in front of me, her hands on her waist. Just like four years ago, I am still taller than her.

"Listen, you fucker. I don't care about the heroes voting for you to become an omega student. I would bust open that mouth of yours if you show disrespect! So watch that filthy mouth of yours!"

I was so sure she would try to do something like a punch or something but she just shifted her position and stood right in front of my face again. Well, seems like she can control herself at least.

"Okay, enough, you two." Cordel stands up and walks to us. "Kevin, there is a last thing teacher Smith forgot to tell you."

"And what is it?"

"I haven't finished with you!"

"Lanuvel, please. You can do that later."

"No! This guy is getting on my nerves!"

"Okay, okay, come here, Excia said she had a good thing for you." Keltia comes and grabs Lanuvel then brings her to one of the big couches of the hall. She winks at Cordel while going.
