The 1.000 year Great Sage ---> COMPLETED STORY

When Titania arrived near Ryn, the fight was almost over. There were BeastKind and Human corpses all around. Only little Aria, Lionelia, a few students, Mages, and soldiers were still fighting the small Demonoids that were coming from a hole in the ground, behind Ryn. She was surrounded by her strong Water Bubble and her Water Tentacles sharp as blades were slicing the last tentacles of the grey Demonoid. There were already two big Demonoids on the ground, cut into pieces. It seems those ones fought first and they lost. When Ryn was about to cut the Demonoid's head, Titania flew and she stood at her front, stopping her.

- Wait, Ryn, don't kill him yet! Seya wants to capture this one alive! Let's just kill any Demonoid around! You have only a few soldiers, things were worst near me and Seya, but you sure had a lot of work!

- Yeah, this grey one used the Dark Magic of the RabbitKind that were with me, to kill everyone! And those two big Demonoids were protecting him, it took me a lot of time to kill them so that I could fight this one!

- You did well, dear Ryn! Are you hurt?

Before Ryn could answer, the body of two big Demonoids fell nearby. Titania looked up and she saw the sky filled with Dragonoids, fighting a horde of big Demonoids that were on the ground, at twenty meters distance from the grey Demonoid, and getting near him. Titania looked back at Ryn.

- I will be right back, let me take care of those guys before they kill any Dragonoid or they reach here!

Titania flew as fast as light and she stopped near one injured Dragonoid. He had lost one arm and his left-wing had a big hole, but he was still fighting. Titania shouted, and the air trembled.

- Dragonoids, land and contain that grey Demonoid! I will take care of these ugly things!

Every Dragonoid in the sky that heard her immediately went near Ryn. Only the injured Dragonoid, a young one, judging by the colour of its scales, was stubborn enough to question Titania.

- Who are you, annoying little Fairy? Do you think you can order me around …

He wasn't able to finish, Titania threw an enormous ball of Light to his big head that knocked him out. He fell to the ground, from more than five meters high. Titania didn't even look to see if he was alright, Dragonoids were though, a mere fall won't kill one. She took a moment to gather her Magic and threw ahead of her one Light Net and another one that came falling from the sky, on top of the horde of Demonoids. As soon as the two nets cut them, they crumbled to the ground, forming piles of small cubes. She looked around, to sense any Demonoid in the vicinity. She flew back to Ryn and two Dragonoids carried the one that she knocked down. Titania landed next to Ryn and shouted.

- Grab any injured and bring them near this grey Demonoid! Anyone still able to fight, form a circle to protect the injured! Let's use this grey Demonoid as bait! Any Demonoid that tries to eat this guy, kill it!

Little Aria rushed to Titania, carrying a soldier over her tiny shoulders. The soldier was knocked out, with his head wounded and his feet were dragging over the floor.

- Lucky for me, I am stronger than I look! Here, take this guy while I go grab another one!

She threw the soldier at Titania and she almost didn't have time to prevent his head from hitting the ground, before Aria left to get more wounded while fighting her way through a group of Demonoids that appeared from behind a rock.

While most of the troops stayed behind to prevent the grey Demonoid from being eaten, she was running around, bringing more wounded soldiers or body parts that she could gather from the ground, while cutting every Demonoid tentacle that approached her swords. When there was no one else alive that needed rescue, she started to bring the dead, to prevent their bodies from being eaten. She may look like a little girl, but she is indeed a fierceful warrior, with the LizardKind Three-Swords Style. Not even once, a Demonoid threatened her life while she did her very best to not kill any of those beings. As for the tentacles, those were a different story. After ten minutes, there were piles of tentacles, all around, and Aria kept on fighting.

While I, Gabryel and Titania were preventing the grey Demonoid that we had from being eaten, Seya arrived at Xenya and Princess Heiji's location. They were throwing Fire Balls and Light Slashes to the Dark Magic Wall, without any kind of success. But the Demonoids behind it were throwing their tentacles through it, trying to hit the nearest soldier or Mage. The teenager Aria was in front of the soldiers, slashing every tentacle that she saw and making sure that not even one of the fighters behind her, was in danger. Seya landed near Xenya and Princess Heiji and shouted to the soldiers and Mages.

- Get ready to kill the Demonoids that escape me, I'm going to get rid of that Dark Wall!

Heiji looked at him with a worried face while still throwing Fire Balls against the Wall.

- Are you ok? I heard Gaya screaming for someone to help you!

- I am more or less ok. Talya died to protect me. And for what I saw, hundreds of people died because of my mistake. I underestimated the Demonoids…

Heiji frowned.

- Do you mind feeling pity for you when all this is over? We are in trouble here! That Dark Wall can sustain my Magic! I can't stop attacking to gather more Magic to use a powerful attack because if I stop, they start to advance!

- Ok, gather your Magic and get ready to hit them all. I am going to make a Light Wall to stop them, you need to throw your Magic over it. Xenya, you too, throw everything that you got over my Wall. I don't want to capture those two grey Demonoids, they are way too dangerous, I just want them dead.

