The 1.000 year Great Sage ---> COMPLETED STORY

A choir of laughter, clapping and cheering sounds echoed all around. Seya turned to face the Representatives from Earth and the reporters.

- I need to go change my clothes and take a quick bath, I will join you in a few moments. Cousin Arys, do you mind opening a Gateway to the Coliseum in my lands? Maybe doing a walk in the Capital before going to the Inn near the ocean?

- Of course, cousin, I can do that!

Arys opened a Gateway near her. On the other side, it was another arena. The Secretary-General was looking at the Gateway, surprising for seeing another one that wasn't made by Seya.

- Princess Arys, you can also create one of these passages? Anyone can do it?

- No, only RabbitKind or Half-Breed that can use Dark Magic. And even for us, this is very difficult to accomplish. My cousin Seya created a way for everyone to open a Gateway, by using a Gateway Crystal to connect to a Communicator Device in another city, and even people like you, that can't use Magic, can make one. Let's go, I will show you next how you can open a Gateway, all by yourself.

While the Representatives and the reporters crossed the Gateway, Seya went to his room in Gaya, to change and have a quick bath. Ryn was talking with the reporter when she saw her own mother, Leia Mycym, in the arena, getting ready to fight a DogKind fighter that looked fearsome. She rushed to the edge of the balcony, completely amazed by her mother in her fighting armour and with the long sword that Seya gave her as a gift, the Odachi.

- No way! My mother is going to fight next! So cool!

Heiji tried to pull her arm.

- Let's go Ryn, or you are going to be left behind!

- No, I want to see my mother fighting! You go, I will join you guys after she finishes!

The reporter approached her to look at the arena.

- Miss Ryn, is that woman with green hair, your mother?

Ryn had a sparkle in her eyes.

- Yes, Leia Mycym, my mother, the most famous security guard in the Kingdom of Rohan… I know that she also has a good reputation in other Kingdoms. Only recently I discovered that she participates in tournaments, to keep herself in shape. She taught me how to fight since I learned how to walk. You can go with them, I want to see this fight. It's been a long time since I saw her fighting seriously.

- If you don't mind, I and my cameraman would stay to see it too.

Ryn pointed at the Gateway.

- You will not see where they are going. Weren't you guys supposed to come here to show your World everything?

- There are other reporters and cameramen on that group. I prefer to watch this. We can join them later, correct?

- Yes, I just need to call Princess Arys or Seya to know where they are.

The reporter was puzzled.

- Call? How do you do that?

Ryn grabbed the two Crystals that she had on the string around her neck.

- I just need to hold this Crystal and say to whom I want to talk. It then connects and I can use this one to open a Gateway. Seya made these Gateway Crystals, and a lot of people are using it, nowadays.

The reporter looked at both Crystals.

- Something like that must be very expensive…

- Not really. This Communicator Crystal, he made it just for me and he's not selling any of these. It is synchronized to my Magic Flow, and only I can use it. The Gateway Crystal is free, and it costs 5 copper coins for charging it with 5 uses. For using this, one person needs to contact a Communicator Device by using another Communicator Device anywhere in the World and use the Gateway Crystal to go there. He made it like this as a security measure, to prevent misuses.

- Communicator Device? What's that?

- It's a pyramid made of metal, the size of a children's head, with a Light Crystal inside of it. The Elfian Great Sage created them, 1.000 years ago and she taught a lot of Mages, how to make more. We use it to communicate to every city or Royal Castle. Those are very expensive. My father has one, to keep in touch with all our business branches.

The reporter was still looking at the Magic Crystals, amazed with the possibilities they could create and the possible uses, back on Earth.

- Where can I get one of these Gateway Crystals? I suppose I can be allowed to have one, right?

- I think so. Ask Seya, I bet that he already thought about that and he's going to get some for all of you to test. But remember what he said, Magic Crystals, because they don't exist on Earth, can be priceless. Some years ago, they were very costly, but since Seya taught us how to make them, they don't cost anything anymore.

- Wait… are you saying that anyone can make Magic Crystals?

-Not everyone, but our group does it very easily. And most of the students in our school as well, Seya taught during some of his classes. Princess Arys and Duncan Macleod, for example, they are very good at making statues of Magic Crystal. Oh, the fight is starting!

They kept on watching the fight, while the rest of the group visited the Coliseum. The Representatives were amazed by the size of it and the impressive statues at the top. From there, a walk along the main street of Seya's Capital, visiting the market and some shops. When Arys opened a Gateway to the new Inn near the sea, Seya joined them. In there, everyone was amazed by the view from the top of the cliff and they totally understood why there were so many people around and down at the beach. They had a quick look at the hall of the Inn, where the Innkeeper was registering some new guests and a servant was opening and closing Gateways from where more people were arriving.

Seya guided them to have a look at the building where a lot of BeastKind and Humans were playing in the pool. When they got out, wondering where the next visit would guide them, Seya pointed to the sky. Above them and a little further into the land, they could perfectly see Gaya, on her automatic journey. They were astonished. One thing was looking from the windows of the Control Room to the view all around, another was being on the ground and seeing a big Mountain slowly flying. Erza was pointing her camera between the disbelieved faces of the Representatives, the reporters, and up, to where Gaya was.

