THAT DAY I BECAME A STAR

"Are you okay?" 

While we run to the school's building, Alphonse asks me if I am okay. It's true that he isn't sweating even one bit. That's a Diz'kar for you. Has his Angas gone infinite now? I wouldn't be surprised seeing how he…No wait, his face is glistering. He might not be sweating but still, he is affected just as we are. It's just taking more time for him. 

"I am fine. We have to hurry." 

"Yeah, I know." 

We reach the building's entrance and demolish the front door. I felt at least seven crystals presence at the groundfloor so the fight will be fierce.. Alphonse enters first then while I am behind him, I rapidly suck on three crystals and spit them out. 

Inside, we find five knights and three assassins. All of them have a crystal. Plus there are two others guys who are hiding but I can still feel the presence of the crystals inside their body. 

"You guys didn't even come out to greet us. What a lack of manners." Alphonse's voice sounds angry. Seeing his sister's state must have built up quite the rage in him, though he didn't show it until now.

"Is this normal?" 

One  of the knights points at us like we aren't even there and looks at his comrades with a doubtful face.

"What?" 

"Shouldn't the barrier sap all their strength?" 

"Yeah, it should. So?" 

So it is confirmed, this dome is weakening us. But then, how was Thando able to use Angas as well? I know that repeating it won't change anything but it was really a blunder to let him go. 

"So…Oh well, it doesn't change anything, does it?" 

"Nope, Sir Romas gave an order. We follow the order."

"Romas?" No way!!! That shit head is the one responsible?!! Fuck me and my carelessness!! I shouldn't have never let him go that day!! Now I regret even more why I left Thando leave this place alive.

The soldiers all release a dark and ominous aura then their bodies are covered by the Longinus gear as well. Do they all have that now?

"They are using that thing again?" Alphonse doesn't seem surprised to see that. 

"You saw them use it before?" 

"Yeah, when we were fighting to free the students and teachers in the other building. It is a real pain to cut it." So you even manage to do it?! Then there is no reason I shouldn't be able to.

"I see. Well, we don't have a choice if we want to move forward, do we?" 

"Nope. But are you sure you should be using that?" Alphonse looks anxiously at me after I use Raizen.

"Don't worry about me, Diz'kar." 

"Kill them. "

With a simple command of another knight staying a bit further back than the others, all of them come to us.

"Ora!!"

"Gyaa!!"

"How are they still so strong dammit?!!" 

"Just continue!! They will weaken eventually!!" 

Out of the ninve people who initially started fighting us, only five remain: three kinghts and two assassins. 

Alphonse is showing the reputation of the Diz'kars as he cuts his way through them with just his sword imbued in Angas. He has killed two knights where I only killed one. Though I killed the first two assassins as well. They were trying to act all sneaky and start using Disperse like they own the place. Sadly for them, the crescent bullets don't care about that as long as I aim them correctly. Now, I am facing another knight with Raizen and we exchange blows with brute strength like savage. 

"Fucking die already!!" 

"Why are you so imptatient?" 

I block his axe and sparks fly. His armor is already lightly fractured on the left side of the ribs so I strike there with everything I got and it flies everywhere. The arrmor actually disintegrates and flies off like piece of broken mirror.

"Argh-" Before he can any further, I bombard his head with four bullets. I am sorry mate but I am rather impatient as well today.

The last knight is still standing in front of the door leading upstairs with a solemn look and dignity. Like This is all just a warm up for him.

"Argh!!" 

Alphonse finishes up the rest of those guys rapidly and then we both look at the last one.

"Hmph! Weaklings are weaklings after all. I wonder why Madam Veronica wanted me to come here."

"So Veronica sent you, huh…" This guy is to be taken alive.

"Alphonse, we must keep this guy alive."

"Huh…okay but we shouldn't both stay here." 

Yet another tremor shakes the earth and vibrates the air as he says that. He is right, time is against us.

"Okay, you will-"

"No, you will go and I will handle him." Shouldn't you go instead?

"Why?" 

"If there are any wounded upstairs, you will be able to heal them." 

"I see." Well, that's a fair point.

"Have you worms finish?" The knight takes a stance then raises his two-hand sword in the air. "Then, here I come."

With that, he disappears but we both see him coming to me. So he thinks I am the weakest of us two? Okay, why not? Before he can reach me though, Alphonse appears and counters his strike. 

Without waiting for any other signal, I jump forward to the stairs.

"Where do y-"

"Oh no, big guy. You are dancing with me." 

I hear their swords clashing as I run up the stairs. Please guys, be safe!!

I run up the stairs and the more I do, the more this think black mist is everywhere. When I reach the highest floor of the building, the mist is covering everything.

"It is really hard to breathe in this thing."

You can't see anything. No doors, no windows, no light. Still, the mist sees to be moving  from one location to the left. 

I go there and extend my hand but instead of a door, I find a wall. But not the same kind of wall as those of the school, a wall which is just like the dome. 

"You really think this is going to stop me?"

I grba it with both hands then just like before, it burns my hands while I tear it open and enter.

"Ahhh!!!"

I push my foot through the gap I created first then my lower body and finally my upper body.

"Huff…Huff…"

"You…" Romas's voice immediately resounds then I hear something cutting through the wind while coming to me. I evade it and as I look up, I see everyone…Almost everyone.

All of them are tied up to the black, sticky-like walls of the room and there are roots running through their bodies. Romas is standing next to…an angas pool? Why is there an angas pool here? I say a pool but is it more of a pit the size of carriage that goes through the floor.

Also, the bastard is holding Samson by the hair right now. There is also a pillar of sort at the end of the room. That's the source of the dome. This cannot be good. I should take care of this guy fast.

"How did you reach this place?"

"Kevin!!" 

Like the sound of a horn, Lanuvel calls my name. Everyone seems to wkae up after that as I can see some eyes opening while I am evading the attacks of the man before me. 

"Deal with him already! I am trying to concentrate he-" I launch a bullet a him and Romas is forced to released Samson's unresponsive body who falls to the ground, right near the pit.

"Fuck!!" 

"Kriekk!!"

Finally, the man I am dodging exhales a Longinus scream and throws his hand at me. I cut it off but then that hand transforms like the roots of a tree and pins me to the floor while piercing through a lot of places in my body.

"Ugh…" As expected, it hurts. I can feel pain everywhere. I left my guard down too much.

"It is done, sir."

Without a care for me, the man immediately turns around to Romas who is standing back up and kneels with his head lowered. His hand completely forms back meanwhile. 

"You fucking incompetent!!" 

Romas runs to him and kicks him. 

"You are below me!! All of you are below me!!" He does so numerous times until finally, his anger settles down.

"Huff…Huff…Don't you forget that you are below me…Huff... Protecting me is your priority."

"I shall never forget it again." The guy answers like all those kicks were just child's play. Well, since I can sense four crsytals in him alone. I am not surprised. The surprise actually comes from Romas from who I can't sense any crystals.

"Now, who do we have here?"

"…Don't you dare hurt him!!" 

Farner's voice finally comes out. It seems she has woken up. Not just her, when I look around, Excia, Roxcia, everyone has their eyes open. The faces of the heroes also look dirty and a bit beaten up.
