The 1.000 year Great Sage ---> COMPLETED STORY

After the students returned to school, Seya went to his Laboratory and grabbed his television. He then returned to the Cave where the Gateway Arches were and made a table and a chair in a corner away from the Arch to Earth. While he was eating some bread and drinking tea, brought to him by one of Gaya Knights, he syntonised the television to every news channel that he could remember, trying to find something about the Arch that he placed. After some time, he could only find a local news channel talking about the Arch and a strange Knight completely still, that could be seen through it. Seya frowned.

- This is taking too long…

He put on his Mage Robe and his Staff and went to the front of the Arch. On the other side, a small crowd was looking at him. Seya waved at them and increased his Magic. He became surrounded in Fire Magic, then in Light Magic to contain the Fire. Before the crowd on Earth, a strange man with a hood covering his face was surrounded by flames that seemed alive, because of the way that they twisted and twirled. Some youngsters used their cell phones to record everything. Seya smiled under the hood, that should do it. He then bowed and left the cave. Gaya's Knight remained where it was, looking at the Arch.

Seya went to his Laboratory, to continue on his horse's research while on the other side of Earth's Arch, the crowd was increasing, and more reporters were arriving. After one hour, the Japanese army arrived to create a safety cord around the Arch. A truck arrived, with scientists and a movable laboratory. When one of the older scientists tried to cut a slice from the Gateway Arch for analysis, an alarm ringed on both Arches, on Earth and on Gaya. Seya arrived immediately and stood in front of the Arch. The scientist on the other side was surprised, looking at the Arch that was blinking and making an absurdly loud sound. When he saw Seya on the other side, he saw him shaking his head and pointing a finger to the Arch. Seya touched the Arch on Gaya and turned off the alarm. He then spoke in his best Japanese language. Even if he only learned it over books on Aku Kiro's Dojo, he was hoping that the scientist could understand him.

- 'Alarm off!'. Do you mind not damaging the Gateway Arch? That one has a very powerful security measure and if you damage it too much, you may activate it. You and most of the people around it, will not survive the blast. If I need to make another Arch in another place because you destroyed that one, it will be troublesome for me.

The scientist was looking at the Arch in panic and he asked.

- You mean… this is a bomb?

Seya shook his head.

- No, it's just a Magical passage between our Worlds. But I infused on it that type of security measure, to prevent a criminal to mess with it. Or someone that didn't know what he was doing…

The scientist was looking back at Seya, puzzled by his words.

- What do you mean by a Magic passage between worlds?

Seya rolled up his eyes and he looked to the group of scientists nearby.

- Is this guy stupid or my Japanese is so difficult to understand? Do any of you mind approaching so that I can explain myself? And take this idiot from my sight, I never had any patience for stupidity.

A younger scientist slowly raised his hand.

- If I could be allowed to approach, I want to ask something…

Seya raised one eyebrow, evaluating the one that spoke. He couldn't be more than 25 years old, but his inquisitive look was amazing.

- You look promising… Come, you may have doubts about this and I won't mind explaining, because…

Before Seya could finish, a gunshot a bullet into his direction. A soldier right in front of the security cord, too nervous by the strange figure of a man dressed in a black robe, fired directly at Seya's head. A lot of people at the back of the security cord and the reporters were filming that sudden attack. Seya just remained completely still, looking at the soldier while the bullet crushed against the Light Barrier on Gaya's side. He made a small smile and spoke.

- My turn…

Seya pointed the palm of his hand to the front and a small dark dot crossed the Arch. When it enlarged, his Dark Wall imbued with a Compressed Dimension spread on every direction, stopping at the security cord. On its path, it took every piece of metal. Cars, the laboratory truck, some belts and all the guns of the soldiers. When everyone was too dumbfounded to say anything, he spoke.

- Do you mind avoid trying to kill someone before you understand that this is a great opportunity for your World? I know soldiers are supposed to obey orders without even thinking, but you must avoid doing stupid things against me. This time, I only took your weapons. Next time, I may take your heads. I don't like when someone tries to kill me.

That speech in a hoarse voice, together with the Dark Magic that was around him, made Seya sound really threatening. The young scientist that was in front of the Gateway Arch was trembling but still, he asked.