Seya hid a smile and opened a Gateway after sending a mental message to Aku Kiro for him to warn the Guards, there was no need for them to be probed and get a scare. He pointed at it with his hand and called everyone to follow him.

When they crossed, they stood in front of two enormous gate doors of the wall that surrounded the LizardKind city. When the doors opened and they followed Aku Kiro, the view inside was mind-blowing. It was just like Seya described, wooden buildings, kimonos, Samurais walking down the streets. They followed Aku Kiro and when they entered his Dojo, they went in small groups to have a look at the training room, where some students were practising the Three-Sword-Style. When everyone had a glimpse of the training, they gathered in the garden outside, around Seya. The Japanese Representative was the first to speak, with an enormous smile on his face.

- This is truly wonderful! I only saw a place like this on books or in some old movies. This is like a travel through time, to ancient Japan. I feel very proud and honoured to come here. All the rest was wonderful as well, but all this, this city, this people, even if they look so different from us, Japanese, I feel that they can even be more Japanese than me! I… I have no words to describe it any better…

Seya nodded.

- Yes, I like them too. You see, they incorporated many of their heritage with the Japanese ways, similar to how BeastKind incorporated their heritage and story with the Human ways. Well, there's one last place that I want to show you. This is not a happy place for everyone in this World because it brings a lot of bad memories. But I think you will find it beautiful. So, if you follow me, we will return to Gaya, it will be easier like that.

Seya opened a Gateway directly to the Control Room. When everyone joined him, he went straight to the helm. By turning off the autopilot function, he directed Gaya through a big Gateway that he opened at the front. On the other side, everyone could see from the windows, the Demonoid Island, turned into a bright sun, hovering above ten big Obelisks made of shinning Magic Crystal. Seya stopped Gaya and went near a window. He looked at the Island for a few seconds, took a deep breath and faced the Representatives.

- Through that Gateway, we travelled to the middle of the ocean where the Demonoid Island used to be. Now, it's that small sun that you see over there. Inside of it, there's an Island with the most horrific creatures that existed on this World, the Demonoids. On those pillars below it, it's written the names of the hundreds that died so that we could forever be free from the threat that the Demonoids were to all living beings. For us, this is a sad place. For you, that didn't face the terror that we faced on that huge battle, when you look at it, you may find it beautiful. I thought this would be a good place to finish this tour. Having Humans from Earth on this place, with whom I hope to start good relations, will give another important purpose for all the ones that died.

Everyone was silent for a while. Seya tried to smile, but the light from the Demonoid Island was coming through the windows and with it, the memories. The Secretary-General interrupted the silence, trying to change the heavy mood.

- Great Sage, thank you for all that you showed us. I think that by now, everyone confirmed all the wonders that you told us in the United Nations Headquarters. Perhaps we can now return so that we discuss what to do from here.

Seya nodded while looking around.

- I guess that this day was a little tiring. Maybe it would be better if you postpone the meeting for tomorrow morning. Like that, everyone can digest everything that they saw and contact their own government. Unless you are not tired. I know I am!

The Secretary-General nodded with a serious look, after a moment of thought.

- Yes, it was indeed tiring. Even using the Gateways to save time, we travelled a lot and we all saw many things. Maybe it would be better if we followed your advice and re-schedule another meeting for tomorrow morning unless some Representatives are opposing.

No one opposed, they all agreed that they needed to think, contact their government and families, before they discussed any further what each country would want to do, in face of the discovery of new Worlds. Seya nodded and looked in the direction of the reporters at the back.

- I already made arrangements for anyone that would want to stay the night. Gaya has enough empty houses and rooms, our kitchen is waiting to know how many will be staying to take care of dinner and a group of Geisha is doing a performance, right after we finish eating. I understand if no one wants to stay, I am sure that there will be enough opportunities. And because I don't want that any of you has any doubts that Earth as a lot to gain with us, I am going to give an interesting gift, to everyone. I have been working in secrecy on this, for quite some time, waiting for this moment.

Seya threw a small dark dot to an empty spot near a wall. When the dot enlarged, from his Compressed Dimension, came a big pile of Light Magic Crystals.

Everyone was puzzled by it, including his friends. John was the one that was most near the pile and he shouted, as soon as he felt the type of Magic that was emanating from that pile.

- No way! These Light Crystals, they are full of Healing Magic? How did you make this? I never knew this was even possible!

Seya pointed to the pile, inviting the Representatives.

- Please, take one of those. I think there's enough for everyone, including the reporters and cameramen. For the ones that are having second thoughts because of your own suspicion about everyone and everything, I can guarantee that you will for sure like it. Grab one and say the command word 'Scan, activate!'. You will feel a tingling all over your body while the Crystal analyses your health. If it finds any kind of problem, it will blink and a blinking dot will also appear on your body, signalling the place where the problem is. If one day you get an injury and you have the Crystal with you, the Healing Magic will activate and heal you instantly. These Crystals will also work on Earth because our Magic is going there. When the Magic on the Crystal ends, you just need to ask for someone that can use Healing Magic, to refill it.

