The 1.000 year Great Sage ---> COMPLETED STORY

While the tentacles pierced Talya's body, they stopped, nearly touching Seya with the tip. Talya used her light sword to cut the three tentacles with one strong blow. With the tentacles still piercing her, she jumped to the grey Demonoid and with a downward slash filled with her last Light Magic, she cuts it into two pieces. As soon as she fell over the grey Demonoid with such a deadly wound, Seya knew that he only had seconds to save her. But before he could throw his Healing Magic, a medium Demonoid ate Talya's head in a single bite. The rest of her body was quickly eaten.

Titania saw from a distance her daughter being decapitated, and she lost her mind. She started to scream and in a sudden rage, she killed every Demonoid that was in her path to get near Talya remains, getting some nasty cuts and open wounds when she pierced the bodies of the Demonoids ahead of her, from one side to the other. But she was a moment too slow.

Seya rushed to the place where Talya was eaten and he threw Light Magic around, to find any piece of muscle, skin or hair of Talya. He used Healing Magic to put everything together, but he could only find one arm and two legs. The rest was absorbed by the Demonoids that ate her. Seya screamed again to his Communicator, but this time, it was an order.

- Everyone, stop making Magic Crystal! Kill any Demonoid that appears in front of you! Be careful, there are some grey Demonoids that are more powerful and intelligent than the others! If you can't kill a Demonoid, immobilize him by cutting all its tentacles! If you can't, retreat! You have thirty minutes to clear this Island of every Demonoid! After that, I am going to obliterate everything!

Seya fell to his knees and he cried while still holding Talya's arm and legs. Her bright blood was all over him, making him glow. From his left, a Gateway appeared and ten of Gaya's Magic Knights appeared. Gaya spoke, and she sounded sad.

Seya was crying his eyes out. Everything was wrong! Talya died to protect him, Titania was apologizing when it should be him apologising for causing the death of her daughter and so many others, on that stupid attack of his.

- No… I am the one… to blame… all this… is my fault… I only wanted to help… everyone!

That was the last drop. With this, I abandoned my work as an Examiner, and I appeared near Seya.

- Hello, young Seya. I am at your disposal. I am Examiner Tilia. I came to help you and I hereby abandon my work as your Examiner. From now on, anything that happens will make the Council of the Gods forgive me or condemn me. So, how can I help?

Seya gave one tighter hug to Queen Titania and asked.

Titania nodded and she got up.

- Yes. I will go help Ryn. If those two want to help, they can take care of another grey Demonoid, if they have the courage for that!

Titania flew at high speed and Seya went to grab his protective string. After putting it around his neck again, he put the remains of Talya in his Compressed Dimension.

- I'm going to help Heiji and Xenya next, they seem to be in great danger. You two can go and take care of any grey one that you see. If possible, capture them alive. Titania may want to kill them herself.

While I was vanishing, Seya waved at me, trying to smile. Next, I can only tell what happened near me. About the others, I was told later what happened.

I started to slash with my sword the nearest tentacle connection, while Duncan and the Mages were hitting the same spot with their Magic. In a matter of minutes, the grey Demonoid lost all of his tentacles, even the small ones around his mouth. In the end, we all heard his voice inside our heads.

- …||… Die! Demonoid eat everything! Demonoid rule world! …||…

He was giving me a headache, so I started to slash his body while Duncan was throwing more Fire Spears. When I heard him scream, I shouted.

- Shut up or we are going to take your head next! Stop struggling, you lost!

Rolland was in charge of the protection of the camp where the Healing Division was, together with Sully, Cemil, and Null Denar'an. Rolland was shouting orders to a group of RabbitKind soldiers near him.

- Protect the left flank! Don't let those things break your side or the wounded will be eaten! We must absolutely provide time for the Healers to do their work!

Sully threw a huge rock made with his Earth Magic against a group of medium-sized Demonoids, that suddenly came out from a new hole on the ground, at three meters from the protective wall that he created. That wall was surrounding the camp where Ana was working and the Demonoids were continuously attacking it, trying to get in.

- These ugly things don't stop coming! If I could use my Dark Magic, this would stop in two seconds!

Cemil shouted from his left while firing a line of rock marbles, from over the wall to the horde that was coming.

- Stop saying that! Because of your way of 'fight and then think', you almost killed all our troops! You heard the order, no Dark Magic!

- I know, but I still don't understand how is that possible! I never lost control of my Magic! Never!

Cemil bitted her lips while firing more rock marbles.

- Maybe Seya was right and there is a weird Demonoid doing that!

Null was gasping for air, trying to regain his breath.

- We must do our very best, then! Aunt Anna has more work over there than us, and I never saw her giving up! Come on father, throw more rocks, I need to rest for a while, I am almost passing out! Xenya won't stop mocking me if do that!

Sully was worried, everyone was spending more Magic and more energy than they should, to protect the camp of the wounded. If the Demonoids didn't stop attacking for the troops to recover, things could turn out horribly wrong.

On Gabryel's side, things went better. When he landed near Hina, he was able to prevent a tentacle from hitting her, by cutting it with a Light Slash. Zak was on the other side of the Demonoid, throwing Wind Slash one after the other, cutting every tentacle that he could see. Gabryel had to rush to get near him after talking with Hina, to warn him.

- Don't kill this grey one, Seya wants to question it! Let's just immobilize this thing and prevent a Demonoid from eating it!

Zak was looking at him, puzzled by that stranger in front of him.

- I can sense that you have an absurd amount of Magic, are you a Dragonoid?

- No, I am way more powerful than those guys! Watch this!

Gabryel threw two Wind Slashes that when getting near the grey Demonoid, separated into ten little Slashes. The last two tentacles were cut into small pieces, as easy as that.

Gabryel winked one eye to Zak.

- See? They have hard skin, but my Wind is sharper! Let's go near Lady Hina and capture this thing! Remember, we need to kill any Demonoid that wants to eat him! I think that as soon as we capture this one, every Demonoid around will try to get past us, to eat it! Let's use that thing as bait, shall we?

Zak nodded and he shouted, with his voice amplified by a Crystal. A circle of Mages, LizardKind, BeastKind, and Human soldiers joined him, Hina, and Gabryel, around the grey Demonoid and they spent the next thirty minutes killing any Demonoid that tried to eat it.