- What… was that…

- Just self-defence. Or was I the only one that saw that stupid soldier over there trying to kill me in cold blood?

- No… I saw… Everyone saw it. I want to know, what was that dark thing that took the weapons and the cars? That was impossible!

Seya smiled and he looked around to the soldiers while he answered.

- That was only a small demonstration of my Magic. On this World, that's not impossible. In here, what is impossible is metal aeroplanes full of people, flying all over, as you have in there. So, you have a question, if I recall correctly.

- Yes… What is this Arch? Does it really connect to another World? And… who are you? Why are you here?

- Like I said, this is a Magic passage between our Worlds. I am the Half-Breed Great Sage, Seya 'Tally' Denar'an Hinamoto, of the Ariansyl World. I came in search of a treaty between our Worlds. I have already contacted two other Worlds, and with Earth, we will be four Worlds that could help each other to evolve and grow even more.

His words were recorded by the reporters for the entire World to see, all according to his plan. The young scientist was looking at the Arch, thinking how was possible for a thing like that to be a passage.

- But… how this works… There's no such thing like Magic on Earth…

- That was my doing, as well. I figured out a way for the Magic from this World, to go to Earth. In a few years, there will be as much Magic in there, like we have here. Earth itself, will be able to create new Magic, like on this World. With time, Humans will also be able to create Magic, like everyone else that lives in here. But I am talking too much, you guys need time to think about everything that I said, and I must return to my work, I have a very important project that still needs my full attention. I still didn't have lunch, I am feeling hungry.

Seya made a slight bow to the scientist and to everyone else that was looking at him over the Gateway Arch and he left the cave, after warning the Knight to call for him if something weird happened but to not talk to the Humans on the other side. Gaya's Knight nodded and remained there, completely still in front of the Arch.

He went to the Dining Room, to have a late lunch. It was almost empty, with only a few BeastKind talking on some tables and almost finishing their meal. Seya ate the lunch that a young Maid quickly brought to him with a smile on her face. He thanked her and she turned bright red while quickly exiting to the kitchen again.

On Earth, the footage of the soldier firing at him, Seya's Magical response and what he said to the young scientist, spread throughout the World. People on the streets were talking about it, talk shows on television were exploring every possibility how the discovery of more Worlds with intelligent beings, would influence Earth and Humans. Every government of every country were making urgent meetings, to decide on their next move on how to interact with Seya and his World while others were trying to figure out a plan to favour their country and their greedy personal agendas.

Seya was in his Laboratory examining a horse that he brought from his parents' house, with his special binocular and a Light Window over the horse's body to see the inside of him. From time to time, Seya made a quick break to take a look at the news on the television in the Arches Cave.

He watched with increased expectation and curiosity, some talk shows and some interviews done by news channels, to normal people on the streets. The images of his appearance at the Gateway Arch were running over and over, in between the talk shows and interviews. Eventually, Presidents from every country started to address their own country over that matter, along with some information about urgent requests to the government of Japan, to allow the visit of Ambassadors of various countries in an attempt to talk with the Knight on the other side or with the man with the Mage dark Robe and Staff.

Some disturbing news upset him, when later that day, two Presidents implied that the Japanese government could be attempting to keep any information or power that they could get by the Magic that was flowing through the Gateway Arch, for some hidden plan and maybe it would be better to destroy that strange Arch. That was what made him rush to the Arch Cave, to clarify any misunderstanding.

- …||… Father, there are some people in there that demanded to talk to you. I didn't say anything, to not scare them. But that only made them angry. …||…

- Yeah, I can see them… Let me handle this, don't worry.

Seya covered his head with the hood and approached the Earth Arch. On the other side, there were soldiers with guns and there were even two heavy tanks with the cannons pointing at the Arch. He immediately threw a dark dot trough the Arch that increased and the Dark Wall that appeared took every metal inside the security cord area. He looked around to the soldiers that were looking at their empty hands and the ones that were inside the tanks and now, were seated on the ground. Behind a group of soldiers and some guys in suits, Seya recognised the Prime Minister of Japan, he had seen him during the day, addressing the people on the television. Next to him, another group with men that looked foreign politicians. Seya bowed to him and spoke in his rusty English.