Heiji increased her Magic. Her hair was already bright red, but then, living flames were appearing around her. Xenya was glowing, she looked like a sun! Seya threw a Light Wall that stopped near the Dark one of the grey Demonoids. He then used his most powerful Magic, the one that he learned when he was still a baby, Magic Collect. He started to absorb the Dark Wall and throwing all that Magic into his Compressed Dimension, to fill the Crystals in there. The grey Demonoids started to scream in panic and everyone around, heard them.

- …||… No! Great Sage lives! Kill Great Sage! Kill! …||…

As soon as the Dark Wall disappeared, the grey Demonoids were the first to attack, followed by the hundreds of Demonoids that were near them, only to be stopped by Seya's Light Wall.

- Heiji and Xenya, now, while I hold them!

Heiji raised her both hands and a huge Fireball appeared at more than ten meters high, in the sky. Xenya was making hundreds of small Light Balls and she spread them in a line, all along Seya's Wall. Heiji was the first, followed by Xenya.

- 'Fire Meteor!'

Heiji's Fire Magic was sent over the Light Wall and the explosion vaporized every Demonoid in a radius of two hundred meters. It even made a crater of more than one hundred meters deep and Seya's Light Wall had a lot of trouble, to prevent the explosion from hurting the soldiers. The small Light Balls of Xenya were sent over the wall and they went ahead, piercing everything from one side of the Island till the other. But Xenya was still concentrated, because she connected her Magic to every Light Ball, to follow their path, making sure to change their course when there was anyone ahead that wasn't a Demonoid. Seya was looking at that, and he sensed the way Xenya was controlling the Light Balls. When the Light Balls reached the end of the Island, their Magic dissipated.

- So cool… Xenya, since when can you do that?

Xenya fell to her knees, dead tired.

- I made this… for the first time… some days ago… as a preparation for today… but it's so tiring…

- If you could use it a few more times, you would be able to kill every Demonoid on this Island!

- Sorry… I can't…

Seya rushed to Xenya before she collapsed. He healed her under the worried look of Princess Heiji.

- Yeah, she can't do that again.

Seya waited for his sister to recover and he looked around, thinking.

- We need a way to clean up this Island, or we will never going to turn this into a Magic Crystal… if those Light Balls could…

Then, he looked up. Of course, the sky, where the Goddess Aria was! From there, he could see the entire Island. Seya grabbed his Communicator Crystal.

- Zak, Arys, I need you to join the Goddess Aria up there, in the sky! We are going to kill the remaining Demonoids, in one clean strike! Or two! Queen Titania, you too! Heiji, follow me!

Seya flew up in the sky, with Princess Heiji right behind him. They stopped near the Goddess, she was crying non-stop.

- Seya… all this… so many deaths… my people… I can't stand this any longer…

- Pull yourself together, you are the Deity of this world, your people need to see your courage and strength!

Aria tried to stop crying, but she was only able to cry in silence, while all her body was trembling. Zak, Arys and Titania appeared near Heiji and they noticed the sad look on Aria's face. They understood why she was like that and they didn't say a word. Seya started to gather his Light Magic.

- Queen Titania, Xenya gave me an idea. Can you sense the Dark Magic of the Demonoids, only the dark ones?

- Yes, of course, even from this distance I can sense every single one of them down there, fighting our troops.

- Right, then use your Light Magic and make a line from here, to those things' heads. You will be like a spider in the centre of a web. I will do the same. From the middle of the Island to the left it's your web, from the centre to the right, it's mine. Zak and Arys, make hundreds and hundreds of small rock marbles, like the ones that you used at school to pierce the wall targets. Throw those marbles along every Light Line and use Wind Magic to make them go faster. Heiji, small Fire Balls, very concentrated. I will also use rock marbles. Queen Titania, small Light Balls through the Light Lines. Make sure to use the Light Lines to grab Zak and Arys' rock marbles and drive them straight to the Demonoid at the end of each line. We can call this attack, 'Death from Above!'. Let's start, people are in trouble down there!

By the use of Wind Magic or Fire Magic on the back of the marbles, together with the gravity of the world and the pulling from the Light Lines, the marbles went at great speed, straight to the head of every Demonoid on the Island, piercing them from one side to the other, only stopping at twenty meters deep below ground. Ten minutes later, Seya and Titania couldn't sense any dark Demonoid alive. At least, above ground. Underground, they weren't sure.

As soon as every dark Demonoid was dead around me and Ryn, I returned to my work as an Examiner, near Seya.

Seya was still looking to the Island beneath them, trying to sense a dark Demonoid. He looked towards Aria.

- Can you sense something underground? We are too far away…

Aria concentrated and nodded her head.

- Yes, there are three grey Demonoids and more or less two hundred small Demonoids in a circle, protecting them. But two of the grey ones are giving birth to smaller Demonoids, at the speed of… one every five seconds, after they eat a dark tentacle… blargh, disgusting…

Seya made a small smile.