Everyone was puzzled by his words. The Representative from America was the first to grab a Crystal and to say the command word. He frowned when he felt the tingling that Seya explained. His Crystal began to blink and a blinking dot appeared on his clothes, above his heart.

- Weird… What does this mean?

Seya frowned.

- Seems that you have a heart condition. I don't know what it is, I need to check you, to be sure.

The Representative was still looking at the blinking dot.

- Maybe it's because of my pacemaker… It's blinking because it has a problem?

Seya explained while smiling.

- No, it's only blinking because there is a difference between your heart and one of a healthy Human. Do you want me to fix your heart or that doesn't bother you?

The American Representative sttutered a few times.

- You… you… can you do that? It never bothered me, I just need to have some precautions because of it.

Seya pointed to John.

- If you want, either I or John over there can take care of that. He is a very good Healer.

John shook his head.

- It's not difficult, I will show you. Next time, you can do it all alone. You just need to use Light Magic to make a window on his chest and use the special binocular that I gave you.

John was thinking for a while and he then widened his eyes.

- Oh, I understand! That's a very good idea!

The other Representatives went to grab a Crystal, together with the reporters. The cameramen were the last ones, they wanted to film everyone. When every Crystal was activated, there were some Representatives that had one dot on their body, either on top of the mouth signalling a lost tooth, or a recent cut on one hand or the most disturbing, one Representative had two blinking dots on his chest. The German Representative was looking at the dots, puzzled.

- Weird… my dots are larger than what the others have.

Seya approached him.

- Do you mind if I take a look? This is intriguing me.

- Sure, why not?

Seya called John to join him and sent some Light Magic to the chest of the Representative and a window appeared, showing the inside of his chest. Seya made another one, to look at the lungs. There was a lot of dark spots spread all over, some parts were completely dark, instead of the normal light pink colour.

- I think I know what this is. We don't have it on this World, no one smokes in here because there is no tobacco plant. Seems like you smoke a lot. Do you want that I clean this for you, or you won't mind dying of lung cancer in some years? You don't have cancer yet, but I bet that you get tired rather easily.

The German Representative nodded.

- Yeah, my wife nags me a lot, for me to quit smoking. If possible, I would like to have this out of me, this darkness on my lungs doesn't look very healthy.

Seya gathered his Magic and asked.

- Do you mind if my friend Erza films this? Because if you tell your wife what I did, she won't believe you, for sure!

The Representative smiled.

- If you clean my lungs, there will be a riot in the medic community back on Earth, I bet!

When Erza was near them, Seya sent two small dark dots to the lungs of the Representative. They spread, covering the dirt caused by all the years of smoking. When Seya's Dark Magic dispersed into his Compressed Dimension, both lungs had a very healthy pink colour. Seya dispersed the Light Magic that was creating the window on the Representatives' chest.

- How do you feel?

The Representative took a deep breath. Frowned, and took another one. He then smiled.

- Wonderful, actually. It's been a long time since I took such deep breaths and didn't felt a pain in my chest. Thanks a lot!

- No problem. I am glad I could help. Did you get it, John? Since you don't use Dark Magic for creating a Compressed Dimension, you can use a Dark Magic Crystal. Or Healing Magic, to help the dirt on the lungs disperse and be naturally expelled by the body of the patient.

John nodded, with a very serious look on his face.

- Yeah, I see… This method of yours of using a Light Window to see the inside of a body, it's a very good idea. I normally use my Magic Flow, to sense where is the problem.

- I also do it like that, I only thought that this method was more interesting and easier to get on a camera, so that Healers from all over the World could learn.

- No way… You thought on an application like that? So cool…

Seya turned to face the German Representative.

- I would advise you to use this opportunity and do a fresh start, please, quit smoking! Since you have the Healing Crystal, you won't feel any symptoms from the withdraw, because as soon as your body reacts to the lack of nicotine, the Crystal will activate and stop that.

The Secretary-General was dumbfounded.

- No way… Does… everyone in this World does things with Magic so outstanding as this one?

Ryn approached Seya in silence, with a frown above her eyes. He understood what was going to happen and he closed his eyes and clenched his teeth. Ryn punched his head, hard. She turned away in silence and went near Lionelia again. Titania increased her size and punched his head too.

- Argh! I hate you so much! Why are you so good with Magic? How did you found the time to create these Crystals? And why I didn't saw you doing it? I am always near you!

- Heheheh! I waited for you to be distracted. I made it mostly when you were with Master Aku Kiro and Master Eridan, teaching Gaya. I thought it would be funny, seeing that angry look on your face.

Titania slowly shook her head.

- You… Stop smiling like that to me, I am still angry!

She then turned to face the Representatives.

- I am sorry for my reaction, but Seya does this type of things since he was very little. He thinks on different uses for our Magic, in ways that even I, never imagined. And I am the oldest being in this World! My knowledge of Magic is vast, but this young Human does things like this, so easily and effortlessly, that sometimes I get mad at him.

The Secretary-General slowly nodded.

- Yes… all this was too much, indeed. If even for you this was not so ordinary as he made it look…

Titania made a slight smile.

- Yeah, he tends to do that…