- Prime Minister, it's an honour meeting you. I am the Half-Breed Great Sage, Seya 'Tally' Denar'an Hinamoto. I am sorry for my actions just now, but I don't trust your soldiers' judgment. Early this day, one of them tried to kill me while I was posing no threat to anyone.

The Prime Minister talked briefly with his securities, and even with them shaking their heads and advising to not approach the Arch, he walked in Seya's direction. He stopped at two meters distance and retributed the bow.

- It's also an honour meeting you. Even though the appearance of this Arch without proper authorization, could be seen as an invasion.

Seya tried to reassure him and continued to speak in English, more for the foreign politicians than to the Minister.

- That was never my intention to be mistaken as an intruder to your beautiful country. If you prefer, I can remove that Arch from there and reposition it on another country less suspicious of my actions. I saw the news on the television, there are a lot of countries that for sure won't mind receiving me.

That alarmed the Minister and he quickly shook his head.

- No, that won't be necessary! I am very pleased about having you visiting us! But… You saw on television? How?

- I have one Magic equipment that works like a television and I modified it to be able to receive channels from all over Earth, through this Gateway Arch. That's why I came here to talk to you and to those Ambassadors that you have behind you. If I am not mistaken, there's China, India, South Korea, U.S.A and England. If you won't mind, I will continue to speak in English, for them to understand me, if they approach this Arch. If they are afraid, it's their loss. I am almost sure that if one of them is too coward to talk to me, tomorrow he will be replaced by their Prime Minister.

At the back, the Ambassadors rushed to get free from their own security and joined the Minister of Japan. Before they could say anything, Seya explained.

- Good Afternoon. I choose this place on purpose because Mount Fuji can be seen in that direction and such beautiful Mountain near this peaceful National Park, seemed a perfect location for my first appearance. It was also my personal preference because our World had an enormous influence over the last 1.000 years by my predecessor, a Great Sage that reincarnated here, after being killed by an Empress on the Tokugawa shogunate. She spread the way of life of the Samurais, together with the Bushido Code. Besides being a powerful Mage, I am also a Samurai, a true master of the sword and a follower of the Bushido Code. If the Prime Minister knows his history, he understands perfectly what I am saying and he won't feel insulted if I say that even if I recognize him as an authority in Japan, my loyalty goes to the Japanese Emperor, right after my loyalty to my own King.

The Minister nods, while the foreign Ambassadors were looking at him, surprised by Seya's words.

- I see… If that's true, the Emperor will for sure want to meet you. But I think I can speak for all of us if I say that everyone is curious about your World.

Seya made a deep bow.

- It would be a great honour, to meet the actual Emperor and offer him my sword and loyalty. If I can dissipate some of your doubts, I can say that Millennia ago, our Goddess came to this World and she invited some Humans to come with her, to populate this World. Besides Humans, we have more Races that came from other Worlds that she invited as well. Before my predecessor, 2.000 years ago, a Templar Knight was brought here and he influenced the Human Kingdom in the north of our World, in not a very good way. Some time ago, the Human Empire tried to engage in war with an allied Kingdom. It was defeated in a single day without any casualties on either side. I had a lot to do with that, actually. After that stupid attempt to conquer other Kingdoms, I devised a plan to change the government in the Human Empire. It's now called Human Conclave. I could spend hours talking about this World, but I would prefer to speak to every country at the same time, I don't like to repeat myself and waste my valuable time.

The Minister was nodding during Seya's explanation and at the end, he smiled.

- I see that you have a very peculiar faith and Myth, about your Goddess and how Humans went to your World.

Seya interrupted him by raising his hand.

- It's not only faith or Myth, it's our real History. Your God prefers to let you choose your own path so that you never feel like you are losing your free will. Our Goddess, on the other hand, likes to interfere and guide her people. It's working so far, despite her own Mother disapproves that. But considering that on this World everything his peaceful and on the Myshkasyl World, the beings in there were engaged in a never-ending war, I guess you can say she's actually doing a good job.

The Minister and the Ambassadors were surprised by hearing him talking about their own God, like if he really knew something that they didn't. The Ambassador of England asked.

- I am sorry for intruding, but how can you be so sure about how our God does things?