- So, we have time, until their numbers increase again… Queen Titania, let's have a talk with the grey Demonoids that are still alive.

Titania had a scary look on her face.

- Yes… I am going to punish them for all this, very slowly…

Seya looked at Aria, she wasn't looking very good.

- My sweet and kind Goddess, maybe it's better if you don't see what we are about to do. It won't be pretty.

Aria nodded her head very slowly.

- Yes… I am also curious about the grey Demonoids but I will wait here. Tell me when I need to move my barriers. I need some time to prepare a few things, to help the dead people down there…

Seya made a light bow and he then turned to face the others.

- Zak, Arys and Heiji, go to your grey Demonoid to prevent any dark Demonoid from eating it.

He flew to Ryn, to the grey Demonoid that was able to use the Dark Magic of other beings. That one was very dangerous. Titania followed him while the others went to their captive grey Demonoid. As soon as Seya landed, Ryn and Lionelia came to him. They hugged him while making sure that he was alright. Seya hugged them back and tried to put the grey Demonoid inside his Compressed Dimension. The grey Demonoid looked straight at him, and when Seya's Dark Magic was starting the Compressed Dimension, it looked that it was changing to form Dark Spears. Ryn reacted instantly, she threw a Water Tentacle that wrapped the grey Demonoid's head and she squeezed. He struggled for a while, and Seya's Dark Magic trembled. After another squeeze, he gave up and he disappeared inside the Compressed Dimension.

- These guys don't give up easily… Thanks, Ryn, I had a Light Slash ready to cut his head, but it was better like that. Now, you and Lionelia, gather the students and turn this Island into Crystal. I will do the same, as soon as I contain every grey Demonoid.

Seya started to sense the Magic of the next grey Demonoid and opened a Gateway. On the other side, Hina and Gabryel were looking at him. Before they could say anything, Seya told Hina to began the Crystallization process and threw the grey one into his Compressed Dimension. Next, was the grey Demonoid of Princess Arys. In just a few seconds, Seya and Titania were back were Seya was supposed to be, at the South part of the Island. He grabbed the Communicator Crystal and called Gaya.

- Gaya, tell everyone to begin the Crystallization of the Island. There are still two hundred Demonoids underground, and more are being born. We have time to finish this, but we must finish before those things attack again. The soldiers, Mages, Phoenix, Dragonoids and Mermaids must protect the ones that are going to turn this Island into Magic Crystal.

When Gaya was sending his message, Seya made a Light Dome around him and Titania, one big enough to contain inside the three grey Demonoids. When he took them out by throwing a small dark dot to his front, the grey Demonoid that could control Dark Magic, started to shout threats.

- …||… Great Sage! You die! Demonoids kill! Demonoids eat! Demonoids evolve! …||…

- You won't do anything. You will just answer me and die. It's on your own interest to tell me everything that I want to know. If you delay your answers, I will hurt you a lot. You will beg me to kill you.

- …||… We silent! Demonoids kill! Demonoids eat! Demonoids evolve! …||…

- Stupid stubborn…

Seya threw a Wind Slash to the grey Demonoid near him, taking a slice from its back. It screamed in pain, a long and loud scream. Seya covered his ears, the screaming was too much.

- They make a lot of noise, don't they? Now, you two, I want to know who was the one to think on your plan, the one that organized and controlled the dark Demonoids that killed so many of my troops. It was the one that's still underground or did you help him? I also want to know if there are more grey Demonoids like you three and the three that are still underground. I was told that you were ten but I want to be sure.

Since they kept on repeating the same threat, they lost a slice as well. The screams of the three Demonoids were making a headache to Seya and Titania. Seya made a Water Bubble around him and Titania and used his Wind Magic so that they could breathe in there while muffling the screams.

- Much better, right? So, my beautiful Fairy Queen, these three don't want to talk. Either they are just stupid and can only do their tasks, or they are delaying us, to get rescued. Either way…

Seya threw three Wind Slashes and three more slices from each Demonoid fell on the ground. More screaming, more slashes, and more screaming. Seya asked again and they kept on repeating the threats. That only made them lose more slices.

- I don't have time for this. Maybe I shouldn't kill them, because if it was indeed me that made them evolve, this is all my fault and responsibility. I don't want to eradicate a sentient and intelligent species, but they don't have a place in this world. Inside a Compressed Dimension, the Demonoids can continue on living, there will be enough Dark Magic to feed them. But these grey Demonoids are too dangerous. My Queen, do you want to make them suffer? Because I'm going to kill the Thinker that's hiding underground, and I also need to do my part of the work on the Crystallization of this Island.

- You can leave me here. Take this Water Bubble from me, I want to hear them scream and beg for mercy, while I slice them alive. Be careful, ok? I will take care of this… very slowly and painfully…

Titania had a weird angry look. Even her light was strange, it was trembling and getting brighter. She was really angry. Seya did as she asked and left. As soon as he got out from the Light Dome, he couldn't hear the screams. Gaya's Knights surrounded Seya, to protect him.