- I had a very interesting meeting with a group of powerful entities and they explained some things to me. But I don't know if I am allowed to say more than I have already said, so it's better if we don't discuss this matter any further. At least, until I can ask my Goddess if I can reveal anything.

The English Ambassador looked shocked, but he still managed to ask.

- Well… That's… You said that there was a Templar Knight in your World? And he was a bad influence on the Humans? Why?

- For sure you know your History, so, it won't be a surprise if I tell you that the Templar Knight was not only amazing, but he was also a little maniac and very strict. He started to influence the minds of the Humans in not a very good way, making them act violently and being xenophobic against the other Races that live on this World.

The Ambassador stuttered by that sudden revelation.

- That… You mean… there are other Races that live in your World?

- Yes. This world is like a Fantasy World that you can find on many books and games on Earth. In fact, our Goddess visited Earth to get some ideas to create beings to populate this World. And she also visited two Worlds besides Earth, to find some settlers. In here, there's Dragonoids, Mermaids, Fairies, Elfians, Dwarfs, BeastKind and LizardKind. Among the BeastKind, there's the RabbitKind and some other ones that resemble evolutions of many animals that exist on Earth. But if you compare any of them with an animal, they will feel insulted and kill you. Well, I would prefer to talk about all this on another occasion. It would be best if we ended this for today so that you can report back to your own country and let people digest everything that I said. I think that sooner or later, there will be a meeting in the United Nations located in Manhattan, New York, regarding my World and my appearance in here.

The American Ambassador coughed, asking for attention.

- Aham… If I may ask, what are your intentions about making this contact? What do you want from us and what do you have to offer?

Seya smiled, of course that would arise.

- Just a treaty for an interchange of knowledge, products and people. I want knowledge and help for the evolution of my World and the improvement of the lives of the beings living in here. In return, you can get all the Magic that you may need, training, Magical Equipment, and help on integrating Magic with Earth's science. Maybe you can learn a thing or two from us, about peaceful existence among Humans from different countries and skin colours. But it's better if all of you forget the idea of getting any kind of advantage over another country on Earth, through us. My offering is for everyone, not only for Japan, U.S.A. or China. And, don't you try to do to us what some countries did to the American Indians, Mayans, Incan, or to the Australian Aborigines when you first went there. We either negotiate on equal terms and common respect, or we won't negotiate at all.

The American Ambassador raised one eyebrow.

- What do you mean by that?

- Exactly what I said. I already know a lot about Earth History. Please, don't make me explain any more than this, I don't want to make you look bad by giving you a History lesson in front of all these people… For now, I bid you farewell. I have Representatives from two Worlds to explain what happened here on my previous visit and this one, for them to decide if they want to interact with you or not. Prime Minister, if I could ask you a favour, I have a message that I would be very grateful if you delivered it to the Emperor.

While the American Ambassador was feeling embarrassed by Seya's response, the others were hiding a smile and the Minister of Japan was nodding.

- Of course, it would be an honour.

Seya opened his Compressed Dimension and put his right arm inside of it. Seeing a dark circle surrounded by a light appearing right before their eyes and Seya putting his arm inside of it, was surprising enough to make the Minister gulp and the Ambassadors turn pale. From there, Seya took a sword and a sheath that he delivered through the Gateway Arch while bowing.

- It would be an honour if you delivered this sword to the Emperor and offered him my loyalty and friendship.

The Minister took a few steps and reached out his hands to fetch the sword that Seya was offering him through the Arch and bowed too, after receiving it.

- It will be my honour to deliver this sword and your message.

Seya looked to the Ambassadors and explained.

- Please don't feel insulted or think that I am favouring Japan over another country. It's only because this World is more similar to Japan than any of your countries. Many of our ways of thinking and acting remained unchanged over almost 1.000 years. Besides Samurais, we also have Geishas, Japanese musical instruments and cities that look like an old samurai movie from Akira Kurosawa, just to name a few similarities. Myself, on the other hand, have more knowledge about the ways and History of Europe because of the Human Kingdom where I grew up, but I was raised and trained as a Samurai since I learned how to talk. If you have any urgent question, tell this Knight and it will deliver your message to me.

Seya bowed again and left the cave, leaving the Japanese Prime Minister and the foreign Ambassadors too dumbfounded to say anything more.
